Eddie Murphy is The Riddler
Eddie Murphy will play Gotham villian The Riddler in the next Batman movie, reports The Sun.
The 47-year-old former Beverly Hills Cop was tapped by British director Christopher Nolan to reprise the role played by Jim Carrey in 1995’s Batman Forever.
The studio has also reportedly signed up Transformers star Shia LaBeouf, 22, to play Robin. Rachel Weisz is rumored to be taking up the Catwoman role.

please god, no! this couldn’t be true.and robin?wtf? christian bale said that if they had robin, he would not take part in that movie!
i’d say NO, but i hope he does a good job.
if hes a good enough actor to make me forget hes eddie murphy thats all i care about. i dont want to watch the movie and be like ” oh thats eddie murphy” i want to watch it and be like “oh thats the riddler” i want him to loose everything that makes him..him and completely become the riddler.
i think Aishwarya Rai should play Catwoman , with those eyes.. she’s born to play that role!

Obviously false because a lot of people (director, writers, actors) didn’t want Robin in the any of the movies.
I think this could be a very shrewd move.
Everyone went ‘what?’ when leadger was sigend as the Joker.
This could be the role that brings back Murphy and proves that Nolan is a ******* Genius!
I’m more pissed off about Shia, he’s very annoying and been in too much recently. To be honest, the whole Robin thing sounds lame.
But, with Nolan, it’s in safe hands.

The Riddler is not even a good character (is lame), besides bringing once again Robin is the worst idea EVER! Robin killed the previous Batman movies!!

Oh please, this is complete bull. Nolan said he wouldn’t go anywhere near Robin in his movies, and Bale himself said he’d walk if Robin was introduced.

Neither a plot nor script has even been writen yet.
Nolan will work on another movie before he tackles another Batman film.
The Sun is a garbage tabloid paper, and the actual article doesn’t even state ant sources. What’s more is that several reliable movie sites have debunked this artcle.
