Jennifer Aniston’s Christmas Eve Tradition: Dinner With Courteney Cox

Jennifer Aniston continued her annual Christmas Eve tradition by having dinner on Wednesday at Mastro’s Steakhouse in Beverly Hills with pals David and Courteney Cox Arquette and their 4-year-old daughter Coco. (Aniston is called “nouna” by Coco.)

Here’s what a source told People about the evening: “Jen and Courteney chatted non-stop Jen was also very sweet to Coco and the two giggled together… Jen usually gets steak, but she asked for fish instead and she ended up getting the sole and vegetables. Jen also had some white wine with her fish, while the rest of the table enjoyed steak. Courtney and David were also in a great mood and they acted very sweet to each other… Coco was walking around the restaurant without any shoes and when Courteney asked her where her shoes were, Coco said they were too tight and that she had to take them off. Both Jen and Courteney were smiling at her. Jen and Coco seem to have a very special bond and it was cute to watch Jen dote on Coco.”

Aniston’s musician boyfriend John Mayer was MIA.

I love how all these people are asking where Jen’s family is and they posted on a blog on Christmas.Shouldn’t you guys have been spending time with your family and not the internet ?

Also if you guys could ******* read you would have read it was a Christmas Eve NOT Christmas.Even if she was though who cares? Some people aren’t close to their families.

The hate you guys have for someone you don’t even know scares me.

I am glad Jen’s movie is doing great!!!!! That is awesome :)

I think it is fine that Jen spent the Holiday’s with her best friend and family. When you have a best friend, you consider them family, or at least I do.

We took in many people at our house this year who could not be with family. It was great! Nobody has to be family to celebrate with us!

okay

i sure you guys will give any reason just to cover for your loser idol. you make a big deal about a small differnce theater. if he is a super star he will be able to make it 1 one even if it open very few place.

And also. i am sure it cost a lot of money to make his moive, yet they open it less place becuase they figure out your idol need George clooney to be number one. ha ha ha

ower girl kick your user iodl ass. deal with it.

bet: You need not to write on these blogs anymore unless you have an American Dictionary at hand or learn how to spell properly. Just reading you crap makes my head hurt from all the poor language and mispellings.

spell check, please @ 12/26/2008 at 3:25 pm

“You” should be “your”.

See what I mean BET that mess made me mispell.

Marley & Me is a dog movie. Period. Chinnifer is only the 3rd leading person in that movie. The dog made that movie #1.

Lol, that dog made a hell of a movie. And of course on Christmas Day, with a bunch of kids around, you would go see a “feel good” movie with no intellectual value whatsoever. If you want an even better account, read the book, again, with the dog as the star lol.

Lol, I just watched the promo and it was like–”You’ll fall in love with Marley!” And all I saw was the dog causing hi-jinks.

Lol, y’all need to stop acting like this was a blow-out. It’s not the Dark Knight versus I Know Who Killed Me

=) Lol I have a smile on my face as I look forward to the coming weeks

and where be Mayer? Was he kicked out because he suggested they should go for a date night and watch TCOBB?

The mutt movie was marketed as a holiday movie, which was a smart move to promote it the first week, but not so smart to keep it going the second, third and fourth weeks, etc. People usually lose interest in holiday movies once the holidays are over.

CCOBB and Doubt were marketed as awards contenders which means they will probably continue to generate much buzz well into February. Both have multiple GG nominations and will probably pick up multiple SAG nominations, and there is already a lot of Oscar buzz for both movies. The mutt movie won’t be nominated for anything, except maybe an honorary acting award for the dog.

The mutt movie is doing well in the midwest and south but CCOBB is doing better on both coasts, where all the money is.

Once both movies hit the foreign screens, forget it. CCOBB will leave the mutt movie in the dust. Brad Pitt is enormously popular overseas, whereas outside of the USA and Great Britain, nobody could care less about Aniston.

Bottom line: the mutt movie will have a better holiday season, but CCOBB — and possibly Doubt as well — will end up making more money.

Mayer is Christmas-ing on the other coast, 3,000 miles away from Aniston, so Aniston had to attach herself like a barnacle to the Cox/Arquettes for yet another holiday. Why didn’t she spend Christmas with her family, or isn’t she speaking to any of them any more?

laura2..And keep repeating it to yourself too…. IT’S A DOG MOVIE. Now accept the fact

I am sorry, I am LMAO here. Before the movie hit, all the Brange fans said it was going to tank because of Jen. Now they say that Jen is not even a part of that movie, the dog is the one who made it go #1.

How pathetic!!!!! Is this killing them or what? Who cares, it is a movie for gosh sakes.

Jill, as a fan, I am just glad that it was a kick azz holiday movie!!!!

Good for Jen!

Well the “dog movie” (i don’t see a problem with that, btw) is still making more money than your idol’s awards nominee movie!
Not bad for “box office poison” like (you love to think) Aniston is…

Yes! So convenient, isn’t it??
Funny as hell!!

It is just too funny. They always come up with some wise crack. Always fun to check in just to see what they might come up with next!

looks closely at the faces of these 2 lovely ladies. these are old photos highlighting their sullen gaunt-looking faces. today, these two look fuller on the face - nothing to do with filler injections but more to do with cheek implants. i’ve just turned 40 …i’m gifting mysef “new cheek implants” after new year. hopefully, i hope to achieve the similar results…crossing my fingers.

Reading the book is better than the movie! Owen was miscasted and Jen looked too botox to display any acting skills. Disappointed that Jen and Owen didn’t age or get any wisdom with Marley over the years. The movie is dog **** awful!!

It’s nice that something finally went right for poor Jen. Maybe that helped warm up her Christmas a bit, which she evidently had to spend alone — again — while Mayer the player was off doing his thing on the opposite coast.

Meanwhile, what’s up with her movies? Traveling still doesn’t have a distributor, and Management finally picked up an indie distributor and according to imdb.com is opening on January 29 in Croatia, of all places. The release date schedule on imdb.com looks like this:

Croatia 29 January 2009
Iceland 24 April 2009
Netherlands 7 May 2009

Now if they really have faith in the film, why aren’t they releasing it in the US?

Between now and the end of February, CCOBB is being released in 20 countries overseas, while the mutt movie is being released in five.

HJNTIY is finally coming out on February 6, after having been postponed twice since last summer, so that should give you a little bit more to cheer about.

Forgot to add: maybe they are afraid to release Management in the US, after it bombed in Canada at the Toronto film festival.

Why is it always such a big competition between Jen, Ang and Brad? Get over it.

The “mutt movie” is doing great and that is all that matters. I am not going out to see it, love Jen but rarely go to movies. But I am happy that is doing well. I am not a bitter person. I hope TCCOBB does well too. Brad is not my favorite person anymore but I do not hope he movie BOMBS. How childish. Anyone who “thrives” on others bad luch is very unfortunate. Sad but true.

As for Mayer, all the Brange fans say that he was only with her to promote the mutt movie and he will be gone after that………so should we be surprised?
