Ashley Tisdale - “Shape” Magazine January 2009
High School Musical starlet Ashley Tisdale shows off her fabulous figure on the January 2009 cover of Shape magazine. Here are some interview snippets from the 23-year-old actress:
On always being petite: “I was always super thin — too skinny, actually. I felt like someone could break me in half.”
On her big motivator, personal trainer Christopher Hebert: “He’s cute, which makes it fun, and he never lets our exercise session get boring.”
On her guilty pleasure foods: “I love carbs. Bread, corn bread, french fries—all that stuff.”
On eating healthy: “I’ve found I’m definitely eating better since I started working out more rigorously. It kind of happened naturally. I don’t really crave junk food that often now.”

dont assume that everybody here who hates ashley loves vanessa. i happen to be indifferent, but i really dont like this girl. shes fake all over, esepcially in this photoshoot. that is NOT her body. in real life, shes completely flat and has NO curves, just skin and bones and its NOT attractive. apparently they dont think so either, otherwise they wouldnt have given her a body thats not even her own!

Alright, I know many don’t care for her (me) but you’re lying if you say she looks ugly on that cover. It may or many not be photoshopped, but she actually looks damn good….

I hate to say it, but Ashley fans are right. We shouldn’t be hating on Ashley, we should be pittying her. The magazine asked her to do this photoshoot because they wanted her body, yet they completely change it in editing and she still manages to come out looking disgusting. That has got to be embarassing. But if we’re being honest here, Ashley never really had the body, or the face, to grace the cover of any magazine. She’s one of those people who’s not meant to be seen…or heard.

Can we say photoshopped? Open you’re eyes people the picture in the video and the picture we see now are completely different. She’s normally a stick, yet here, for some reason, she has boobs and curves and a toned stomach. The lighting’s off in a few places (the top half of her body is much brighter than the bottom) and her body, shoulders and head are all disporportional. Plus you can’t see the layers of make-up that are usually caked onto her face, nor laugh lines (and those are always there).
What I think is absolutely ridiculous about this whole thing though is that while Ashley is being praised for posing in just a bikini, Vanessa would be called many awful names from now until next year by the same Ashley fans applauding Ashley. Totally hypocritical. But then again, I’m not surprised. The only time Vanessa does something right to Ashley fans is when Ashley copies and does the same thing Vanessa did right after.
