Wow in the middle of winter and Katie is going out in shorts and a cropped jacket opened..Flash back to to 80’s with those stirrup leggings…Does it ever snow in New York.. everytime we see a picture
of Katie and Suri the sidewalks are dry as if it never snowed.. and seeing her in that outifit..

FYI…it is about 65 degrees in NYC today. That doesn’t make the outfit any less ugly though!

If she had worn long jeans Katie wouldn’t look that bad. It has been warmer than usual in the northeast but shorts if going overboard.

Sometimes I really think she is crying out for attention, but in a very sad sort of way.

I agree she dresses to try to create a stir amongst the photographers waiting outside her door, which is really pathetic. But since she has no sense of style, most every attempt falls flat.

If her and Tom were separating in the near future, it would be a great ruse. She could suddenly turn up looking pretty, healthy and fashionable after the split, and we’d all blame him for how bad she looked then (now)and give more sympathy to her.

The “boyfriend” jeans were ripped right out of stylist’s books for fall, and were on every female celebrity her age within two weeks. She wasn’t the one to start the trend nor did she wear it first. It was just that Katie was photographed every day in them. Just another mindless and obedient starlet doing what she’s told is “hot”.

Lord this woman makes the worst fashion choices. This reminds me of that disastrous outfit she wore on the beach…the heels, not the shorts. Her horrible opening night concoction - the white jumpsuit with the lace is making a couple of the year end worst dressed lists. This woman has no common sense when it comes to dressing. It is too bad her life is filled with sycophants and she has no one that will give her an honest opinion

” DANI “, This is NOT one of my favorite’s outfit, either…I have not seen shorts like that all winter on anyone…..BUT, the one thing that I hate on everyone, are peep toed shoes…..They are ugly on everyone and funny looking……All you see, are someone’s squished together toes, sticking out of a small cramped space, vying for attention….One lady’s toes I saw, had her longer middle toe sticking WAY out of the hole, while the other’s were so cramped, they were over-lapping each other……Ridiculous!!!!!!!…..What is the purpose of the stupid cut-out toe?….If you want to show off your perfect toes, then buy regular sandal’s, or regular full cut-out front shoes…….
I have never been a fan of stirrup pants, but obviously Katie adores them, so why not?…..I’m sure I wear alot of things that my friends and family hate on me, but I find comfortable and flattering…..I could sit on a bench at our large mall, and pick apart every one to some degree…….You hardly see ANYONE dressed the way you would envision them………I guess what it boils down to is, everyone dresses how they want, and what feels good to them, and what they assume looks good, whether others agree or not…..Katie does just that.

If you think these comments are mean, try reading the ones on the Jolie-Pitt threads. Or when the haters get going on Kidman. These are tame, tame, tame in comparison.

Obviously, Suri selected this outfit and demanded her mother wear it. No adult woman (in her right mind, at least) would go out in public looking like that.

It was unseasonably — and unreasonably — warm in NYC today, but that outfit is a horror show by any standard.

@ oh my: I am starting to think Mr. and Mrs. Holmes have been branded as supressive persons too. Look up David Miscavige’s neice’s name (Jenna) on Google. She goes into quite a bit of detail about this & how many members of their family were torn apart. She is no longer a member of the “church” by the way. Interesting but very very scary to say the least.
Anyway, I happen to think Katie looks great here. She’s on her way to work, probably going to do some rehearsing in her leggings, shorts are easy on/off. However, it’s her demeanor and obvious sadness that are more troublesome. Gone is the **glowing** Katie from a few years ago. She’s a Mom now, etc etc but maybe scientology isn’t for her but she realizes she can’t just back out.

Petra- I just searched for designer denim shorts and didn’t see anything like KH’s. I thought Current Elliot but didn’t see them there. Probably not out yet. Jared is usually good about naming the designer.

Fashion wise, she looks like a homeless person without half of her pants on. Human side, she wants attention, most likely because she’s not getting it from Tom Cruise, so she dresses to get attention even if the poor soul doesn’t have a clue of any semblance of the word fashion. Even the bingo ladies at the local parlor dress sexier and classier than this robot ever has I used to remember when she was happy which seems so long ago, I guess her Scientology ego got too big for her pants (ha, ha).

Normaly I do not like the way she dresses but on the contrary to most of the people here today, I do like her look. It reminds of kate Moss but she wears it with high boots…yes I like it! and despite normaly her legs look like tree truncks, not nowadays! I don’t know if she eats though!

HEY ” DANI “…..( NUMBER # 76 )…I DO AGREE With you !!!!!!…( as always )…..It is just sometimes I feel sorry for her….She seemed to have a great stylist in L.A., BUT, when she arrived in New York, everything wnet by the wayside a little……I know alot of my friends LOVE those peep-toed shoes, and will wear NOTHING ELSE…. I hate them, and find them funny looking…..I agree with the stirrup pant issue also…..Save those for the ballerina’s and dancers and yoga work-outs…….I would NEVER wear them in public…( do NOT have any ), and I’m not that heavy….5′7.5 and weigh 128 lbs….My legs are toothpicks, BUT I carry my excess weight at the waistline…..I have seen severly obese women over the Holiday’s wear these things with t-shirts, hanging down right above the navel…WHY?????

Mr. Blonde you are delusional if you think the attacks on TomKat are worse than the attacks on Kidman and Brangelina. I don’t see anyone wishing death to the kids (like the Brange), nor do I see people criticizing every move that Katie and Tom make unlike Nicole. Furthermore, Jared’s blog is really one of the nicer blogs out there. If you read other blogs the attacks on Brangelina and Kidman are far worse than the attacks on TomKat. I truly believe you have been assigned by the Church of Aliens to defend this couple. Otherwise you would open your eyes and see what the truth is–Brangelina, Aniston, and Kidman are all attacked more viciously than TomKat on this blog. Most of the so called attacks on TomKat are on Katie’s clothing, the fact that she looks tired, or that Suri isn’t wearing a coat or socks yada yada yada. The attacks on Brad, Angie, Jen, and Nic are all very personal, very hurtful etc. And yes they have defenders, but so does TomKat.

The problem with movie stars and stars or idols whether it is film, sports etc., generally no one involved with them will tell them what is what. It is like that TMZ video when Katie showed up in that attrocious white/black lace jump suit. The photograph/pap is heard saying something like “what the hell is she wearing?” and then when she gets near him he starts saying “Katie you look great!” trying to get a good picture. And unfortunately people like their handlers, publicists, and even friends treat them with kid gloves. So therefore no one takes them aside and says look in a mirror. For instance today’s outfit is running 4-5% for and 95-96% against in the People Mag daily style poll. I’ve never seen numbers this low except for Bjork or someone who has that wild fashion sense.
And obviously it doesn’t matter what she wears. We can all ***** and moan about it, but if she is happy, she is happy. Personally I think today’s look makes her look ridiculous–like she is trying to dress like a teen. Her legs aren’t her best feature yet she continously does things to highlight them. She is a pretty woman and at times can look quite stunning. She just doesn’t portray the confidence of say Kidman or Aniston or even Jolie. Angie has a very defined look. It doesn’t look great, it doesn’t look bad. Jen always looks very put together. Kidman almost always look great. I think what the three of them have that Katie doesn’t is an innate confidence in themselves. I don’t know how else to explain it other than they wear their clothes, but on Katie? The clothes wear her. When you look at Angie, Nicole and Jen you see them. When you look at Katie you see the fashion disaster.

People DO criticize every move that TomKat makes and I’ve never heard people wish death on Brangelina’s kids, #131.

I’m not a Scientologist and I do visit the forums of those other stars and Jennifer Aniston is really the only one who can rival TomKat in terms of hatred. Brangelina and Kidman have way more defenders than TomKat and they don’t have the stigma of being Scientologists.
