Whitney Port in ‘The City’ — PREVIEW PICS
The Hills star Whitney Port is premiering her own reality show spin-off on MTV called The City. We’ll see the 23-year-old career girl rubbing shoulders with socialites and working her new job at Diane Von Furstenberg.
Check out this new promo pic of Whitney in New York’s Meatpacking District with her City pals Olivia Palermo (left) and Erin Lucas (right).

I actually think she’s smart and will go far in this city. To her, I say “Good Luck” I hope she proves me right. She’s going to be working for DVF, so she has to have a mind, cuz Diane doesn’t strike me as the kind of woman that tolerates knuckleheads.
This show should be enjoyable to watch….she seems to be the only one of the Hills people that does have some brains besides being rather beautiful.
I wish her the best and look forward to someone rather “green” trying to make it in the NYC fashion arena.

Whitney is totally dull. And she’s not even that good looking. I bet Olivia will steal all the scenes. She’s the prettiest and most interesting of the three. I will only watch the show because Olivia is in it. If she wasn’t on the show, I wouldn’t tune into The City.

but i’m not into reality shows and i’m probably the only one who has never seen an episode of the hills, laguna beach, or any of those reality shows mtv has.

Little background on Olivia. She has been widely publically ridiculed among her debutantee peers in NYC. She is very much despised by the NY set and is seen as desperate for attention and fame. And, she’s not too bright, so the gossip goes. She was in a big scandal with a now defunct website that ridiculed Olivia mercilessly.

kit9 you are exactly right…the first thing i thought of was sharon tate. too bad because sharon tate seemed like a beautiful person inside and out and this girl does not, we will see!
