OlderBrad Pitt: Being With Angelina Jolie is a Natural Direction
Brad Pitt reveals just how much portraying the backwards-aging title character in The Curious Case of Benjamin Button has colored his perspective on his varied life. Sitting down with the L.A. Times, Brad shares new insights:
On age versus youth: “Once you hit 40, you start reexamining the math of it all… I’ll trade wisdom for youth any day.”
On finding real love: “It’s a tragedy in the sense that any love involves loss, and that’s the risk you take. And the greater the love, the greater the loss. I certainly feel that now with the woman I’m with, and the children that I have. But whatever the course may be, this time together is extraordinary.”
On how being with Angelina Jolie changed his life: “I had a whole other life and I got to experience a lot. And I probably got away with more than I should. And it kind of ran its course, you know, it kind of hit a dead end. [Fatherhood is] the direction I always thought I would go in. But not until, with Angie and it felt like a natural evolution, a natural direction.”
On his work as an actor: “I don’t have to grope as much for the character… I can get there quicker, so it’s not as much trial and error. Also, as I get older, more experiences, I’m more fine-tuned in what I’m after, what I think speaks in the piece. And lastly I want to hurry and get home to my kids.”

Also….Joy Bahar on THE VIEW said that it took FOREVER for the DOG TO DIE in the movie!…(Barbara protested that she gave away the ending of the movie to the viewing public, though the audience didnt seem to mind, but Bahar said that everyone already knows the dog dies!)….hehe!
Barbara Walter also keeps saying the words…”..that obnoxious dog’ when referring to the movie….
I’m sure WAAANISTON’S public relations team is NOT happy. lol!

Brad Pitt must be losing some of his box office charm. TCCOBB cannot rise above third place at the box office. The movie goers must not find him as interesting as he and his loonie fans do.

Brad Pitt could be a surprise guest at tomorrow night’s People’s Choice Awards.
It’s not a very prestigious awards show, but I hear the Curious Case of Benjamin Button star is mulling over a possible appearance during CBS’ live telecast.
If it does happen, however, don’t look for him onstage at L.A.’s Shrine Auditorium…
I hear Pitt, who has been an awards-season favorite this year for his Benjamin Button work, would pop up in a pretaped segment. He was offered but apparently turned down the chance to be beamed in live via satellite, according to a source.
As for Angelina Jolie, I’m told she declined both a taped and satellite segment.
Hollywood’s most beautiful couple is expected at the Critics’ Choice Awards on Thursday followed by the Golden Globes on Sunday.

And I hate the potholes!!! My 19-year-old son drives right through them (what does he care, he’s got an old car), and I used to feel and bump up and down with each and every pothole along Lawrence, Montrose, and Irving Park avenues when he used to drive me to work. So now, I am just taking it easy, blogging all the time and doing household chores, and taking care of my sister’s dog.

Daisy was right, he was “perfect”!

BB did very well at the box office for the type and length of movie it is. Can’t compare it to a kiddie movie or an action movie like TDK. It won’t attract the young audience, because the young and very young can’t concentrate for a 3 hour film. It’s a beautiful movie that is best seen on the big screen. It’s a real cinematography treat. Don’t let your bias deprive you of an enjoyment. You only hurt yourself.
I am in vacationing in Paris and decided to log on…and boy nothing has changed since I last lurked on dec. 30th. I cannot figure out why do the trolls keep coming on a JP thread to talk cr@p when they can go on to X’s thread and blog all the garbage that they desire. You would think that their jealousy would evaporate with the old year and they would hop on JP’s side. What they do not realize is that no matter what, the Jolie-Pitts are here to stay and there is nothing they can do otherwise. All the hatred and bashing only makes them become stronger, after all they are a force to be reckon with. A match made in heavenm, a union of strength, love, power, devotion, commitment, hard work and unselfishness.
Please tell me where does X fit in all of this? Please tell me that Brad Pitt could ever describe her as an “inexhaustable mother” “sweetness” and “goodness” as “the best thing he could ever give his childre.” Please tell me…when he was on Barbara Walters almost crying about children I don’t think he was referring to X….you cant honestly tell me if Brad really wanted children with her that he would not have impregnated her…only if she was barren(who knows she might be). Get a grip haters, really take a sit back and replay the whole beginning and you too will come to that realization that Brad’s time with his X was a contract that was fulfiled and when the terms of the contract ended, he moved on. You know its like when two people marry for papers and when that time is over they are like whew, thank God now I am free to find my true love. Get it guys…finally Brad is free to be with the woman of his dreams….his sweet yet sexy and beautiful Angie….the mother of his 6 beautiful children. So get over it!

Besides, Skippy, it was X who declared she wanted an Oscar (and a baby). Brad’s never said an Oscar was his career ambition…yet he’s closer to reaching X’s goal than she’ll ever be. Must suck to know the only flix you can get distributed call for you to play third fiddle to not one, but 22, dogs and a 40 year-old mop-headed, unfunny comedian who’d rather be seen dating a woman he nearly killed himself over than to give you an opportunity to spread rumors that the two of you were an item. Ouch.
