Madonna & Guy Ritchie’s Divorce Settlement: $76 Million
Madonna and ex-husband Guy Ritchie have reached a divorce settlement of at least $76 million, her rep tells The Associated Press.
The Material Mom’s spokeswoman, Liz Rosenberg, says that as part of the divorce agreement, Madonna has given Guy between $76 million to $92 million, which includes the value of the couple’s country home Ashcombe in western England.
“I’d assume it’s one of the largest payouts ever in a divorce settlement,” Liz said.
Custody of the kids has yet to be finalized.

Totally unfair I think. People should get what they came in with. How dare he get $92 million? Why? That is HER hard earned money. He should be ashamed.

What a nasty thing to do. Why in the world would her spokesperson announce the amount of the settlement unless it was an attempt to make Ritchie look bad?
And then to further announce that “I’d assume it’s one of the largest payouts ever in a divorce settlement. . . ” is just plain crass. And is not even remotely true.
And full of herself. It is by no means a record for a divorce settlement.
Sumner Redstone about 5 years ago paid $2.5 BILLION.
More recently some Russian billionaire also paid $2.5 billion
Paul McCartney paid $108 million
Michael Jordan paid over $187 million plus property
Neil Diamond paid $150 million
Harrison Ford Paid $85 million in 2004
Kevin Costner paid $80 million
Steven Spielberg paid Amy Irving $100 million in 1989
Jack Kent Cooke (Washington Redskins owner) paid what was then the largest settlement ever in 1979 of $42 million.

In lht of these other setllements, Madonna is beginning to sound cheap.

And for the record Ritchie was an accomplished and well known director before he ever met Madonna.
Keep in mind that she has over $500 mil so $76 mil is hardly a lot, considering that and that Guy had to put up with her Kaballah nonsense for the last few years AND that she committed adultery. It’s about 1/6th whereas if they divorced in LA he’d get 50%.
he didn’t want a single penny huh? madonna’s image and who she is in real life is not the same person. she is a performer. stop judging her.
