OlderJett Travolta Dead at 16 (John Travolta’s Son)
Jett Travolta, the 16-year-old son of John Travolta has died after suffering a seizure at his family’s vacation home at the Old Bahama Bay Hotel on Grand Bahama Island.
Travolta’s attorney, Michael Ossi, tells Reuters that attempts were made to revive him, but he died at the scene.
Access reports Jett fell and hit his head on a bathtub at the hotel. TMZ reports Jett was taken to the Rand Memorial Hospital.
Travolta, 54, wife Kelly Preston, 46, and their family had been vacationing in the Bahamas. Travolta and Preston also have a daughter, Ella, 8.
Travolta has said Jett suffered from Kawasaki Syndrome (a condition that leads to heart disease in rare cases). Preston has also said Jett suffered from asthma and blamed household cleaners, fertilizers and pesticides for sparking the condition. According to People, she credited a detoxification program based on the writings of Scientology founder L. Ron Hubbard with helping to improve Jett’s health.

though it is a sad day and my prayers are with the family, I am a firm believer in a saying I heard years ago when I worked in a Childrens hospital said by a priest…..Only the good die young… (good at heart, life, etc) Peace and God Bless to the family….
I feel so sorry for John and his family, they must be devestated and beside themselves with grief. My condolences to the family at this tragic time!

1. the death of any child is a sad thing
2. what diff does it make if he did or didn’t have any form of autism. geez jared. did someone give you a minimum words you had to have.
3. IF, and I don’t know that it is, come in any way from Jett’s parents refusing treatments due to their CoS beliefs, then they got what they deserved losing him. Pity it wasn’t just to child services. I know that sounds a tad harsh but really, no religion, cult or whatever is more important than the life of another human, especially a child.

I was shocked when I read that. Sincere sympathies to the Travolta family. I hope people keep that in mind before using this time to make mean judgments about the Travoltas.
I have been off line most of the day… This is such sad news for this family. I think it is right to say that sometimes whether we are fans of a celeb or not that we sometimes forget that these are real people.. People who suffer lose as we all do. I will say a prayer for them to find strength through this time.. and hope that they and we all know that we are never alone..

The death of a child is one of the most unatural things that can happen to anyone. It’s plain simply horrible. My condolences to the family.
actually on other websites it says that he suffered a seizure in the hotel and then couldnt get revived..he didnt get to the hospital in time.

Wow. How terrible. John Travolta first lost the love of his life to Cancer(pre wife) and now his son at the age of 16-
I pray that every medical possibility was made available immediately to this child.
