OlderJoaquin Phoenix is a Hairclip Hunk
A heavily bearded Joaquin Phoenix pushes his long hair back with a big hairclip while socializing with other celebs during the Butter Party at Fontainebleau Miami Beach’s LIV nightclub on Monday (December 29).
Also at the party: Diddy, Casey Affleck, director Brett Ratner, Brody Jenner’s BFF Frankie Delgado, Desperate Housewives star Shawn Pyfrom, Jamie Foxx, and Laguna Beach’s Kristin Cavallari.
Earlier this year, Joaquin, 34, stated that his latest film, Two Lovers, would be his last.
“I want to take this opportunity… also to give you the exclusive and just talk a little bit about the fact that this will be my last performance as an actor,” Joaquin said. “I’m not doing films anymore.”

OMG!!!!! what the heck happened to him. he was the most handsome actor out there and i had a huge crush on him, now he looks like a hobo. I want to go back into acting so much, he was so much respected that way. Joaquin, im so sorry to say this but u ned to get your act together and shave off the beard and cut your hair. Its digusting. I want the joaquin phoenix back that i had a crush on and not this joaquin phoenix. The joaquin phoenix that was in gladitor and walk the line, my two favorite films. I just dont want him to turn into heath ledger, because we already had one talented actor gone, so we dont need another. Joaquin, please get your act together and give us back the joaquin phoenix that we love and respect. This joaquin phoenix has got to go.
Lets leave Heath out of this, he was not on drugs and drinking when he died and it was NEVER proven that he was. River is another story I loved him as well but, he was a druggie and there was no way to chance that but, lets not rag of Heath.

You all do not know what is going on in his personal life and it is none of your business. Everyone has a right to live their life the way they want to. You know, if a non-celebrity did the same thing Joaquin did, no one would pay attention, but since he is a celebrity, everyone is making stupid comments about his life in which they have no real evidence or facts. It’s sad that you guys have nothing better to do than insult someone whom you do not and will not ever know. He does not look like a hobo. I do not particularly like the look, but the Joaquin I have seen also likes to go for shock value when it comes to papparazzi/press. I think he is just either being himself or giving the press something to talk about. It’s called being eccentric.

Maybe he’s starting rent-a-room for head-lice & other parasites! Big, matted beards are so gross. He looks like he has lost his way a bit; looks very haunted.
I live in the same hometown that the Phoenix family is from. I recently saw Joaquin out and about in his own element with loved ones looking relaxed happy and quite sane. I think this is all some publicity stunt or something that is more than meets the eye deal.

Not on the street, but I saw him around town. For those that are true fans and concerned on his welfare, he looked fine. That is all that is necessary to comment on.
You could tell how hard he worked on Walk the Line. He should have received recognition! It is what it is right now. Let’s leave him alone folks!

I saw a different pic of him from that party and he looks just FINE. If anything, I think the reason his appearance is a shock is because he’s finally being himself and not worried about people accepting him anymore. Lots of past photos you see of him are the prep work of stylists, I’m sure. As for the criticism about being bloated… frankly I think he just wears baggy clothes. So what if he likes comfort. And as for that “questionable” behavior… it could be that he’s compulsive about his current interests and doesn’t sleep or is an insomniac. For instance, if he’s writing music, I’m sure that takes a lot of time and experimentation, learning, and collaborating with others. When a person is creative, they have to work while they have that feeling. It’s not a switch you can flip on and off like a light. You have to seize the moment when it hits you. Usually, you also want to make sure that what you have produced is an adequate reflection of what you want to communicate or express to others. Also, he is a kind person. I think he is misunderstood at times is all and he’s probably sick of it. So why bother being nice when people just walk all over you? I just don’t think anyone should be so quick to judge and come after him with pitchforks and torches because he’s not the nice, little, packaged commodity we’ve been sold on. But seriously, I know I get wobbly and strange when I’ve done nothing but work all day and then give my time to others afterwards even though what I’d rather do is go home and crash on the couch. When you’re a high energy person and don’t let yourself rest, sometimes the days seem to blur together and you don’t really care what you look like because you’re mind is on overdrive.

I BET HE’S BUSY BREAKING INTO PEOPLE’S LUXURY APARTMENTS IN ORANGE, CALIFORNIA, NEAR SANTA ANA, AND ******* RUN’S DAUGHTERS. I HOPE YOU NEVER FIND HIM DO THAT TO THE YOUNGEST ONE ON YOUR NEW MATTRESS AND IRON WROUGHT BED. WATCHING HIM HAVE SEX WITH THAT UGLY WOMAN IS HUMILIATING AND INSULTING.
