Boji…it is cold here in California. It’s been raining since last night and did not stop until late morning and it’s suppose to rain until Wednesday. Don’t know about everyone else but it was cold today. It even snowed in Barstow (a desert town you pass by on the way to Las Vegas) oh it also snowed in Vegas today.

Why is there always someone who thinks if you have an opposing comment you are jealous of her? She’s had her HSM fame and did well with that . However she can’t stay in High School forever and her talent is very limited and so is her singing, as evidenced by the poor sales of her album.

Maybe she will or maybe she will not find success in her future projects. Time will tell. Everyone has a right to speak their piece if you agree with it or not. I personally think the boots look hideous as does the lipstick. She’s cute but so are tons of others in Hollywood.

Wow…dani you really should know your stuff. Vanessa is multi-talented. Her album did bad for a reason that had nothing to do with her talent. While her album did bad, her concerts sold out…that says a whole lot.
Aside from that, she has several other areas to weigh in, so the next time you want to give an opinion, make sure you know what your talkin about, otherwise you sound very stupid.

Jared since you asked that question about Vanessa’s career for 2009, I can only predict good things for her which ever it may be her dancing, acting or singing. I would say more in Acting. We’ll just have to wait and see.

In 2006, before she posed nude when you search Vanessa Hugdens on Google News (2006 plate) you find no actual headlines made by Hudgens. In 2007, the nude scandal helped her career rocket, now she is one of Hollywood’s hottest 20 year olds, making Maxim, FHM, Stuff Magazine.

Her past albums were all flops, though the amound of promotion given is the same amount to Demi Lovato’s debut album which still managed to make more and sell more copies than Hudgens’ first 2 albums combined. Hudgens acting ability is limited. The only reason she is being chased by the paparazzi is because of those nude pictures. Which caused a national media stir. All of these girls on this site who seem to worship this girl for some unknown reason, probably sockpuppets, which are easily done on this site.

High School Musical is over, Hudgens career is going near a quite end. By 2012, Hudgens will be know where, even less spotted than Hilary Duff. The fact that Hudgens was really never the Disney queen is astionishing, Cyrus takes over that which makes her expiration date longer than any other girl on Disney. Hudgens voice does not suit any type of pop, which is her moto. If all of the people commenting on here are Vanessa Hudgens fan, then where were you when her first album got released, and why aren’t you buying her new album???? None of her studio albums have ever made Billboard’s The 200 top 10. None of Hudgens singles have ever made the top 10 of any Billboard chart for that matter.

Singing career, is a stub. As for acting, High School Musical 1, 2 and 3, that’s pretty much all, all of her movies in the past few years have been HSM related. All of her television appearances have been Disney related, such as her appearance on the popular hit show The Suite Life of Zack and Cody. Bandslam, her latest movie and first starring role outside of the High School Musical series, is set to hit theatres soon but i highly doubt that it will make bug bucks, since the majority of Hudgens fans are rapidally disappearing. Tween are turning to The Jonas Brothers, Miley Cyrus, Selena Gomez AND the new or emerging Disney Channel stars lineup, Sprouse, Demi Lovato… and on, Taylor Swift, American Idol, Gossip Girl cast, Twilight cast and the One Tree Hill cast.

Hudgens does not exactly have a huge American fanbase, the third movie of HSM and several other factors prove it. A minority of American fans also a minority of Asian fans, Europeans take over, since Disney Channel and Young Hollywood over there is slow. In no time Jonas mania will hit the UK and many other countries over there. Gomez, Swift, Lovato, Song, Sprouse will follow. GG cast, Twilight and One Tree Hill are emerging, so is Song commonly called by E! Online as an emerging teen idol, which means newly formed.

In overall, Hudgens main fanbase are British/European. Then that fanbase is rapidally burning. News agencies and tabloids seem to be writing less of Hudgens. And Hudgens star is burning quitely. As for career, singing is a flop and acting is a pre flop. Let’s see what happens next. As for promotion for Hudgens, she gets more promotion than Selena Gomez, Demi Lovato, The SLOD cast combines, the nude scandal got her huge promotion. Her album doesn’t need more promotion, her albums are flops because the material sold is horrible.

in regard to your question, jared …. i like vanessa a lot, but as far as her acting goes …… i really dont think shes where its at. movies like hsm were perfect, but i dont think i can taker her seriously outside of disney. her singing - i dont see what the big deal is. she said she was gonna go on idol at one point in her life, but i look at previous idol winners falling in different genres and each of their voices are STRONG ….. and im not feeling that from her, i dont think she would’ve survived. her voice isn’t crisp. its not on point. its shaky and … idk. if your with disney, your gonna get a record deal regardless of whether or not you can sing. miley’s co-stars on hannah montanna … what in the world are they doing with singles? her dancing isn’t too bad. really, she has a pretty face, she seems like she has a wonderful personality and a great sense of stlye and those are the major thing thats going for her. but as of right now - her talent - she’s def. not what people big her up to be. - thats just my opinion.

Let me just clarify that many of us fans do not think Van has reached the ultimate with her talent but she will get there.

JJ used the word ‘break out’ so did the industry insider on E! What they recognize and perhaps what the older ones can remember is that all the great actors/actresses of today did not start out wowing anybody with their talent, they grew and developed and came into their own. That’s what we want for Van.

I love Rachel Wiescz but she was ‘awful’ by people’s standards in Chain Reaction but went on to win an Oscar with Constant Gardener. Sean Connery was cringe-worthy in his very early movies when he was much younger, now he is in a different league.

People slammed Hilary Swank in her early movies and wrote her off. Look at where she is now.

We deliberately decided to be fans of Van NOT because she is pretty or moral or whatever other reason but because we enjoy her movies and music, see potential in her, like her personality and we CHOOSE to support her while she experiments, makes her mistakes, learns from them, discovers herself and settles into her own niche.

We don’t care for the Disney brand of success for her, nothing wrong with that, we just want her to do her own thing on her own terms even if success is slower in coming.

Her movies and music do not have to appeal to everyone and they don’t. Obviously, people are entitled to their opinions about her and her work.
I have mine about stars whose work I don’t enjoy, but I try to remind myself that I’m not psychic and can’t tell who would or would not eventually make it.

I just find it amusing when people can sit and decide that Vanessa CANNOT make it in the industry based on her early works and wonder what the hype is about her, when industry insiders who have seen careers come and go are obviously seeing something in her they recognize as potential. She’s already made a movie outside of disney and offers are still coming in.

I guess only time will tell and we all just have to wait and see. Meanwhile if the non-fans would allow the fans to enjoy the girl in peace, loser or not, it would be greatly appreciated.

in toluca where she lives, the past 2 days the weather is around 48 degrees… it was pretty cold ( especially because it is actually 48 degree in the afternoon ) and it was also raining ( not in toluca but in my area, it did rain for the whole day )….
we, californian, used to have 60 to even 90 degrees…. so… when it drops like that, the only option we had is to put as much layers as we can….

If you think that as an insult, then you “might” don’t have many friends because maybe your friend complement you and you often mistaken them as an insult….. -> ( which btw happens to me a lot when I was younger hehehe )

and to tee, I didn’t know that Ashley ever tried out for part that Vanessa got. are u talking about gabriella’s character in hsm ?
because if it is, I believe it was a rumor and Ashley herself said it’s wrong… or are u talking about something else ?

I definitely never said she doesn’t have talent at all. She can sing ( her second album was terrible although some songs like Don’t leave and gone with the wind were exquisite) but her first was great and when she sang Christmas songs they were beautiful)
, and even though I am Ashley fan, I say Vanessa is much better in fact I think I prefer Ashley to just focus on her acting and stop singing ( but of course then I will be accused as the fake fan of the other side :-( )…

I just said that so far Vanessa hasn’t proven anything , not that she needs to anyway, but I believe Bandslam will be her breakthrough role… based on the reviews from screening, her character was actually really different from HSM’s and she pulled it off well…

but I have to say that Vanessa has the best fans ( I am not counting the one who is sometimes immature though )
and I for once, believe that she will be even better without Zac although with Zac, they also make wonderful couple…
