OlderScarlett Johansson: ‘Happy’ With Secet Wedding
The Spirit star Scarlett Johansson was just interviewed by the LA Times. Here are some of the highlights:
On starring in three Woody Allen movies in the last few years and eager for more: “I would do Woody’s shoeshine. I’m lucky to be able to fit into that young-woman category in his mind, so I hope he keeps writing for young women. I think he will.”
On being excited about aging in the entertainment business: “I look forward to the opportunity that it will bring [to play rich, complex roles.] I feel like the hype that comes with being young in the industry will kind of dissipate and that there are some really good roles in my future. Then again, I say that as an actor who thinks every job is their last job…. I would love to be able to have a production company [some day] and encourage other directors and writers to follow their vision.”
On spending last summer planning a secret wedding to Ryan Reynolds: “It was my mission to have a moment of privacy, to do something for myself. I was happy with the results of that.”
Scarlett’s next film, He’s Just Not That Into You, is due out in February.

How can she say it was private when it was on the inernet the same day? And Us weekly Got the story the same day of the wedding. So who is telling the true here.A privat wedding is when Noone really know that you got married. So she lied about that..

Yeah. You’re quite right. And the funny thing is, wish, she will be talking more about her very Mission Impossible secret wedding from now on. Had the wedding not been ’secret’, we wouldn’t be reading about it all the time.

What is she supposed to do when everyone brings it up to her in an interview. Should she say “I don’t want to talk about it because I don’t want the idiots like this number 9 on JJ to think I am the one bringing it up.”
#9 = Moron.
Also, to appease her fans and such she let it be known that she had a wedding AFTER she actually had it. I’m sure her fans would want to know (I did) and it would seem a little off that she would just not bring it up at all. She did not have her publicist get the news out the same day. I remember not reading about it until a Tuesday or Wednesday and it supposedly happened on a weekend.

“A moment of privacy”? As if she is so important. The only reason Woody Allen uses her is because he is a dirty old man who wants to have sex with her. Scarlet can’t act and she better hope that the sex symbol status she has acquired doesn’t leave her anytime soon because she won’t make it on her weak acting skills alone.
