OlderSuri Cruise is a Chapstick Champion
Katie Holmes and her daughter Suri, 2, fall into The GAP to do some last-minute Christmas shopping on the eve of Christmas Eve on Tuesday (December 23) in New York City. Upon leaving, Suri was seen applying some cherry chapstick onto her lips.
Katie’s final performance of All My Sons is January 11, 2009 (the same day as the Golden Globes). Husband Tom Cruise is nominated for Best Supporting Actor for his work in Tropic Thunder but unfortunately, Katie won’t be joining him on the red carpet.
Katie’s rep, Ina Treciokas, says, “Katie’s decided to stay and her do last show. She won’t be going with Tom to the Globes. The cast of All My Sons has been like a family and they want to end it together.”

I just find it suspicious, #68. It’s so convenient. I never said I disbelieved them though. Just that I’m rightly skeptical.

Don’t you think it’s a contradiction that Cruise is a master manipulator yet you always claim you can see through his manipulations? If he was a master, you;’d be fooled.
He wasn’t ranting. he can’t help the way he laughs and doesn’t act like God.
What has Holmes done to make her look vapid and inane? Wear clothes you disagree with? Shopping rather than attending charity events?
Yes. Lots of discussion and….NO EVIDENCE! Not a single piece of evidence that she didn’t run. Suspicion alone isn’t good enough. So it really wouldn’t matter what I thought.
Why do you keep asking where her parents are, #71? She spends time with her parents all the time. Just check the archives.
I have no idea why her stepdaughter and mother-in-law don’t hang out with Holmes. Maybe they just don’t have anything in common. It’s probably something simple like that rather than some absurd reason that you’re likely cooking up.

I have thought some of the same things that you mentioned. Like for instance, Katie looks 20 yrs. older than she did just 3 yrs. ago. I know how stress and worry can really age someone. Katie looked 17 yrs. old in 2005, and today in 2008 she looks late 30’s early 40’s. She still is a lovely woman, but she has lost a certain vibrance and youthfulness about herself! There seems to be something very sad and lost with her! (these are my personal observations)
I just sense that Katie is very unhappy. I am sure that she does not want to lose suri, so she has alot of serious thinking to do. And my heart does go out to her. Because I think everyone knows that Tom will not give up without a major fight!
