OlderAnderson Cooper: Teach Me Twitter!
Silver Fox Anderson Cooper hosts CNN’s Anderson Cooper 360° and reports for 60 Minutes. He’s also CNN’s Mr. New Year’s Eve. Here are some highlights from the 41-year-old’s latest interview with LA Times:
On not having a personal Twitter: “I think I do have a Twitter feed! I’m not as Twitter-friendly as [CNN anchor/correspondent] Rick Sanchez. He seems to be tweeting and twittering. I’m hoping he’ll give me a lesson on it someday” (See: Rick Sanchez’s Twitter and Anderon Cooper 360’s Twitter)
On not starting his own website: “I’m not that computer-savvy. And, uh, I dunno! I like the immediacy of television. I like going to a frontline, I like going to a story. I like the immediacy and impact of it. There’s a real global impact with CNN… It’s not really about mass distribution. It’s more about just telling stories that affect people’s lives. . . . There’s a lot of opportunities at CNN that if I had a little website somewhere I don’t think I could take part in.”

I LOVE AC!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I agree with him, as a viewer I wouldn’t want to watch an anchor’s opinion…they should remain neutral and unbias in order to ask fair questions since viewers come from all walks of life. And the fact that AC is more interested in the real human stories instead of the “most popular” news of the day just makes him that much more AWESOME!!!!!
I love AC. But, man, that was a stupid interview. The Los Angeles Times…how the mighty has fallen. Or at least whoever that “journalist” is.

I like when Anderson co-hosts on Regis and Kelly when Regis is away. He and Kelly make a pretty funny team. It’s nice that Anderson can have fun on the show and not have to speak about something that is so serious all the time like he does on his show AC360.

Anderson is not gay. Please stop the madness already about Andy is gay. He has a girlfriend because he doen’t talk about his private life that’s not mean his gay. He loves women and he enjoys women.
