John Mayer: New Year’s With Jennifer Aniston!
John Mayer arrives at LAX airport in Los Angeles on Friday (December 26) with his two brothers — Carl (older, inset) and Ben (younger, not pictured).
The 31-year-old musician spent Christmas on the East Coast while girlfriend Jennifer Aniston spent Christmas Eve with Friends BFF Courteney Cox in L.A. Looks like Mayer and Aniston will be ringing in the new year together on the West Coast!
Aniston’s Christmas Day release of Marley & Me raked in $14.75 million in ticket sales, breaking the previous record of $10.2 million set by 2001’s Ali.

Hi ellie, Christmas was fine. Glad you enjoyed yours. I agree with you, I thought it was lovely what Brad said about his family, although the hags on here are going crazy talking about how Brad kicked poor Jennifer to the curb once again by saying his life was a dead end before he met Angelina. They seem to think every damn comment he makes is targeted to hurt Aniston for some reason. Brad couldn’t care less what Aniston thinks for the simple reason that she no longer exists for him, but try telling that to idiots like Teena whose IQ is probably the inverse of their age. and since you bring up the break up did you know that the break up made more than double what Marley and me made with less theaters?

Marley and me is not a hit for jen…its a flop
$14,600,000-opening day is nothing to be proud of after all the money that was pumped into promoting the movie and all the money to rent out larger amount of theaters thatn the other movies that were being released that day. and given that the movie is being shown sevn to ten times slots or more in each theater across the country.
the movie management has no theater release date.. it only shows DVD
Travleing was origially slotted for january but now has an undetrmined on it. meaning its not sure when to release it. clear sign that the movie will not sell that easily so they most likely put it on a week that has hardly no moives showing or coming out that week or the next like they did for the Break up.

As of Friday, Marley and Me has grossed $28,600,000 for a 2 day total. I believe The Break Up had a gross of $28,900,00 after 2 days. Yes, The Break Up grossed over $39 Million on it’s opening weekend. Let’s see what Marley and Me grosses after today. And yes, we have not seen the production budget as of yet for Marley. The Break Up had a budget of $52 Million so we know that TBU made money. How you can say that Marley and Me is a flop astounds me when the critics are all saying that Marley will have a $54 Million 4 day gross.

I loved Marley and Me! Great movie! I walked out after 2 hours of Brad Pitt’s movie, Benjiman, was awful and boring and he’s not even a good actor but a boyfriend of a chick who french kissed her blood brother on TV and bought children not living in the USA. That’s his best triumph is an act too, when you consider all that they do to insure forever International Public Relations raising kids with nannies for a great business triumph their lifetime. It’s simple, Marley and Me held onto our hearts and Owen and Jennifer were marvelous and made for their parts. Brad is a live wire whose failing looks have been revitalized after his recent face lift and his ego is bigger than his good sense. Jennifer Aniston and Owen are magical and they will always beat him in the box office no matter he thinks they should not. Hey, face it, Mr. & Mrs. Smith wasn’t that good at all and a big disappointment. Just remember, Jennifer is a great draw without exception. It’s Jen that remains the best draw and she proved it here.

Andy Tennant to direct bounty hunter comedy

Jennifer Aniston and Gerard Butler are in negotiations to topline an untitled bounty hunter project at Columbia.
“Hitch” helmer Andy Tennant is attached to direct the comedy, which centers on a bounty hunter (Butler) hired to retrieve his ex-wife (Aniston), who has skipped bail.
Sarah Thorp, whose most recent bigscreen credit is the Ashley Judd starrer “Twisted,” penned the script.
Studio is eyeing a May start date.
Neal Moritz is producing through his Sony-based Original Films shingle.
Aniston, who next stars in the Christmas Day opener “Marley & Me,” has three films in the can: “He’s Just Not That Into You,” “Traveling” and “Management,” which she also produced.
Now all I can say is that Traveling has never had a firm release date. However Jen did say on Regis & Kelly that Traveling would be coming out in April. And if you go to Universal Pictures website, you will see Traveling as one of the films being released in 2009.
And again why would Aniston say that Management was being release in the Fall of 2009 on Regis & Kelly?
And when she says Bounty Hunter is not definite yet that is because they are in negotiations. And even if it is a done deal, she can’t say anything until Sony Pictures says it’s ok to talk about.

If a poster says that her movie is great then I say, that’s wonderful. If a poster says she is hot, that’s nice. But if any Jen lover tells me that her actions are appropriate for a woman nearly 40 years of age, then they too stoop to her level.
You people are delusional. America does not love Jen. Nobody cares about her, just like all the other celebs. That movie made money because it was based on a best-selling book. Anyone could have played that part and it still would have made money. And don’t cry for Angelina. Her movies grossed over 1 billion dollars this year. The other two movies Jen made can’t get a solid release date. So don’t get all happy because this movie might make $60 mil over a 4-day weekend, because “Twilight,” with two unknown stars, grossed $69 mil over a two day weekend.

The mutt movie is hardly a flop, but unfortunately, it is no more likely to revive Aniston’s fading career than TBU did. She has three more movies in the can, none currently in production and none planned. The ones in the can are:
1) He’s Just Not That Into You — postponed twice due to bad buzz and fear of competition from Sex And The City (June) and Changeling (October). Now set to open in February but the buzz on the film is it’s a stinker.
2) Management — bombed at the Toronto film festival and took months to find a distributor. Finally found one; supposed to go into limited release sometime this spring and will probably go to DVD after that.
3) Traveling — still no release date, still doesn’t have a distributor. No word of when it will be released.
According to imdb.com, Aniston has no films currently in process and none are currently planned.

Why in the world are you bringing Nicole Kidman into this? But I’ll say this, now that you mentioned her: Kidman is an A-list actress with ten times more talent than Aniston has. She will continue to get roles after Aniston is long gone from Hollywood because Kidman can play a variety of parts, while the only thing Aniston can play is Rachel Greene. Every part she has played in a movie is a variation on Rachel Greene, and she’s getting too old for that any more. Unless they make a movie where she plays Rachel Greene’s mother.

If Mayer cared at all about Aniston, he would have done one of two things: 1) he would have spent Christmas in California with Aniston, or 2) he would have invited Aniston to spend Christmas with his family in New York. He did neither. He let her spend Christmas all alone, or with her usualy backup, the Cox/Arquettes, who are probably sick of the sight of her at this point.
Now I know you have the brains of a mosquito, bet, but what Mayer is saying by not spending Christmas with his supposed girlfriend is he’s just not that into her. But that’s the story of her life, isn’t it?

Saira, don’t blow the Jenhags’s high. They’ve been waiting four whole years to have something to feel good about. And wouldn’t you know it, just when they are starting to feel good again, here comes mean ole Brad and kicks poor Jen under a bus telling the whole world that his life was a dead end before he met Angelina. variety prints out things that are likely to happen but sometimes does not flesh out.
contracts have to be signed first and Variety only gets the sing on sheets not the actual contracted person who will do the film.
What it mean is if Jen is slotted to do the film and her contract will call for 8 mil… and katherine Heigl expresses interest in the film and her fee is lower.. guess who gets the project.?
We saw Marley and Me yesterday, thinking it would truly be a good, clean, Christmas time movie, a true PG movie. It should have been labeled R for the crude, disgusting lines about balls, the humping and other scenes, not appropriate in a movie that draws in small children. Half the row we wer sitting in, a family with young children left early. So did other families in the theater.
The story line was great, but it was ruined with gutter crap.
marley and me reviewer , an actual person that paid money to see the film…I bet they were wishing they could get thier money back.
