OlderBrad Pitt: Being With Angelina Jolie is a Natural Direction
Brad Pitt reveals just how much portraying the backwards-aging title character in The Curious Case of Benjamin Button has colored his perspective on his varied life. Sitting down with the L.A. Times, Brad shares new insights:
On age versus youth: “Once you hit 40, you start reexamining the math of it all… I’ll trade wisdom for youth any day.”
On finding real love: “It’s a tragedy in the sense that any love involves loss, and that’s the risk you take. And the greater the love, the greater the loss. I certainly feel that now with the woman I’m with, and the children that I have. But whatever the course may be, this time together is extraordinary.”
On how being with Angelina Jolie changed his life: “I had a whole other life and I got to experience a lot. And I probably got away with more than I should. And it kind of ran its course, you know, it kind of hit a dead end. [Fatherhood is] the direction I always thought I would go in. But not until, with Angie and it felt like a natural evolution, a natural direction.”
On his work as an actor: “I don’t have to grope as much for the character… I can get there quicker, so it’s not as much trial and error. Also, as I get older, more experiences, I’m more fine-tuned in what I’m after, what I think speaks in the piece. And lastly I want to hurry and get home to my kids.”

That’s one of the things I wish they’d expounded on. Plus, a bit about his relationship with his “sister” would have been nice, but I know they obviously couldn’t put EVERYTHING in the movie. Maybe now they can do a movie about Benjamin and his sister! LOL! Somehow I doubt Brad will want to go through 5 hours of makeup for 5 months again…

When I saw his jealous facial expression, my mind went to his kids, Maddox, Pax, Zahara,Shiloh, I thought probably he mimicked their expression. You know kids get jealous of each other.
Re Queenie having a baby, i think that’s one of the reasons he left home so early. Also the way Q loved him unconditionally kinda reminded me of Mad, Pax and Zee Zee.

OMGosh all of the tidbits of info for the TCCOBB sound very interesting.
We will be seeing it as a family on New Years day.I liked Brads interview on the Charlie Rose show.
He said in very few words what we knew all along.
So the despertate one made a huge ordeal out of a marriage that had hit a dead end. Sneaky ***** she really whined her way around the truth for a number of yrs lapping up all the pity she could muster.
Manipulating HO! Did she actually think Brad was goning to go along with her lies forever. I guess so r else she doesn’t mind getting caught in lies.
Brad wasn’t being mean or manipulating it took a beautiful movie like TCCOBB to casually discuss his past life andf the desperate one gets caught dead on lying her face off. Sneaky Bitcch!

I also like the gesture of Queenie when Benjamin back home, the way of she opened her arms to welcome him back and hugged him is very funny. I mean Queenie is very funny. :lol:

2. After seeing The Curious Case of Benjamin Button I was almost certain it would be my number one film of 2008. I absolutely loved the story and got lost inside of it and before even writing my official review it inspired me to write two commentaries.
I am a huge fan of both director David Fincher and star Brad Pitt and neither of them disappoint. The score by Alexandre Desplat and cinematography by Claudio Miranda are captivating. The film runs 166 minutes and it felt like it lasted only 90. You can either try to dig deep into the meaning of Benjamin’s reverse aging or you can simply view it as a love story, either way there is so much to take away from this film I ultimately shocked myself when I ended up placing it at number two, but only one film can be my number one…

That’s a slap on X face who prioritizes youth over wisdom. She’s gonna hit 40 very soon but still has a mind of a girl not of a woman. And to all Jenfans who likes making comments on how “old” Brad looks in some pics, there you have it. Morons. Grow up all of you already. Wisdom and satisfaction in your fulfillments in life are more important as you age. And that’s Brad now. We can’t stay young forever.
hmmm I think the dog movie did 10 million more than BB in 700 more theaters and more playing time than the 3 hour BB. I know hens are bitter but at least try to count. However, it does not matter in the long run. The dog is a dog and will be gone in another week(i.e. the Beverly hills dog movie). BB will be around for a long time and is a classic. However, let the hens have their moment and vindication for the dog and the Whiny one.

The Curious Case of Benjamin Button — four stars. Sentimental and moving throughout. One of my favorites this year in so many ways — casting, scenery, costumes, music, make up. Based on a story by F. Scott Fitzgerald, Brad Pitt and Kate Blanchet star in this touching story about a man who is born old and dies an infant as his life is challenged by myriad circumstances and an unusual mix of characters.

Actually M&M did not do $20 mil more but $11,9678 domestically and $12,667 overall total. I wouldn’t compare the 2 movie as one is critically acclaimed and the other fluff. M&M is more comparable with Bedtime stories and BB with Valkyrie or seven pounds (maybe).
Sorry, if you expect any man to be nice to an ex that is trashing the mother of his children, the women he loves and sit back and say nothing or even more good things about her you have been hanging around the wrong men.
