OlderJoaquin Phoenix is a Hairclip Hunk
A heavily bearded Joaquin Phoenix pushes his long hair back with a big hairclip while socializing with other celebs during the Butter Party at Fontainebleau Miami Beach’s LIV nightclub on Monday (December 29).
Also at the party: Diddy, Casey Affleck, director Brett Ratner, Brody Jenner’s BFF Frankie Delgado, Desperate Housewives star Shawn Pyfrom, Jamie Foxx, and Laguna Beach’s Kristin Cavallari.
Earlier this year, Joaquin, 34, stated that his latest film, Two Lovers, would be his last.
“I want to take this opportunity… also to give you the exclusive and just talk a little bit about the fact that this will be my last performance as an actor,” Joaquin said. “I’m not doing films anymore.”

I agree with one of the posters who said he looks schizophrenic. That’s EXACTLY the same look that came over a good friend of mine when he started down that slope of mental illness. It is not the guys fault, though street drugs probably have added to his problems. They are not the cause, but they aren’t helping. I read a book about the use of massive doses of Vitamin K in treating this illness, successfully.
You know what I wish everyone would LEAVE Joaquin ALONE. The photos don”t suggest anything other than a guy who no longer feels the need to impress people. So what, he grew a beard and was dancing. He obviously quit the business for a good reason, something no one will ever understand cause we think it’s a bed of roses, well it probably is not, I am not surprised that a sincere, down to earth guy like Joaquin wants a break. and good for him he is doing what he wants to do now, something he probably has not had the luxury to do in many yrs. you try living in the spotlight day in day out and see how you’d handle it. I bet the folks who are making fun of how he looks are not ANYWHERE near as good looking as Joaquin. Joaquin is just too real for all the stuff that comes with fame, he just wants to be himself and no one will let him do that. Good luck to you Joaquin, you have amazing talent, I am not worried about you, you’ll be alright. I know you will.
HE TOOK THE HAIR CLIP OUT OF A WOMANS HAIR at the club. I assume it was supposed to be A JOKE. He doesn’t just go around sporting women’s hair clips thinking it looks good lol.
I reckon he’s got mental health problems and his alcohol problems are back. I think we all know by now that he was in a cult when he was a kid so surely you have to be a bit easy on him? He’s not your average mental case.
He looks ugly, but he said he would do that one day when he was fed up of comments about looks. He always makes weird jokes that nobody gets so there is still a high chance that this is him acting normal lol..FYI he has major anxiety problems and is very awkward.
BTW he does look like a f**** hobo (to whoever that’s in denial up the page) and if he doesn’t like the media intrusion, he should have gave it up after his first film. OR when his brother died and they played the 911 phone call on TV or SNUCK IN AND TOOK A PHOTO OF HIS DEAD BROTHER IN HIS COFFIN. ***** actors wanting to have their cake and eat it too. Just f*** off if you have had enough. I guess being paid millions for making faces at a camera is somehow worth all the bulls***.
PS - His beard will be shaved off ASAP, as it’s got people talking about the childhood cult. I bet he didn’t see that one coming. Bad move..
So he’s tired of shaving and looks like a lumberjack that resembles charlie mansen! That perhaps would be in the category of his perrogative. Is he hurting anyone? My concern would be more inclined to consider how he is feeling. So Joaq, Are you feeling o.k.?

Just watched “Clay Pigeons”-wow what a difference a decade makes. Not aging all that well. I think the new Joaquin is just his pod person.
