Brad Pitt: Being With Angelina Jolie is a Natural Direction
Brad Pitt reveals just how much portraying the backwards-aging title character in The Curious Case of Benjamin Button has colored his perspective on his varied life. Sitting down with the L.A. Times, Brad shares new insights:
On age versus youth: “Once you hit 40, you start reexamining the math of it all… I’ll trade wisdom for youth any day.”
On finding real love: “It’s a tragedy in the sense that any love involves loss, and that’s the risk you take. And the greater the love, the greater the loss. I certainly feel that now with the woman I’m with, and the children that I have. But whatever the course may be, this time together is extraordinary.”
On how being with Angelina Jolie changed his life: “I had a whole other life and I got to experience a lot. And I probably got away with more than I should. And it kind of ran its course, you know, it kind of hit a dead end. [Fatherhood is] the direction I always thought I would go in. But not until, with Angie and it felt like a natural evolution, a natural direction.”
On his work as an actor: “I don’t have to grope as much for the character… I can get there quicker, so it’s not as much trial and error. Also, as I get older, more experiences, I’m more fine-tuned in what I’m after, what I think speaks in the piece. And lastly I want to hurry and get home to my kids.”

Daisy and the other idiots just can’t tear their eyes away lol. I also love how the haters try to become movie critics, with 20+ of critical experience, or the actors board, when they try to downplay this couples’ nominations and awards. Please get over yourselves.
I wonder how poor Jenny-poo likes being called a dead end… especially after spending Christmas alone while Mayer the player does his thing on the opposite coast…
I see the tabs Star, Us etc are trumpeting the fact that Marley beat CCOBB on Christmas day.I wonder what they will do if CCOBB overtakes Marley in the final weekend results

Brad sounds like he has been thinking about making a break for freedom sometime in the future.

Oh honey, you wish. Brad wasn’t talking about partners breaking up; he’s talking about death. He said making that movie made him focus on his own mortality and realizing that eventually everybody loses someone they love through death, and the more that person has been loved, the more it hurts to lose them.
My aunt was married to my uncle 64 years before he passed away five years ago. She still misses him.

Thank God some people benefited from courses that emphasized critical analysis
The haters are losing it. This will be their worst christmas. They didn’t think Brad will ever speak out because he kept quiet for so long while maniston kept attacking Angie at the delight of her fans and some media. Even maniston won’t know what hit her when she sees the interview today, she thought by praising Brad she will spear herself from any negative response or attack from Brad, well she was wrong because Brad and Angie are one, a unit, family and attack one you attack both. I am loving it that he has spoken out and any dimwit that didn’t get it before will get it now loud and clear.
Haters twist it all you can, you cannot change the fact he didn’t love maniston and he saw that relationship as dead end, fruitless wasted time, only came alive again when he met gorgeous Angie. What a way to end the year and shut down the haters comments, all that nasty spiteful coverages from the paps, trash tabloids and magazines. Going on air and declaring to the world his love for Angie and his children is the best christmas present for the fans.
Like you a lot now and God bless the Jolie-Pitts.

Lol I know. Her love life is a dead-end.
Surprise, surprise about a feel-good, kid friendly movie, with a story centered around an adorable dog being number one during a kid-oriented holiday. This is all so temporary lol.

I think they are going to have to eat their words, for three reasons:
1) The mutt movie was marketed as a holiday movie. It’s a good tactic to get them into the theaters during the holidays, but holiday movies usually don’t generate much interest once the holidays are over.
2) CCOBB is being marketed as an awards contender. It’s been nominated for several GGs, will probably be nominated for a bunch of SAGs and there is also a lot of Oscar buzz. This will keep fueling interest in the movie well into February, long after everybody is done talking about the mutt movie.
3) Once it hits the foreign theaters, it’s all over. Brad Pitt is extremely popular overseas, whereas nobody outside of Great Britain and the US gives a tin sh*t about Aniston.
You know as far as M&M winning the Christmas day box office receipts–it was a family movie that you could bring young children to and not worry about stuff-you know graphic sex, violence etc. The studio promoted the dog. So when parents asked kids what they wanted to see on Christmas day–of course they said the dog movie and it was a PG.
Brad’s movie did wonderfully and most likely will continue to do so. The real loser was Cruise and Valkyrie. Viewer ratings and reviews are not good. BB–viewer ratings and reviews are very good to excellent for the most part. Cruise had a lot more riding on Valkyrie than either JA or BP had. Although he had hoped for some award nominations, none have been forthcoming and the reviews have been pretty brutal for him as an actor in the role of the colonal. He also went all out on the publicizing of it–more so than he has done for a long, long time.
Button continues to garner great reviews and there is every possibility it may rule the weekend ratings since M&M is not getting great word of mouth.

They are sooo over. He started talking like that when he was married to Jennifer and a few months later they were done. I predict as soon as the awards are over with they will call it quits.

I predict that you will be choking and gagging on a big mouthful of crow. Swallow it down, honey. Swallow it ALL the way down and come back for seconds.
________
Lol, haters, you’ve been saying that for years and Brad is going to keep talking about his love for his family as the reporters constantly ask about it and he and Angelina will keep making babies.

You realize, don’t you, that most Aniston fans have the emotional maturity of a 12 year old or the intellect of a semi-bright orangutang.

Tissues and ‘Buttons’
“The Curious Case of Benjamin” is the best movie of 2008.
Tissues and ‘Buttons’
Thursday, December 25, 2008
Here’s the truth: I cried twice during “The Curious Case of Benjamin Button.” I’ve only cried during three other movies in my life: “Rudy,” “The Green Mile” and “Weekend at Bernies II.” (But I had my own issues going on during that last movie.)
Tears aside, “The Curious Case of Benjamin Button” is my favorite movie of the year. The story of a backward-aging man and all his little adventures tracing through the 20th century is ridiculously compelling. Credit strong source material: A short story penned by F. Scott Fitzgerald in the 1920s. Add spot-on performances by Pitt, who plays Button, as well as Cate Blanchett, who plays the ballerina who captures his heart. And finally, David Fincher’s direction is 180 degrees from his previous collaborations with Pitt – “Se7en” and “Fight Club.” The usually macabre moviemaker deftly creates a poignant and meloncaly tale without sociopathic undertones this time around.
Brad is telling the world that his life with the X sucked big time and that she stinks to the point that at some point he didn’t want to milk his blood with that fug ! Ultimate insult of a man towards a woman he probably loathes with a passion during the last years of that miserable merger.
-
Brad is telling the world that he found his ANGELina, that she and their kids are his EDEN on Earth and that life without them would means a bigger HELL than the one he lived with that chinnified witch !

Jeffery Lyons’ Movie Review
Story Updated: Dec 26, 2008
By Kristy Schiebel
The aging process does a ‘U-turn’ in the new Brad Pitt drama “The Curious Case of Benjamin Button”. The Springfield actor plays the title character, a man who continually grows younger.
As movie critic Jeffrey Lyons tells us, this is a movie you won’t want to miss.
Written by the same screen writer as “Forest Gump”, and taken from an F. Scott Fitzgerald story, “The Curious Case of Benjamin Button” is a sweeping, do-not-miss epic about one of the 20th century’s most amazing fictitious characters.
Born in New Orleans in 1918, Brad Pitt plays a man who, at birth began growing but aging in reverse. He was born with an old man’s body and aged backwards.
“The Curious Case of Benjamin Button” is in the mode of “Forest Gump” all right. A novel which absorbs you from first frame to last and it’s one of those rare movies which lives up to all the early hype.
In fact, it’s a sure Oscar nominee for Best Picture, title player Brad Pitt and supporting player Cate Blanchett.
I think you’re not likely to see a finer film this year.
andamentothat @ 12/26/2008 at 4:44 pm
That was a precious moment with little Shiloh. Besides being a great movie, BP has memories of his adorable daughter being in the movie.

Great list, and I hope Chinnifer’s fans would realize why X NEVER does overseas promotion for her movies. The last time she was overseas, was shortly before Pee-body and hers first break up, as she was chasing him around the world at one of his shows trying to make it work.
LOL Maniston is a dead end!
She is a pathetic loser who has to use her more famous ex and his great love to promote her movie. Oh and don’t forget her desperate nakkid magazine cover to promote a family movie about a dog. LOL. LOSER!

LOL if you’re going to get naked, do it for an Oscar!!
Geez you would think the hens would be more concerned with what is going on with Whiny and Peeboy than rehashing a 4 year old divorce. No wonder, Jen is selling the dog movie on the backs of BP and AJ. That is what her fans want to hear. They do not want to live in the present but look for hint, signs and vindication for the eternal victim. Whatever.
At least! (Assuming you’re someone that talented, which Chin never will be, sadly)
Please help me, if anyone knows whether any other media outlet picks this up. I am curious - I’m talking People, US etc or they will chicken out.
I like how VALKYRIE came in FOURTH btw. Loooool, where is Infamous?
=) Lol I have a smile on my face as I look forward to the coming weeks
#249 us weakly is sleazy @ 12/26/2008 at 5:24 pm…Then why bring the link here? Why would I want to ruin my holiday cheer reading that vile garbage?
Wow,the reviews for CCOBB are excellent.Even to top critic reveiws are good! Can’t wait to see it this weekend.
249. Why not post what the story is about rather than posting the link.
It’s just about X movies doinig better box office than Brad’s movie.
I’m certain Brad does not give a darn. The movie can come in third as long as it makes more than the studio or box office sites thought. Brad’s movie is on a whole different level than X’s.
All M&M success did was get more dog books and scripts sold.

In that case, she’d never have to get naked because she’s got a snowball’s chance in hell of ever being considered for one.
