OlderJett Travolta Dead at 16 (John Travolta’s Son)
Jett Travolta, the 16-year-old son of John Travolta has died after suffering a seizure at his family’s vacation home at the Old Bahama Bay Hotel on Grand Bahama Island.
Travolta’s attorney, Michael Ossi, tells Reuters that attempts were made to revive him, but he died at the scene.
Access reports Jett fell and hit his head on a bathtub at the hotel. TMZ reports Jett was taken to the Rand Memorial Hospital.
Travolta, 54, wife Kelly Preston, 46, and their family had been vacationing in the Bahamas. Travolta and Preston also have a daughter, Ella, 8.
Travolta has said Jett suffered from Kawasaki Syndrome (a condition that leads to heart disease in rare cases). Preston has also said Jett suffered from asthma and blamed household cleaners, fertilizers and pesticides for sparking the condition. According to People, she credited a detoxification program based on the writings of Scientology founder L. Ron Hubbard with helping to improve Jett’s health.

#363, your questions are very logical, I know, because I asked those same simple straight forward questions, and the $cientologist wouldn’t answer, they never give a straight answer.
#369, you should educate yourself before making idiotic comments…..There is an increased incidence of seizures in otherwise seizure-free autistic persons when they become adolescents. Roughly 25-30% of autistic adolescents have been reported to develop seizures, although such a high incidence has not been noted by me. It is of note that the seizures are usually not serious, are usually controlled by anticonvulsants, and are inclined to diminish in adulthood. The reason for this significant increased frequency of seizures in autistic adolescents is unknown and may represent, at least in part, the general tendency for seizure disorders to become more problematic at puberty.

aside from john travolta’s choice of religion, it is so sad that they have lost their son, first born child and ella’s brother at the age of 16, so young! my condolences to john, kelly and ella for the loss of their dear jett!!

I have two children and I can not imagine the pain and sadness that would come from the loss of either of them. The Travolta family are in my prayers.
