OlderJett Travolta Dead at 16 (John Travolta’s Son)
Jett Travolta, the 16-year-old son of John Travolta has died after suffering a seizure at his family’s vacation home at the Old Bahama Bay Hotel on Grand Bahama Island.
Travolta’s attorney, Michael Ossi, tells Reuters that attempts were made to revive him, but he died at the scene.
Access reports Jett fell and hit his head on a bathtub at the hotel. TMZ reports Jett was taken to the Rand Memorial Hospital.
Travolta, 54, wife Kelly Preston, 46, and their family had been vacationing in the Bahamas. Travolta and Preston also have a daughter, Ella, 8.
Travolta has said Jett suffered from Kawasaki Syndrome (a condition that leads to heart disease in rare cases). Preston has also said Jett suffered from asthma and blamed household cleaners, fertilizers and pesticides for sparking the condition. According to People, she credited a detoxification program based on the writings of Scientology founder L. Ron Hubbard with helping to improve Jett’s health.

OMG i feel so sorry for u and ur fam. My fam recently had 2 people die, it was very sad and i cried for days. i know how u feel and i wish we didnt have to go through it. But it is part of life.

I don’t care if they’re crazy scientologists or vampires or what have you. Having to bury your child is something i wouldn’t even wish upon my worst enemy. It is very very sad. He was so young. I think his sister will be affected by this very badly. May he rest in peace.
These people just lost their 16 year old son, which on it’s own is devastating..but to have these comments posted judging and accusing them of holding back treatment because of their beliefs is unreal!!!! Get a life people, when and if someone close to you is very ill, or passes, how would you feel if you received crap like this?

A parent should not have to bury a child. My heartfelt sympathy to John and Kelly and their daughter, Ella. May they find comfort in each other and from their family and friends. I only pray that they don’t see the vicious messages that have been posted. They lost a child and from knowing families that have lost children, no other loss is as traumatic and it changes your lives forever.

****Jett Travolta’s Death: Police Disagree With Family on Timeline****
Police in the Bahamas are disagreeing with John Travolta’s staff in the wake of the New Year’s Day death of his son Jett, 16, at the Old Bahama Bay Hotel about how long the teenager lay undiscovered in the bathroom.
Police are reporting that Jett was left alone for more than ten hours from when he was last seen heading to his bedroom at the Travolta’s vacation townhouse at 6 PM after a day of boating with his family. Jett’s nanny, Jeff Kathrein, reportedly found Jett lying on the bathroom floor at 11:30 PM, TMZ reports.
Jett Travolta, who was disabled, was nonverbal and required the use of a baby monitor and a special chime to summon his two male nannies if required.
Kathrein and the Travolta’s attorney, Michael McDermott, says that Kathrein went to the bathroom in the time span between 6 PM when Jett left the room and 11:30 PM when his body was discovered so Jett was reportedly not unattended for ten hours.
The teenager is alleged to have possibly had a seizure and struck his head, which could have caused his death. McDermott also reports that Jett was known to sleep for 12 to 16 hours a day so him not being present for a long period of time would not have been unusual.
The official cause of death will be reported by the coroner on Monday.
Their attorney reports that Jett’s parents John Travolta and Kelly Preston have “stopped crying long enough last night to try to write a press statement, which they haven’t finished.”
And can the doctors and medical professionals release medical statements, not the Travolta’s lawyer? They are f****** up on the information.
Does the baby being born not already have a soul? If they encourage their followers to go to the hospital to get a new body what happens to the babies original soul, is it lost, does it go back to heaven. Are they saying that babies are born without souls and need a new one to come and take over their bodies? That just does not make a lick of sense. May God, in his infinite wisdom and kindness have mercy on their stupid, cult blinded souls.

On another note, I please plead the media to stop bothering the Travolta’s at this time. They lost there only son, first child, this is not a good time to be shoving a microphone in there faces.

autism doesn’t even cause seizures. he had a seizure and hit his head and that’s how he died.

16?so young…he didn’t even have time to discover the wonders of life….although im not related at all to this family i feel this huge pain inside…it kind of reminds me of my friend…who died when he was showering…heart attack and asthma attack i think..pretty similar…R.I.P:’(…anyways all my condolences to the Travolta family…:’( rest in peace Jett…his in a better place now…:) (*heaven*)
