Whoever said Brad should have been noticed for his acting eons ago must be on crack. The reason he’s being noticed now is because of the fact that he’s improved on his acting. He’s taken on roles with the “big dogs” now. Brad eons ago was very very mediocre.

you dumbazz, get your stinky azz out of here.

Ashley Banks @ 12/18/2008 at 1:19 pm

He’s still mediocre. One review says a different actor would have done more with the role but Brad is decent enough.

@huh you’re dumb.

Brad would have never gotten an Oscar in his 20s or 30s. He wasn’t that great then. He’s better than George Clooney yet George had to politic his a-ss to get one. Brad is better than that. The time for Brad to get one will come…

Personally, I want Leo to win but if Brad wins…I wouldn’t mind either.

Halo @ 12/18/2008 at 1:12 pm

No his acting wasn’t mediocre. It was good and now is getting better like most actors who start out. And for that matter like anyone else. Including Angie. This was the reason why they were noticed in the first place. Both Brad and Angelina usually overshadow people in movies. Even the so called good ones. If you watch a movie and the only person you can remember in the movie is Brad or Angelina, then that is a testament to their acting chops and their presence. Without this you don’t have a chance of being recognized. I don’t care how beautiful you are.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY BESANE!
Wishing you many happy returns of this lovely day!! :)

Congratulation to Mr. and Mrs. Jolie-Pitt, great news, now we have 3 RC events to look forward to next year. Happy Birthday to Besane and to Mr. Pitt.

Isn’t this the best gift for Birthday boy Brad? Congrats to Brad and Angie. They deserve the nominations specially Brad.

Of course Brad could have gotten recognized in his 30s for his acting. The man had great turns in Fight Club, Seven, Snatch. If he were anyone else the Academy would have been tripping over themselves to nominate him.

Leo

His acting was mediocre. He was nothing but eye candy. Leo has accomplished what Brad couldn’t do in his early 30s and they’re both the same type of actors who had to fight through “eye candy” stigma to be taken seriously. The only difference is Leo can act better. No matter how big or horrible the film is…no one can take Leo’s place in the film. Though with Brad, he was films that any other actor could have done.

Your opinion is your opinion and of course my opinion is mine.

Halo @ 12/18/2008 at 1:22 pm
===========
Leo’s acting was and is mediocre. He is overrated.

Lainey was very lame towards the JPs, when she commented on their SAG awards, as she seems to be lately. I wonder who/what got up her azz…

She needs to lay off the Pitts. Sounds very jealous of Angie and Brad. It’ s so true, a lot of insecure women are jealous of Ange.

Congrats Brad and Ange, go JPs…

LEO @ 12/18/2008 at 1:29 pm

Of course Brad could have gotten recognized in his 30s for his acting. The man had great turns in Fight Club, Seven, Snatch. If he were anyone else the Academy would have been tripping over themselves to nominate him.

So true.

BTW, Leo D looks like 55 years old, he is fugly and fat.

People keep mentioning Fight Club and Seven as if Brad’s roles in those movies were the best acting they’ve ever seen… I don’t understand that.

Brad was better in “Jesse James” and Interview with the Vampire. Fight Club is just one of those movies people hated when it came out but the cult fanatics made people like the film better over the years. In the film industry, it doesn’t work that way. You don’t get nominated for an Oscar for a film people hated years ago. Brad is better now. He wasn’t great then.

I’ve seen them give nominations and awards to people who have one tenth the screen presence as Brad or Angie. And some of those people have disappeared, nowhere to be seen. Their promise evaporated faster than their careers. So you can shut the fcuk up about Brad and Angie being nominated because of popularity. If that was the case then Angie would have been nominated last year for AMH and Brad for Babel. Instead we had the popular Cate who got a lead nom for that terrible Elizabeth movie and George Clooney getting his for playing himself in Michael Clayton.

I am so glad Cate Blanchett didn’t get nods for GG and SAG.

GREAT NEWS…..FOR BRAD AND ANGELINA….HEY …JEN WHO?

HEY, JEN CHIN……HOW YOU LIKE THEM NOW…..OLD WOMAN…

UGLY OLD WOMAN….DESPERATE OLD WOMAN….WANABE BE

BITTER OLD WOMAN….YOU LOOK YOUR AGE JEN…NOW START

ACTING LIKE IT……YOUR FINISH….CHIN JEN..AND YOUR GOING

DOWN AS A LOSER…..LOSER….LOSER….LOSER…LOSER AZZHO

Who cares if Leo is ugly and fat? the man can act. You’re just an obsessive Brad fan that can’t understand some people are actually better than Brad Pitt.

Leo is overrated? Brad wishes he can act the way Leo did in the Aviator or Blood Diamond. At least when Leo is nominated, he’s nominated in a tough year. Unlike Brad, who was nominated to be a filler spot for 12 Monkeys where you knew he wasn’t going to win.

This year Brad deserves his nomination. He’s better. Stop trying to act as if he was Oscar worthy 20 years ago. Accept that he’s better now.

To the idiot Halo, Brad got Oscar nod for 12 Monkey at his 30s. Duh.

I don’t know why you’re talking about Leo D, I don’t have a problem with him as an actor. I think he’s fine. And since I haven’t seen Revolutionary Road, I can’t comment on whether or not he’s good in it. And no anyone could not have played Tyler in fight club but Brad, that was all his. Same for Snatch.

You’re the idiot because I wrote that before you DUUUUUUUH.

CONGRATULATIONS TO MY CHICKIE BABE & BRADDY!!!

TO THE JOLIE-PITT FAMILY, MAY ALLWAYS GOOD FORTUNE AND BLESSINGS COME YOUR WAY & YOUR FAMILY :-)
