Cute couple Jennifer Aniston (in Degaine jeans) and John Mayer share a romantic stroll back to his apartment after dinner at La Esquina with morning talk show host Kelly Ripa and Mark Consuelos in New York City on Thursday night.
Jen, 39, once again has joined the fight against childhood cancer, teaming up with St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital in a national television spot filmed with a six-year-old St. Jude patient, Ellie. Jen asks everyone to, “Give thanks for the healthy kids in your life, and give to those who are not.”

And also, I do believe that this relationship with Mayer is fake, I am saying that since they started months ago, because of publicity Jolie and Pitt had, they twins were born and Cannes and everything else … But why is Aniston doing that? People give Jen a hard time because she dates a man 8 years younger but what about Pitt, Jolie is 12 yrs. younger than him, double standard? How sad that as far as women have come this attitude still exists. Grow up and stop hating, its her life let her live it!!
I really don’t trust to this “husband” story, because paparazzi are always there around her, and tabloids would kill for that kind of information, just like you told this story to us, any other person could sell that to US weekly or any other tabloid, so I don’t believe it! Beside, why she wouldn’t date that man? It is US! He can not be that controversial, please, it is HW after all, anything is possible! I do believe that Aniston is fake, and that for her public image she needed man by her side because of all desperate covers about her! But than again, she asked that a long time ago, and now she is living her dream story - poor jen.
Naomi: There has always been a double standard for age differences and it is gender biased. It seems a man can date a woman many years younger or older and it is accepted.
Look at Michael Douglas and C. Zeta Jones; now there is a real age difference.
Twelve years is really not that big of a difference, and I do resent that woman are held to a different standard in society. But I think that we are making progress in acceptance of women dating men that are younger….look at Diane Lane and Josh Brolin….look at Susan S. and Tim Robbins….some couples are great examples that age does not matter.
This showmance does not reflect the positive slant on age difference, maybe because it is Maniston, and I have a jaded view of her in that I don’t think that she does anything without seeing what the “gain” will be for her.

If history could tell as something is that every controversial man or woman is not affraid of their public image! They are controversial because they are different than others, have different opinion about normal things or rules, and because of that they are capable of arousing controversy and bringing attention. That is way this “husband” story doesn’t sound true to me. When I read about how aniston described how she corrected her German Shepperd that chew on her shoe, (and after the corrective she applied, now the dog would think twice before doing that again), it reminded me of John Mayer and how she said: “Trust me, you’ll never see that happen again from that man.”

I think they actually make a hot couple. He seems like a big douche, and she’s a bit bland…but they look good together. She seems to always have had a thing for douches, though…just look at her history.
Jennifer is actually looking better and better, and you people that say that she looks old for a woman her age are NUTS! Look at most 40-yr olds, they don’t look like she does - she looks really, really good!
