Angelina Jolie takes the January 2009 cover of Germany’s Comopolitan. Interview highlights as follows:
On finding time for her family, acting career and commitment as a UN ambassador: “Well, I do take my time outs. And most of all I do receive support from Brad [Pitt]. We are a good team. That is important to me and gives me strength… I cannot sit quietly while others die of hunger and children. My commitment for the United Nations I do not want to abandon. The play has no greater priority. In February, I still turn a movie, then I suppose one years off.”
On surviving each day without a nervous breakdown: “I’m very disciplined. I have a balanced diet and among other things I do Pilates. If I’m fit I feel more comfortable and I do have a lot more energy.”
On playing the role of a mother in Changeling, whose son disappears without a trace: “Just the idea of such a possibility made me go completely crazy. Initially, I wanted to cancel it. But the strength and self abandonment of this woman made be accept the role.”

Brad’s most underrated actor in HW, that’s for sure. He wasn’t nominated for the last 13 f/king years. After the work he is doing in NOla, I can see the academy would love, at least, nominated him.

Obama Tops Gallup’s Annual ‘Most Admired’ List; Hillary Beats Palin, Oprah

Washington, D.C. (AHN) - President-elect Barack Obama is currently the man Americans admire the most in the world, while Secretary of State-designee Hillary Clinton retains the top spot among women for the seventh year in a row, a new poll said on Friday.
According to the annual Most Admired USA Today/Gallup poll, 32 percent of Americans admire Obama the most among all other men in the world. President George W. Bush ranks a far second, with 5 percent, while Sen. John McCain (R-AZ) is at third with 3 percent.
Pope Benedict XVI, Rev. Billy Graham and former president Bill Clinton all tie for fourth place at 2 percent each, followed by former Secretary of State Colin Powell, Nelson Mandela and Bill Gates. In tenth place with 1 percent is Tibet’s spiritual and political leader, the Dalai Lama.
Obama is the first president-elect to rank first in the list since Dwight Eisenhower in 1952. His rating is also the second-highest ever in the poll’s history, surpassed only by Bush’s 39 percent in the aftermath of the 9/11 attacks. Bush, whose job approval rating at the time was at 86 percent, leaves office after seven years as the poll’s most admired man in his two-term presidency.
Bush was admired the most by only 5 percent of Americans when he was president-elect in 2000, ranking fourth in the poll. His father, former President George H. W. Bush, ranked third with 9 percent in 1988. Clinton was in second place at 15 percent in 1992.

Wow, Angie is in good company!
Obviously, I am an Angie fan. I am happy when she’s recognized or acknowledged be it in awards or polls/ lists or anything positive. I also respect her choices in life including Brad. What makes her happy, is ok with me. Since they are a couple, the success of one is the success of another. I’ll not see Angie & Brad as competitors of each other, rather as great supporter because they love each other.

Good morning and hope everyone enjoyed yesterday. I saw CCOBB at 7:00pm yesterday in a 600 seat theater. The only seating available was directly in front of the screen on the floor. I can’t say I cried but I was certainly moved, and had more than one laugh, and I thought Mr. Pitt gave a brilliant performance. He was the movie!
Many have commented on the chemistry between Cate and Brad, and in my opinion, I didn’t feel it. Yes, they were certainly warm, but it is nothing like the electricity you see when you watch MAMS, which captivated everyone and started the B&A phenomena. And while her performance is good in this film (with the exception of any of her hospital scenes, IMO), it can not compare to the performance and emotional ride you take with Angie in Changeling.
Also, I believe PT commented earlier about seeing the trailer for Revolutionary Road: I agree with her observation and my thought was ‘its a Debbie Downer’ and won’t get my b*tt in a seat.
I enjoyed this movie and will probably try to see it again before the end of the year and will recommend it to my friends and family. CCOBB should have legs for many weeks to come!

He is not hurting Angie and Angie is not hurting him, infact she has enriched his life in so many ways. In the past, he was only known for his looks and not his acting ability, now he is known worldwide for his charity work which Angie helped him achieve by paving and showing him how to do it, He plays great parts now and is widely recognised for them and stands a better chance of taking home an Oscar next year for the first time than he has ever had. Brad and Angie are one, a unit you cannot love one and hate the other unless you have ulterior motive. You love one you love them them — simple. If Sharon is looking for a boyfriend she is living in fantasy land, get a life and find yourself a real boyfriend. Brad is above your league and if you are a teenager he is too old for you. He is a family man, same applies to those fantasising about Angie. Get a life!

Trolls & haters reacted “violently” re Brad’ latest interview. Maybe they reacted this way because they didn’t expect HARSH WORDS (for them) would come out from Brad’s mouth. Actually, only this time, Brad’s words are very explicit. Direct to the point. No beating around the bush. Statements like these:

There’s no one to blame but X herself because she underestimated Brad. She should have known better as she once lived with him. Or maybe she really didn’t know him that well considering they didn’t exactly live together as a married couple but just a Merger. She knew the real story yet she kept on telling lies to the public & even tried to besmirch the reputation of the person whom Brad considered the greatest love of his life (not just the love of his life as opposed to X public declaration in the past that Brad was only “A love of her life” not even “The love of her life”).
