Angelina Jolie & Jennifer Aniston: Bride Wars!
Angelina Jolie and Jennifer Aniston are racing each other to the altar, In Touch claims on its latest amusing cover.
In semi-related news, Aniston and BFFs Courteney Cox and Laura Dern arrived together at the airport in Los Cabos, Mexico on Sunday (December 28).
According to People, Jen’s boyfriend John Mayer is also in town with his brothers. Their separate residences are “a short drive away – and are connected by a private beach perfect for long walks at sunset.”
That means Jen and John will be ringing in the New Year together!

julianne#67 - Go back to Rotten Tomatoes and check out Angelina Jolie. Her ENTIRE CAREER has a “Fresh rating” of 27%!! That’s right, almost a full three-quarters of her films have been certifiably rubbish.

Angelina has already had a marriage to Brad, she said awhile back that Maddox decided to marry them (the whole ceremony was done in French) just with the family. Having your child perform your wedding ceremony - Angie wins!

Katarina, and what does Brad do? he dated famous woman, sells his family out, sells new orleans out.. he chooses good co stars and directors and that’s how he doe s it. it damn sure aint’ his actng that got him this far.
Does Johnny depp and sean penn have to sell his family out the way Pitt does> I don’t think so. How in te world does he get more respect than someone who has better acting chops than he does?
BTW, how wAS Changelina a critical miss when she’s getting all the awards? The peeps abroad are wondering why the American critics dissed Clint because if it was just them she would get an 80% at rotten tomatoes.

Another poster brought up Rotten Tomatoes and the article is entitled “Bride Wars” so the only relevant comparison is between AJ & JA’s critical success, and whilst their careers both suck, AJ’s stinks like a dog that died choking on a skunk. As for the awards this year - Meryl Streep got a GG nom for the much-derided Mamma Mia!(!) The reviews for Changeling worldwide have generally been average (hence it’s “Certified Rotten” status) and just look at the US box office - 60-70% LESS than either Million Dollar Baby or Mystic River, both of which had much less visible lead actors and equivalent budgets.

Oh, and I’m not a fan of Brad Pitt’s either, although I have enjoyed a few of his film’s in the past, because he’s the other one selling out his children when he needs positive publicity and that’s just a little too cynical for my tastes…

Yeah right you JENHAG what do you know about acting when your IDOL is somebody who don’t even know how to act even when her life depends on it. Angelina’s career suck ? where have you been living lately under a rock? Angelina is the highest paid actress in Hollywood she gets 15-20 million dollars per movie do you think producers will pay her that amount if her career is like MANISTON?? NOT so stop posting crap out of your ass. YOU are like your idol whiny, shallow and a LIAR.
I understood Angelina Jolie’s quote of children seeing their parents etc as meaning falling in love in the film. You usually only fall in love if you’ve already fallen out of love elsewhere…brad had a hole in his heart and AJ filled it. All the rest is silly. JA and BP fell out of whatever they had. I hope JA marries someone fast but I highly doubt it because on her own merit she is in the same boat as the rest of the Friends casts - no publicity and JA’s ambition wouldn’t survive that and coupled with the fact that she cannot open a film would mean she would fade away….her latest is star casted by a dog and Owen Wilson. However, she is sensible in picking a best selling book because that guarantees interest in the film and guaranteed sales for tickets - even if the film is hideous.
people take sides in crap like this and that’s pitiful. i think jen’s completely over the divorce contrary to what people may think and this ‘race to the altar’ thing is another make-up story to sell this issue. the sadder thing is, people continue to buy these kind of stories.
I like the JPs, big fan of their work, glad they are getting noms, well deserved. Am sick of this Jennifer media-made triangle. Wish the mags would leave it alone. I think the mags that start staying away from this ridiculous FOUR YEAR OLD done-wrong romance will have better sales. Seriously, Jennifer and Brad’s marriage has been over FOUR YEARS, it’s done, who cares now, I sense a public revolt on this, enough! All the tabs and mags that keep focusing on this DEAD END STORY, well, it’s getting tiresome and maybe that’s why their sales are down, mags are hurting nowdays, they need a new story!! Is there no other celebrity gossip around, must this story go one again in 2009 too?
whatever! these two girls deserve happiness. let them be happy with their respective men. i don’t think this is any stunt from either side especially jen’s. this is another of the seemingly endless efforts of gossip mags to keep the brangelinnifer triangle alive.

She offers nothing in my view except a lot of skin and inane interviews over inane movies and inane personal baggage.
