Angelina Jolie Covers Germany’s Comopolitan
Angelina Jolie takes the January 2009 cover of Germany’s Comopolitan. Interview highlights as follows:
On finding time for her family, acting career and commitment as a UN ambassador: “Well, I do take my time outs. And most of all I do receive support from Brad [Pitt]. We are a good team. That is important to me and gives me strength… I cannot sit quietly while others die of hunger and children. My commitment for the United Nations I do not want to abandon. The play has no greater priority. In February, I still turn a movie, then I suppose one years off.”
On surviving each day without a nervous breakdown: “I’m very disciplined. I have a balanced diet and among other things I do Pilates. If I’m fit I feel more comfortable and I do have a lot more energy.”
On playing the role of a mother in Changeling, whose son disappears without a trace: “Just the idea of such a possibility made me go completely crazy. Initially, I wanted to cancel it. But the strength and self abandonment of this woman made be accept the role.”

Has not seen CCOBB yet. Oh I can’t wait. Thanks for all the reviews. I could care less how the dog movie does. I just want CCOBB to do better than expected.
I just watched C Rose. Very good interview. Darn Brad looked great. Even the mustache looked quite good.
*Have not
Thanks Jill. I will see BB Saturday. BTW, have you seen Doubt and what is your take? I was gonna see it, but I read somewhere it received bad reviews. Can’t remember what site or mag.
Someone help Lynn!
Marley and Me budget $52 million.
CCOBB budget $150 million.

I haven’t seen Doubt yet but I’m intrigued because of the cast and it’s got a terrific plot. It’s doing 75% on rottentomatoes.com so it should be pretty good.
As of Thursday 9:45pm:
MAM $15 million in 3480 theaters
CCOBB $11 million in 2988 theaters
I am so glad Brad’s movie did much better than expected and did better than dog movie per screen.

Don’t forget to factor in the overseas box office once the movie is released abroad. Brad Pitt’s movies earn even more overseas than they do in America. Aniston is nobody overseas and won’t earn much in the foreign market.
Ohmygawd, no wonder the thread is slow again. Jared has those dumb ads all around the sides. I kept wondering why is it moving so slowly all of a sudden? That’s why.
I am so jealous of you who went to see BB today. I am one of those persons who likes to go on the first day a movie opens to show support. I might not get there until Saturday or Sunday. Heck it might even be Monday.
I am going to try and make a break of it. I just don’t want to get stuck in the darn slush.
There is one scene in the previews that I think is so sexy. I think BB is rushing toward Daisy. They embrace and he lifts his left leg as he embraces her. I haven’t seen the movie, but that looks so sexy.
That article from the, is it the LA Times, is so revealing. Brad can say a lot while appearing to say little. Pray that your cyber friend can dig out and go see BB. Good night ladies.
Jared, please remove the side ads so the thread will move faster. Peace
CCOBB made $11 million.
Great news about BB. It did much better than predicted for today. I am going to see it this sunday.
Brad will beat x at worldwide box office.

Marley and Me budget $52 million.
CCOBB budget $150 million.
>>>>>>>>>>
CCOBB has been nominated for a clutch of awards, called a modern classic.
M&M has 0.
And wait till the foreign bo numbers arrive.
X may beat Brad in the US, but Brad will beat X at worldwide box office.
Nikki from deadlinehollywood’s estimate is too high. Her estimates always are. Go to Steve Mason’s site for more accurate numbers.
He has the dog movie at $13.9
Benjamin Button at $11.1

All time best Christmas openings:
1. Marley and Me
2. Curious Case of Benjamin Button
3. Ali
4. Catch Me if you can
Great numbers for CCOBB if those numbers hold. As someone wrote the CCOBB is 3 hours plus when add in trailers. Thus it can’t show as many times a day as MM or Bedtimes Stories. Plus it is not in as many theaters.
Re the budgets someone posted. I would get MM and T Cruise movie paid for 5 to 10 times more ads than CCOBB. I know both movies sponsor college football and professional football halftimes etc plus MM sponsor an ESPN show. So don’t hang your that budget.
I am surprised that Tom Cruse’s movie did as well as it did in number 4 spot.
GO SEE BRAD’S MOVIE!!!!!!!!!!!!
Just a reminder. I know it’s late but
CCOBB comes out in Australia Dec 26 …………….Today. Right now.
National Post Canada has an interesting article, it is very long, I just post the link, hope it is not a repeat.
