You know what, we agree with you, she is our ‘loser’ and no one ‘cares’ about her, in fact she’s finished!

Halleluiah!!! She’s finished with Disney! If only Disney loving tweens would finish with her!

I’m just begging you all, go on to the threads of your disney darlings and try to bring up their comment count to match Van’s.

You should all be throwing parties at Miley and JB and Selena and Demi and co’s threads that the ‘bad’ role model has finally left Disney and is no longer there to corrupt you all.

We adults have gratefully received her (hopefully, will be spared the sight and sound of anything Disney related) and plan to keep her, you keep the saints.

I’m really confused as to why any of you are here adding to her popularity.

I think Disney should make you all do some penance for clicking on the thread of not just a ‘loser’ but a ‘bad’ girl to look at her ‘bad’ pictures instead of being on the threads of the ‘good’ ones emulating their ‘goodness’.

Naomi, you are priceless!!!!! I hope that Vanessa knows she has matures fans who are rooting for here to move WAY beyond Disney.

I also hope Vanessa purchases a Tempur-Pedic mattresses. I bought one four years ago, and it is the absolute best mattress I have ever owned. So comfortable.

why don’t you go to Selena, Demi,JB, etc., threads? if you check them out on JJJ, almost no one is even commenting on them, meaning, NO ONE CARES ENOUGH TO EVEN POST ANYTHING NEGATIVE OR POSITIVE ABOUT THEM. are these people better than Vanessa for real? do they really have more fan base than Vanessa? then give us the friggin PROOF you a*ss**le!

I saw that last night on E! News. It was good to hear someone in the industry say that Vanessa has broken out of the Disney mold and was getting serious attention career wise.

I wish that “Bandslam” was coming out sooner than July 2009. I’m really eager to see her in that.

in regard to your question, jared …. i like vanessa a lot, but as far as her acting goes …… i really dont think shes where its at. movies like hsm were perfect, but i dont think i can taker her seriously outside of disney. her singing - i dont see what the big deal is. she said she was gonna go on idol at one point in her life, but i look at previous idol winners falling in different genres and each of their voices are STRONG ….. and im not feeling that from her, i dont think she would’ve survived. her voice isn’t crisp. its not on point. its shaky and … idk. if your with disney, your gonna get a record deal regardless of whether or not you can sing. miley’s co-stars on hannah montanna … what in the world are they doing with singles? her dancing isn’t too bad. really, she has a pretty face, she seems like she has a wonderful personality and a great sense of stlye and those are the major thing thats going for her. but as of right now - her talent - she’s def. not what people big her up to be. - thats just my opinion.

now baby v is formally a year older than me but she’s getting even prettier as she adds another glamorous year to her age! she’s beautiful always. peace!

I can’t wait for Bandslam

Let me just clarify that many of us fans do not think Van has reached the ultimate with her talent but she will get there.

JJ used the word ‘break out’ so did the industry insider on E! What they recognize and perhaps what the older ones can remember is that all the great actors/actresses of today did not start out wowing anybody with their talent, they grew and developed and came into their own. That’s what we want for Van.

I love Rachel Wiescz but she was ‘awful’ by people’s standards in Chain Reaction but went on to win an Oscar with Constant Gardener. Sean Connery was cringe-worthy in his very early movies when he was much younger, now he is in a different league.

People slammed Hilary Swank in her early movies and wrote her off. Look at where she is now.

We deliberately decided to be fans of Van NOT because she is pretty or moral or whatever other reason but because we enjoy her movies and music, see potential in her, like her personality and we CHOOSE to support her while she experiments, makes her mistakes, learns from them, discovers herself and settles into her own niche.

We don’t care for the Disney brand of success for her, nothing wrong with that, we just want her to do her own thing on her own terms even if success is slower in coming.

Her movies and music do not have to appeal to everyone and they don’t. Obviously, people are entitled to their opinions about her and her work.
I have mine about stars whose work I don’t enjoy, but I try to remind myself that I’m not psychic and can’t tell who would or would not eventually make it.

I just find it amusing when people can sit and decide that Vanessa CANNOT make it in the industry based on her early works and wonder what the hype is about her, when industry insiders who have seen careers come and go are obviously seeing something in her they recognize as potential. She’s already made a movie outside of disney and offers are still coming in.

I guess only time will tell and we all just have to wait and see. Meanwhile if the non-fans would allow the fans to enjoy the girl in peace, loser or not, it would be greatly appreciated.
