Reese Witherspoon to Jake Gyllenhaal: Happy Birthday!
Reese Witherspoon and Jake Gyllenhaal share a romantic dinner to celebrate Jake’s 28th birthday on Friday (Demceber 19) at Italian restaurant Il Ristorante di Giorgio Baldi in Santa Monica, Calif.
The couple enjoyed wine, champagne and a special birthday dessert treat.
Jake will next be seen in Prince of Persia: Sands of Time, out in 2010. He’ll play Dastan, a young prince in sixth century Persia who must join forces with Tamina (Gemma Arterton), a feisty and exotic princess, to prevent a villainous nobleman from possessing the Sands of Time, a gift from the gods that can reverse time and allow its possessor to rule the world.

I’ve never gotten the attraction of Reese Witherspoon - she’s always seemed very, very fake to me. And i have still not forgiven her for stealing that Best Actress winner away from Felicity Huffman who deserved every award possible for her award in Transamerica. I’ve always thought Jake Gyllenhaal is kind of an ******* too - fake and totally in love with himself. But i wish them every happiness in the PR-whoring world. I give them another 6 months, tops.
by the way, Jared - on wikipedia it says Jake’s middle name is Benjamin, not Dylan
Reese looks radiant, she looks happy too. Too bad Ryan wasn’t a happy and supportive husband to her. It’s good they remain friends for the kids’ sake. I knew her and Ryan wouldn’t last, they look like they were meant to be only friends.

My question is how in the world did the know they were going to this restaurant. And they couldn’t have been taking these pics inside the restaurant so there must have been a window they were taking these pics through. SO why would you take your boyfriend out on his birthday and be seated in front of a window when you KNOW the paps are dogging your every move.
I know if I were dating a celeb I’d want privacy especially on a birthday. So I’d have to say this is for PR.
And where is Jake’s sister? They used to hang out together. Now they don’t spend time for each other’s birthdays? (I know he was working when it was her birthday in Nov but where is she for his birthday now? I think there might be a rift between them cause of this Blonde *****

I’m not a fan of Reese. She’s so boring. But i like Jake, who was better looking when he was with Kirsten Dunst. Anyway, they look happy, so… why not, hum?

Jake and Reese made sure to sit facing the window - they wanted good paparazzi pictures.
Looks like Jake had to work on his birthday too. Once he got done with the obligatory birthday in with the beard photo shoot, I hope he got to go home and enjoy his birthday with his family and friends. It’s good that Reese is consistent and always calls her personal pap agency, Flynet, to arrange all of their PR photo ops. But, Reese isn’t aging well, she should seriously consider hiring a full time stylist and make up artist to live with her.
Is that really Reese Witherspoon..because the woman in these pics with Jake, looks haggard…This woman looks about 50 years old in that corner inserted pic…seriously..if it is her, somebody should get sued for releasing these pics..

Jake and Reese were being laughed about on my local radio station the other day. They were saying it was his birthday and he had asked her to marry him four times and she kept saying no because she actually wanted to marry someone who likes girls. These two are a huge JOKE.
They are so low key they went and ate in front of a window with a crowd of paparazzi in front of the place. Jennifer Aniston should take lessons from Reese.
I agree with Pinkydoo…does reeesy have extensions? her hair has been much shorter in other recent events like the children’s defense fund.
