Why can’t we wish Zac and Vanessa the best and much happiness? NOBODY knows and can say they will break up just because of their ages or because it seems like everyone breaks up in the long run. How horrible it would be if they have to hear all the time about their soon-to be demise from knuckleheads. Find out what people who have worked with Zac and Vanessa say about these two fine young people. And take note how both of them value and spend time with their families. Since Zac and Vanessa are so young and just really getting started we cannot say where they will be in 20 years so there is no need to judge their careers at this point. But if they are still going strong in Hollywood in 20 years I’m sure they will not be upset if people still remember them for being part of the phenomena known as HSM.

I loved the old Disney movies as well and I’m eternally grateful Zac and Vanessa were not Disney series stars. I think that helped them to be themselves more and resist the need to conform to a certain mold.

I also agree not being identified with the series would help them shed the image more.
Case in hand, Hilary Duff is successful but is still struggling to shed her image because she was a series star.
On the other hand, Anne Hathaway started with the Princess Diaries and some other family friendly movies but now it’s hard for people to associate her with Disney, she’s a bona fide mainstream actress.

That’s what I would like for Vanessa and Zac as well.

Naomi, Ann Hathaway is a good example of a young star whose career took off as a result of a Disney movie. She is so far beyond that now, but I’m sure she’s grateful that Disney took a chance on her. She’s made good career choices, and even took a risk on Brokeback Mountain.

I’m sure Zac and Vanessa will always be grateful to Disney, for so many reasons. I’m not saying they will never work on another DIsney project again….who knows? Even Adam Sandler is in a current DIsney project, and Patrick Dempsey did “Enchanted” last year. But I think we’re all excited about them moving on to more adult projects!!

I don’t visit the JJ Jr. site, but I hear rumblings that Vanessa looks sad. And because Vanessa looks sad that is validation that she and Zac have ended their relationship. What a strange concept.

I can assure the little girls who are worried, Zac and Vanessa have not broken up, as you call it. He has not “dumped” her nor has she “dumped” him.

The two of them have a stronger, more mature relationship than any other couple in the movie business.

From when I first checked JJ Jr., It appears to be a site with young Disney kids. At least most of the threads were youthful people I don’t recognize or know what they do.

I know you won’t answer that question For Real. Please don’t answer questions about their personal lives…I know you won’t, but we want to honor that as well. I love them together, but i am more concerned with their careers making them what they are. Thanks for being the voice of calm around here.

For Real on this thread on this page seems different in how they write and things. don’t wnat to say it isn’t the real For Real but there is some doubt for me. someone might want to pose since more than one has called For Real the voice of calm so whoever would post under that moniker would think the comment is fact without questioning it.

I don’t mind him posting about personal stuff, but Karen, there are some things that should not be posted. Time with his family and where he has been is obviously personal to him, I don’t think we need to know any of that. If he wanted us to know as fans, he would tell us. It should be enough for us as fans, that we know they are okay. that makes me happy. I’m not going to be obsessed and feel I need to know the details. However, I have always felt that For Real honors their privacy and respects them. As far as I know, he/she has never stepped across the line.

Well, we complained highly about Vanessa and Zac being on JJJ for quite a while and the whys and the wherefores of that and then it looked like JJ finally got the message. Plus, when he started posting several things about both of them here he could clearly see the hits the threads got but now once again he has pushed them back to the kiddie site. But I guess he wants to keep that site going as by far Zac and Vanessa get far more hits than anyone else there including Miss Cyrus and the JoBros. With the popularity of the above mentioned kids you’d think they could pull in enough posters for JJJ and JJ could leave Zac and Vanessa here where they rightfully belong. All during the year last year they proved to be among the favorite—certainly more so than Suri Cruise or her parents.

i would think brenda song has thousands of young fans who watch the suite life of zac and cody show.

and a lot of the young kids who call vanessa names do so because she is in a long term relationship. they naturally assume she and zac are intimate and label her with the S and W words. kind of naive of them since they don’t attach any label to zac for the same thing. i thought this new generation of kids would get past the double standard. guess not.

I don’t think its only teens and tweens who post negative comments about Vanessa. I believe i most are adults. The haters are usually in the following catagories

1) Those who hate ALL celebrities. They post hateful comments on everyone. It doesn’t matter who the celebrity is.

2) Those who hate anyone who is not “blond hair and blue eyed”

3) Those who hate women. I noticed that the most vile hateful comments are usually directed at female celebrities.

I also agree with pop86. Women seem to be held to a much higher standard —always have been—even in today’s world. Who took more hits Brad or Angelina when they got together and who is made to look worse even now in that situation? It does seem there are more lethal things said by the adults. Look at the JJJ site, most of those comments are one-liners. Kids find it harder to go into detail about their feelings.

vancrazed: yes, I was going to say the only other young celebrity who seems to generate a lot of notice is Brenda Song but I just didn’t mention it since at the time JJJ first started she wasn’t getting that many threads. I think when JJ sees she pulls them in that will change, however. I would like to see her be able to get away from the tween catagory also as I have always thought she was very talented. Even she gets more hits most of the time than Ashley.

true vancrazed, we love to see Van and Zac move on to other projects that showcase their talent, versatility and appeal to a wider and mature audience. and what is great about Van is that she is recognized for her style and taste in clothes that appeal to women, young and not so young. hopefully we will see more of her in magazine covers.

I noticed that JJ is also double posting in both the main board and in JJJ to satisfy fans, young and not so young posters. But I agree that major undertakings and projects of Zac and Van should be in this main board.

I think they’re going skiing, too. Somewhere. I’ve thought that ever since I saw those Dior after-ski boots. Utah is a great place to ski.

I’m not sure if they would go to Kaycee’s wedding. It’s really her day and their presence would upstage her.

I don’t doubt for a minute Zac and Vanessa would WANT to be at Kaycee’s wedding and if a all possible they would go. But I’m also sure they would never want to do anything to upstage it in any way. It must be a very difficult decision for them to make and for them to be there it will take some extra work on Kaycee and Ben’s to try to prevent a crazy situation.

It would have been great to see them at Palm Springs, last year was awesome. I doubt they’ll go though, since they’re not linked to any of the award winners. They are not the sort of couple that like showing up at any event for the sake of being seen.

I agree with Karen, I think they would want to go to Kaycees wedding but would hate to draw any attention to themselves. If they did go, they might try to slip in like they did for the MTV movie awards and slip out again.

I have a feeling Kaycee might invite People mag to her wedding so she’ll need to have an understanding with them not to give undue attention to ZV. I think she would have taken all these into consideration in planning for the wedding.

I can’t wait for them to head of to Japan so we get some official pictures.

Naomi, I thought the same thing about Kaycee opening up the ceremony to someone like People magazine as she has spoken to them before about her engagement, etc. Who knows, maybe if People would want this story enough—especially with Zac and Vanessa would come—they would help Kaycee and Ben with security so the paps would not “crash” it.

A new picture of Zac on another site–GG. It’s only one pictures that they have cropped and posted four times. From the way he’s posing with the little girl, I’d say the picture was taken by a fan and then sold to INF Daily. Because Zac wouldn’t pose that way for a paparazzi.

In the latest post of Zac on JJ Jr, he says that Nikki says that Zac is going to do HS2.

I don’t understand why Nikki is speaking for Zac and saying that he is going to do HS2 when he hasn’t said that he’s going to do it. I think she mentions his name so that she can get hits on the Internet. Really sad that she’s that desperate.

About Nikki, I think this is the last post I’m going to ever make about her (hopefully):

I really think we, the Zac and Van fans, should begin to ignore her and whatever publicity she is trying to generate. She really is a non-issue where Zac and Van are concerned. They blissfully go about their lives individually and together apparently unaware of her existence irrespective of her public blabbings and I think that’s how her fans should approach her and her fans.

She has become a staple on JJ because ZV fans react to her blabbings and that of her fans, thereby raising her profile.
Has anyone noticed that only JJ posts about her? Other blogs do not because she does not generate any interest except she mentions Zac and gets a reaction from ZV fans, so perversely, we’re playing her game as long as we continue to react to her and her fans.

We give her hits when we click on her thread or visit her fansites so she’ll need to keep saying these things to get the hits. Celebs that do stuff like that are a dime a dozen, I don’t see why she should get any special attention.

She’s not the only actress in HS. I don’t see why she should be mentioned when HS is being discussed or anything about ZV. Brittany and Amanda are closer to ZV, we know that because we’ve seen them hanging together recently. The whole world pretty much knows that ZV are a committed, low-profile couple, if there’s anything to dig out about them, it would have been dug out.

Nobody, not even the tabloids and ragazines are buying the story of her being close to Zac. She keeps volunteering info about him but everyone stubbornly refuses to pick it up i.e apart from ZV fans.

So though she can be pretty irritating, and her fans more than obnoxious, it’s what we’ve come to expect from them and we’ve got to steel ourselves to ignore them and go about supporting ZV like she doesn’t exist.

I avoid anything that has to do with her name not because I dislike her (I don’t) but I know that I’ll find anything she says irritating anyway, and why should I give her hits and attention when I’m not a fan and have no respect for her.

I just believe that if we refuse to rise to the bait and stay away from anything related to her she’ll fade back to just being noticed by her fans and we would be spared the sight and sound of her.

Naomi, JJ has been trying to post that story under Nikki, both here and JJJ and it has not taken a lot of hits. People are not (so much) interested in her. So, guess what, JJ post that story again this time with Zac as the headliner. People are now commenting on this story in JJJ.

As agreed, I will only post in Zac and Van’s thread. If I must venture to JJJ, it is to direct them that we are still camping here.

I rarely go to her threads. A few comments I have made on her sites are strictly about the incident with Bianca Golden and and had nothing to do with Zac.

There are times I wish to point out a few facts that people seem to overlook as I did on the new Zac thread on JR—something that I hate to do as I don’t believe Zac or Vanessa should be on that site and I hate giving hits there. But one thing I wanted to point out on the new Zac thread about Nikki is didn’t it seem strange that although both Zac and Nikkie were at the MTV awards and Zac won due to his role in HS—and he RESPECTFULLY acknowledged Nikki while accepting his award and she as her loud mouth self shouted out how she loved him—did NOT have even ONE picture together with with Vanessa in it? I thought that was quite telling about just how close he actually is to Ms Blonsky. Also, I wished to point out that even though he may have said he would love to do it again (the movie) he could have said that before he had to listen to her use his name a million times in interviews, etc. Maybe his feelings have changed or maybe he was just referring to the fact he would love to work with icons like Walken, Travalta, Queen Latifa, etc, again. OR perhaps it was a nice safe thing to say to name a few options as to his remarks. But overall I don’t wish to give Nikki any more notice either.

Boy, J really knows how to get the hits. It is amazing to me that one pic with a fan that has been cropped 4 times can get over a hundred hits because he adds some stupid sentence about Hairspray. How sad. I am glad that we haven’t officially heard anything about this yet.
Although I believe that Zac is a very loyal person, i also want to believe that he knows that this point in his career is very fragile. I don’t think he believes that he needs to do another musical at this time. SAying that you would love to do it, is very different that saying that you will. I guess we will see where it goes.
I find it funny though how riled up the tweeny fans got over this. Their comments are hilarious. Almost as funny as some of them calling Vanessa ugly on her post because she wasn’t wearing any makeup. I am so glad that the plan of posting over here has worked. Maybe JJ will catch on,and bring over some mature responsible news about these two to a more mature fanbase.

I agree with the comments you all are sharing - I too do not like to go to JJJ because Vanessa and Zac belong on the “main board” and I do not open anything with Nikki on it, not that I don’t like her as an actress, but I think she is using Zac’s name for her own publicity and I think JJ is partaking in that as well to get hits on his board.

I too am just ignoring her and not opening anything associated with her and that is a shame for her but she can’t “let go” can she?

Malia, I couldn’t agree more. He has really given himself a jump ahead with 17Again, MAOW. I don’t want to see him go backwards. Yet, I also have heard him say he would love to get into Marine Biology. As much as I would hate for him to leave the movie making scene. Everything he has ever said and done has proven that he just feels really lucky, and he is going to ride this wave as long as he can. But if the right roles aren’t coing along and things dry up, he is the kind of guy that will make something happen for himself. Not sit back and sulk. I hate to say it, because i want him around for a long time (and I don’t feel we have anything to worry about), but I do feel that HS2 would be a major step backward for him.
Let’s hope his advisors are telling him that, I feel they are, and he is a smart guy. For all the waiting out he did for HSM3 even, he wanted to make sure the script was right, and we all know how important that was to him. We have to just believe in his choices. It think he’ll do the right thing…he is a smart guy.

Well, Zac said in one of his interviews when he was in Australia that he hadn’t “committed” to Footloose yet. I’ll see if I can find the interview.
