Matt Dillon Arrested For Speeding
Matt Dillon was arrested Tuesday night after being pulled over by Vermont state police for excessive speeding.
The 44-year-old actor/director clocked at 106 mph traveling on interstate-91 north in the town of Newbury. He was photographed, finger printed and released with a citation to appear at Orange County Court.
Matt is best known for his roles in Crash and There’s Something About Mary and most recently in You, Me and Dupree.

I like Matt DIllon, I always wondered why he has never made it bigger in the past few years (he’s in the same age group as Tom, Brad, Sean P.), he doesn’t seem to get considered for any great role, yet he played some great parts when he was younger.

I like this guy, but speeders irk me. When I see someone speeding in my rearview mirror, I like to drive slow in front of them on purpose. He is probably a habitual speeder though, who knows????
personally, i thought the outsiders really made him/best known role!
You get a ticket for speeding, you don’t get arrested. There is more to this story, he had to be under the influence to get arrested.

It’s untelling what Matt might have been offered in the way of roles in the past…and maybe turned down….sometimes actors just take roles that interest them and not necessarily for the hype. I like Matt…he’s under the radar enough to be interesting. Frankly, I’ve seen about enough of Tom Cruise (never found him an interesting actor, mostly hype) and Brad, too, (although I find Brad more interesting than Tom) for a while.
