Happy 20th Birthday, Vanessa Hudgens!
Zac Efron (in Diesel “Thanaz 8DK” jeans) and Vanessa Hudgens (in Desert Blue “The Phoenix” jeans) whisper sweet nothings into each other’s ears while celebrating V’s 20th birthday in L.A. on Sunday.
The 17 Again actor brought a large bouquet of flowers and carried a gift under his arms for his sweetheart!
One of Maxim’s Sexiest for 2009, Vanessa spent yesterday at the 2008 Environment Youth Conference at the L.A. Convention Center with HSM co-star Olesya Rulin.

I’m thinking she probably spent the day with her family, got picked up from her parents’ house by Zac, went for a bite and then went back to her own place to spend some time together.
Luckily, it appears she lives in a gated community so the paps are not able to get pics of them at her own house.
I love how she manages to give both her family and Zac quality time.
I don’t like the way he wears his pants ,or the way he lets them sag. It makes his body look weird. It’s like upper half is the right size but the lower half is way too short and skinny.

Why should’nt they go out and celebrate Vanessa’s birthday and whatever they decided to do for the rest of the day and night is their buisness and the only photo’s we see of them together is either work related or when their trying to go about their own buisness, what they do behind closed doors are photo’s we will never see and why should we that’s their time, they’re both consulting adults so what they do is up to them.
And I see now that Vanessa is a adult that the comments are coming out again that they need to break up and go and experience the world with half a dozen different partners to find out what REAL love is becuase of course neither of them know their own feelings, know how they make each other feel, how they cope with being seperate all this needs to be found out with them being seperate and with other people.
Why on earth would you want to go and experience these things with someone else when you alrready have it with the partner that you have had for 3 year’s, again yes they were young when they met 16 and 17 and yes it could have been a crush on both their parts at first but something obvioulsy was deeper and they have taken the time to see where it has taken them which is out of their teenage year’s still together and into adult year’s where again if they want to be together that alone will bring a new set of situations and feelings for them to deal with and see where it take’s them.
It seems that this needs repeating but nobody and I mean nobody know’s how long a relactionship will last when you first meet someone that for some reason has something that nobody you have met before has that make’s you want to get to know each other better and on a deeper level over time, and Zac and Vanessa are no different but after 3 year’s they obvioulsy have found that with each other, but that’s not to say it will last only they and again I’ve said before only THEY know how long this journey will last and that’s how it should be up to them, not us not the press and considering how in their face’s the press are I think they have done a bloody brilliant job of getting together so young and keeping it going like they have and long may it contiune but if it does’nt they have shared something that is still very special to the two people that count Zac and Vanessa and nobody else.
Anybody who follws them on JJ know that they both get annoyed by the pap’s and I’ve a feeling that this is why Zac looks a bit down on some of the photo’s after all it was Vanessa’s special day and like any other decent boyfriend he probably just wanted to spend some quality time with his girl but of course know’s that the pap’s will be in their face’s so why should either of them give the pap’s a big old smile or be pawing each other just to give them a good picture so they did like they usually do and kept quiet but the looks between the two of them were their to be seen.
Sorry about the rant but it just gets me annoyed when people seem to think that they know what’s best for a couple better than the couple do themselves, it’s a good job that Z and V don’t listhen to other people and rumours becuase that’s when problems can occur when two many people stick their nose’s in affairs that don’t concern them.
Be a fan if you want to be and enjoy their work and leave the important part of their live’s for them to decided what to do with after all they live it under the spotlight we don’t.

The picture at the door is adorable when there is a glimpse of his natural reaction. The expression on Zac’s face the rest of the time is the “no emotions for the paps” look he always has whenever the paps photograph him.
I wonder if Zac and Vanessa planned to “grin and bear” the paps for a part of the day so that all of us fans could see them together. Then the speculation would not run on about what they did or if Zac cares enough or if this or if that.
This is the trouble with being a Zanessa fan. It is great to see them together but it is starting to feel disingenuous to hope for photos of them. Vanessa and (particularly) Zac look so bummed about the loss of privacy and the harassment. The problem become clear to me with the TMZ video at the airport. Aren’t the fans part of the problem when a website can find a following by being so out of line. All Z and V wanted to do was travel together while doing their job and they were barraged with the most inappropriate, degrading questions.
Some of you are thinking that it comes with celebrity territory or that they will miss the attention when the paps are gone or that they deserve to be harassed for some reason or another.
Maybe the solution is for Zac and Vanessa to do a weekly show for our entertainment. Then we can ask them questions about why they did this or that and pry into their personal lives and get all the details about their relationship. Then the paps won’t have any reason to follow about them. So the question us fans have to ask is - do we really want a Speidi show? Don’t think so!
So thanks Zac and Vanessa for taking a walk through the gauntlet of paps this afternoon. Now we have proof that you care about each other! Oh wait - I forgot - this relationship is just a Disney publicity stunt.

I would like to know why people think to learn about life you have to be unattached and sleep with at least a dozen different people before you know what you want? Yes, these two have a lot of life lessons ahead of them but why can’t they experience them TOGETHER??? There are many regular posters on this site who can confirm how they met their spouses when they were 16/17 years old and are now married—some as long as 35 years+ with children—-and still happy! You people make me sick who think you can’t find what you want before the age of 30—and I was one of those people who got married at 30.

zac looks like the best boyfriend ever .
Looking at the papp’s video, Zac’s car was parked by the restaurant’s parking employee. When Zac was walking towards Vanessa in the parking lot, there was a man getting into Zac’s car to park it. Also, both driver and passenger’s front windows were rolled down, and there were papps near Zac’s car. It appears to me, that one of those papps staged the whole cig scene. The papps probably put the cig on top of car console inside of Zac’s car to make it look like its his or Vanessa, and then take the pictures of it to make big story headlines and money. I believed the cig was STAGED and put in Zac’s car by the PAPPS for big money headline story.
I am confidenced that both Vanessa and Zac DO NOT smoke cig or anything.

why is it so hard to believe that people have met the two of them? i’ve met them both as well. not together but each as separate people at different functions.

I have no doubt you have met these two as I know people who have also met them. My problem lies in WHY would you think they are over?? Don’t you think they can have separate careers but still have a private life together? What all have they done that would make them “over”? My husband and I have been married for 25 years this coming March and I’m sure we have experienced more together and one more than Zac and Vanessa and I certainly hope we are not over.
Zac and Vanessa weren’t together just because they were doing movies together. And when it comes to careers they could still do movies together in the future. Paul Newman and Joanne Woodward were married for 50 years and did numerous movies together but also had separate careers and made individual movies and movies together. But they always were together for a private life.
Karen - I didn’t mean their relationship is done - I think they might be soul mates. I meant that they will probably not be seeing the success they have had with HSM again. It doesn’t seem like Hollywood is knocking too hard on Vanessa’s door - or even Zac’s for that matter. I am fans of theirs but just don’t get it when everyone gushes about how great they are. They got a lucky break and I am glad they did.
Like I said - hopefully they will prove me wrong.
Also, I live very close to Zac and HAVE met them both. They are super nice people and I wish them luck.

I truly believe we will see a lot more of both these two and actually Vanessa is at least rumored to have several things in the works at this time. On E’s Daily News the insiders a saying she is be noticed now since HSM is behind her so it seems Hollywood IS interested.
It is true that both Zac and Vanessa are always going to be followed by the shadow of HSM and they will never get rid of that. However, think if actor’s are smart they never should forget just how it was that fans became to love them.

In response to #31. I know a couple who have been together since they were both 20 and now they are celebrating close to thirty years of marriage. So Zac and Vanessa are NOT TOO young to be in love. I think everyone needs to just let them be in love and leave them alone. The ones that don’t think they will last, are the ones that don’t know what real love is and needs to take some lessons and watch what it really means. Watch how Zac is with Vanessa and how she is with him. The way they smile at each other and hug each other. Their love is fantastic and lasting.
