Zac Efron & Vanessa Hudgens Hit Up Barney’s

not tryiing to cause confusion but this is directed at For Real, didn’t you say in an earlier post that you do not go to any other site or post on any other site except just jared? For Real on this thread on this page seems different in how they write and things. don’t wnat to say it isn’t the real For Real but there is some doubt for me. someone might want to pose since more than one has called For Real the voice of calm so whoever would post under that moniker would think the comment is fact without questioning it.

I don’t mind him posting about personal stuff, but Karen, there are some things that should not be posted. Time with his family and where he has been is obviously personal to him, I don’t think we need to know any of that. If he wanted us to know as fans, he would tell us. It should be enough for us as fans, that we know they are okay. that makes me happy. I’m not going to be obsessed and feel I need to know the details. However, I have always felt that For Real honors their privacy and respects them. As far as I know, he/she has never stepped across the line.

Well, we complained highly about Vanessa and Zac being on JJJ for quite a while and the whys and the wherefores of that and then it looked like JJ finally got the message. Plus, when he started posting several things about both of them here he could clearly see the hits the threads got but now once again he has pushed them back to the kiddie site. But I guess he wants to keep that site going as by far Zac and Vanessa get far more hits than anyone else there including Miss Cyrus and the JoBros. With the popularity of the above mentioned kids you’d think they could pull in enough posters for JJJ and JJ could leave Zac and Vanessa here where they rightfully belong. All during the year last year they proved to be among the favorite—certainly more so than Suri Cruise or her parents.

i would think brenda song has thousands of young fans who watch the suite life of zac and cody show.

and a lot of the young kids who call vanessa names do so because she is in a long term relationship. they naturally assume she and zac are intimate and label her with the S and W words. kind of naive of them since they don’t attach any label to zac for the same thing. i thought this new generation of kids would get past the double standard. guess not.

I don’t think its only teens and tweens who post negative comments about Vanessa. I believe i most are adults. The haters are usually in the following catagories

1) Those who hate ALL celebrities. They post hateful comments on everyone. It doesn’t matter who the celebrity is.

2) Those who hate anyone who is not “blond hair and blue eyed”

3) Those who hate women. I noticed that the most vile hateful comments are usually directed at female celebrities.

I also agree with pop86. Women seem to be held to a much higher standard —always have been—even in today’s world. Who took more hits Brad or Angelina when they got together and who is made to look worse even now in that situation? It does seem there are more lethal things said by the adults. Look at the JJJ site, most of those comments are one-liners. Kids find it harder to go into detail about their feelings.

vancrazed: yes, I was going to say the only other young celebrity who seems to generate a lot of notice is Brenda Song but I just didn’t mention it since at the time JJJ first started she wasn’t getting that many threads. I think when JJ sees she pulls them in that will change, however. I would like to see her be able to get away from the tween catagory also as I have always thought she was very talented. Even she gets more hits most of the time than Ashley.

true vancrazed, we love to see Van and Zac move on to other projects that showcase their talent, versatility and appeal to a wider and mature audience. and what is great about Van is that she is recognized for her style and taste in clothes that appeal to women, young and not so young. hopefully we will see more of her in magazine covers.

I noticed that JJ is also double posting in both the main board and in JJJ to satisfy fans, young and not so young posters. But I agree that major undertakings and projects of Zac and Van should be in this main board.

well, Karen, there are other blogs and sites to visit aside from JJ now for any updates and sensible discussions on their projects and movies for 2009.

also, i don’t think JJ will post the latest lunch pics (Dec. 30) of these two as they were covering their faces. i think they are getting smarter outwitting the paps….

I know what you mean, Malia. I was enduring it for Van but that wasn’t helping her at all. I just feel relieved I don’t need to sit there anymore.

At least, ZV are considered enough of a threat to warrant that kind of envy. If it was really puppy love, people wouldn’t bother.
