But the whole episode is strange. A small busy island and he choses here to holiday. If he has married why not just say. What is the problem? But only his daughter appears to be present, where is his family and his best friend, Balliee Walsh? I just think this is about as out of character as you can get.

Or course, he can counter after this holiday that the pics were private and there was an intrusion by the paps. But I’m sorry, a well know island on a public beach during the holidays and it seems acting up for the paps, is opening up yourself to laughed at if you make that kind of comment.

But I can’t wait until the first interview after all this or someone will shove the microphone into his face at the Defiance premiere and he’ll say “no comment”. Sorry… it won’t fly now and the press should know that. Hope he is prepared (and Sats and his daughter as well) for what comes next. Of course, maybe he planned it this way. Should be interesting.

I have tend to stay off these sites but feel compelled to say my piece:

I have enjoyed Mr Craigs’ works for many years before he became Bond (which I still boggle at) but feel that at this point his celebrity ego/ shadow has surpassed his raw talent.

He has been a very private and reserved man, aware of his own foibles and erratic moods but I see a man emerge that I am beginning to wonder at.

These last few days on St Barths has seen a man, yes relaxing, but a man nonetheless more concerend with his image than before.

Both he and Ms Mitchell display definite peacock/cockeral qualities as well as the liking of two bulls snorting at each other when roused. Normal behaviour for a long term couple I hear you day, maybe.

I find that Ms Mitchell, who has an obvious influence on the man, has indeed soaked up the celebrity by-proxy shadow that she so clearly enjoys but meanwhile has she been the best influence on his instinctual acting? I feel the last few years have provided us with severly mediocre performances give or take a few powerhouse scenes. Infamous, very good, the others including the Bond films, a little too self-concious and anticipatory in their deliveries.

If Ms Mitchell does have “power” , I suggest she helps Mr Craig re-balance and re-centre his focus on what is visceral rather than the physical anatomy of what he has now become known for. Very sad for a man who held so much promise as a young Indie actor who blew the screens away.

I feel that these two personally deserve each other as they are indeed of the same ego and absorbtion rate of the celebrity world but one will burn sooner than the other, one candle will flicker out and two egos cannot be matched eternally. One will and has effected the other to what we see now. Has one ego enhanced the other or has detrimentally degraded the other? That is the question.

If any of his “team” ever do chance to come and read these, I hope this post finds it way there, as I am in turmoil to see his grappling at what he had once. His soul seems distracted throughout the smiles and performances. I cannot even watch his acting now.

I feel Mr Craig you remind me of a kettle that has boiled constantly for many years but now only emitting steam.

I don’t think Daniel really cares what anyone thinks. He has what he wants now and his career can go down from here as he is financially secure. Don’t expect much from him moving forward. He will put his gf in the spotlight now as its all about making his new wife happy and secure

As for Ms Mitchell, yes, I can see her becoming professionaly more involved in his career and maybe fronting a production company or some form of business ventture.

She’s pretty much involved with his career right now (if all the comments by him are to be believed). The production company/business venture is very believable - though she might be out of practice… when was the last time she had a hand in producing anything? Was that “The Jacket” released in 2005?

To #643 — I think too many of us probably imagine that he’s like the Bond character because we enjoy him in that role so much - smooth, intelligent, funny, sexy. But I have a feeling, in real life, he’s not like that at all and is probably nothing like we imagine. He’s likely a strange, quirky, insecure person (as most actors are). Notice who he chooses to surround himself with in private life, and that will tell you a lot about the real person vs. who you think he is. (Sats is a case in point — that alone suggests he’s probably a bit odd.)

I think she found an easy way to live a life she wants, he just spent 4 million pounds on a house, which hes gutting and redoing so that’s got to be what another 2 mill at least. she only wears designer clothes, when do you not see her with a shopping bag in her hand. the man is blinded by poon, like most guys, can’t really fault him for that he is only human… he will have to take drastic measures to cut her loose and this is beyond you can have the dryer and the tv if you just leave.

my opinion,
Since they are still there, and it is Tuesday, I think the paps were hired- don’t know why or what the “deal” is-

It isn’t like we have never seen her before. The paps are introducing the public to her, or anything like that-

But they ahve had DAYS to go to privacy, somewhere else- on St. Barts or elsewhere and they are still on a public beach– and they continue to LOOK straight at the camera-

Very Interesting that she is holding hands with him LOOKING right at the camera- while he is spitting out seawater!!!
