Gerard Butler Can Stand Under My Umbrella
Gerard Butler opens up a beach umbrella as he relaxes in the warm sunshine — with his shirt on, unfortunately — on Miami Beach on Wednesday afternoon (December 31).
The 39-year-old Scottish stud was seen talking on the phone with his hands-free headset.
Gerry recently made the cut in advertising agency JWT’s list of 90 Things to Watch in 2009.
Other “things” that made the list: Amy Poehler, Judd Apatow-esque Humor, Bruno (played by Sacha Baron Cohen), Emma Stone, Dragonball, Elizabeth Banks, Lady GaGa, Russell Brand, Lance Armstrong, Michelle Obama, Prince William Wedding Watch, Obama-speak, and Tripp Johnston (Sarah Palin’s grandson).

I totally agree with your comments, however his capped teeth are giving him the speech impediment.
I am soooooo sick of you people thinking everything is gay. Come on,GET OFF THE GAY TRAIN!!!! What ever Gerry wears or goes does NOT make him gay!

Anon #48 here. I’ve seen him on TV being interviewed on the red carpet, and I seen him on videos at places like Splash, and when he is excited he spits. when he talks. He did it on Leno, too. They probably have to use CGI to erase the spit spray when he shoots a movie. LOL! You’re right. He does appear to have a speech impediment. He is making enough money now he should be able to afford better dental work, yes?
I am not tearing him down or faultfinding. He DOES spit.

Jaysus people…so the man is at the beach..big deal…and this thing of whether he has a girlfriend or not and is sleeping around..who cares? How many people do that?…ALOT…He’s single and livin it up…More power to him..One word..Jealously…I wish I was on that beach in Miami enjoying the day….
I think it is perfectly natural to be on the beach with some clothes on…I have fair skin, and my family is prone to skin cancer. So…I sometimes go on the beach with most of me covered, including my head. It may look strange, but I can take no chances. Also, a friend of mine doesn’t like the oil or oozing sun protection you have to lather on..so he keeps his shirt and shorts on, too.

I think he looks hot! Hot, in sexy, charismatic, and desirable. He is a great raconteur..I love his stories on Leno and the rest! He was voted head of the Glasgow University Law Society…the same parallel as Obama ..who had the same position with the Harvard Law Review. He’s very intelligent..and funny. And…he has to money to be bearded or not..or to walk barefoot or not.
Gerry has made great strides in his 11 or so years in the movie business…Pitt and Clooney started when they were 20…and they’re years older than Gerard is now. Give him time. “39″ isn’t the same as it was years ago: it’s still very young. For example, have you seen Morgan Fairchild Raquel Welsh, Jacklyn Smith lately? They’re all in their 60’s….Do you know how old Aunt Bea (Frances Bavier) was when she left the Andy Griffith Show? 51”””””””””””””””””””””!!!!!! I thought she was in her seventies!!!

Either the umbrella photo looks like a photo shoot; or he’s about to beat the pap with it. Geez Gerr, not again.
We were there when this photo took place. This was no photo shoot. He was walking down the beach with a few other people when the pap surrounded him and took photos as he walked. In the end he took the umbrella to shield himself from the 30 or so photographers who ran after him as he ran to get away from them. He was actually very nice and smiled as this all took place.
Whenever I see Mr Butler he is surrounded by male friends mainly his long term very close friend, the director. Have you seen the video of the same day of these pics? They’re there side by side….too much gay IMO.
