David haters, he doesn’t care about what you think. Go ahead and say what you want to say, but trust me it’s not gonna bring him down. What I don’t get is he’s one of the nicest people on earth and you’re here criticizing him. What has this world come to? I met him twice and he’s been nothing but nice and humble to me and all his other fans. The Archuletas are really nice people unlike some people on here. Sexual orientation shouldn’t be a problem. If he’s gay, so what. I don’t care cause I’m his fan forever and I don’t care what he is. I’m pretty sure people are mixing up with humble and gay. Just because in this society, it is really rare to find a guy who is down to earth, humble and nice as David, doesn’t mean he’s gay. Gosh. He inspires people and motivate people. That’s more than anyone of you people in here have done. Don’t judge him on who he is as a person cause he’s 1000 times a better and bigger person than you. He doesn’t judge you. Don’t judge people unless you’ve been where they are and walk in their shoes. Dude, he’s more mature than anyone of you and he’s ONLY 17 going on 18. I’m sure that people here are in their 20s, 30s and 40s. Lonely and desperate cause they’re picking on a 17 going on 18 year old kid. Come on give him a break. You try to do the things he have done and what he have been through. I’m pretty sure you wouldn’t even be where he’s at right now. So before you say anything else and criticize him, get to know him, go through everything he has been through, win Star Search, sing with a paralyze vocal chord, move and touch people like he has, place runner up on American Idol out of 100 thousands of people, put out an album in 5 months while touring 52 cities, get platinum with your FIRST single, set a record from your first single, and many more. Unless you’ve been there and done that like he did, don’t say anything.

You’re just a bunch of immature adults who likes picking on a kid who’s not even legal yet and still have done many things before you did. Good luck with trying to do those things that he accomplished cause you can’t even complete them in your lifetime.

I definitely love the video and I seriously could care less about the “GAY” question. Why not take him at his word. He’s an LDS teenager, who was raised with fundamental values about delaying intimate relationships until later in life. If you watched AI, then you know that David typically doesn’t lie about anything, so why would he lie about this? Besides, that said, it really has nothing to do with his music or the video, which is great. Plus, he was brought up with enough self-confidence to know that what other people say has no bearing on who you are as a person. And, from what I’ve seen of David so far, he is a genuinely humble, innocent, loving person who knows exactly who he is and wants to be. So back off and give him some privacy. I agree that the girl in the video looks good with him, but I doubt he cares who we vote for as his girlfriend! Or his boyfriend for that matter, for those of you who insist he’s not only gay, but also a liar. Who cares? ;-) LOVE YA DAVID!
