OlderJett Travolta Dead at 16 (John Travolta’s Son)
Jett Travolta, the 16-year-old son of John Travolta has died after suffering a seizure at his family’s vacation home at the Old Bahama Bay Hotel on Grand Bahama Island.
Travolta’s attorney, Michael Ossi, tells Reuters that attempts were made to revive him, but he died at the scene.
Access reports Jett fell and hit his head on a bathtub at the hotel. TMZ reports Jett was taken to the Rand Memorial Hospital.
Travolta, 54, wife Kelly Preston, 46, and their family had been vacationing in the Bahamas. Travolta and Preston also have a daughter, Ella, 8.
Travolta has said Jett suffered from Kawasaki Syndrome (a condition that leads to heart disease in rare cases). Preston has also said Jett suffered from asthma and blamed household cleaners, fertilizers and pesticides for sparking the condition. According to People, she credited a detoxification program based on the writings of Scientology founder L. Ron Hubbard with helping to improve Jett’s health.

How would Scientology have anything to do with this tragic accident. Those who think it could are ignorant. I knew someone who had seizures and it was a fall at the bathroom sink, triggered by a seizure, that ended her life… So this is the same thing, it was just an accident Seizures are unexpected and happen regardless of treatment… My heart goes out to the family….
I feel very sorry for the Travoltas. Leave Sciencefictiontology out of it and all of the rumors of Jett having Autism ,Kelly having an older child.
Jett was innocent and is at peace. As far the rumors, it is Kelly and John’s conscious which they will live with.

People should not judge them on their beleifs. I have a son that they say he requires medicine and I took him off it. His life has changed he is so much better.I live in Anthony,FL right across from him.They are a wonderful family and my thoughts and prayers go out to them. The loss of a child is tragic no matter how much money someone has. People need to stop judging and pray for this FAMILY!!!!!!
I was so saddened to hear the news of Jett’s passing. God bless the Travolta family. I can’t begin to imagine the pain they are feeling, losing a child and Ella now being without her big brother. Know that you are in my prayers.

My thoughts and prayers are with John and his wife. I lost my sister almost a year ago and I lost a best friend today ,also. To lose some one in their 60’s is really hard, but at least they have had some life. I also lost my brother at the age of 16. There is no comparison in losing a child my heart goes out to them. All these people that have so much to say because of there believes-Ignorance is bliss. They love there children no matter what. The USA is a free country and everyone has the right to their own believes. There son is in heaven with God now. God bless him and all his family.

Is it true that Kelly has another son that is severely autistic? I have read that he is being raised by her parents who had to sue Kelly for child support and ful custody. It is from her first marriage to Kevin Gage. Also, John and Kelly both denied that Jett had autism and in a recent interview Kelly says that they believe it came from him getting into toxic chemicals when he was young. I wonder if her first son also got into toxic chemicals.
On a side note I also read on Kelly’s bio that her mother works for a mental health care facility.

My deepest sympathy to the Travolta family. I respect your choice of belief. However, mine is with Jesus and because this is my faith and way of prayer, I pray for guidance, solace, and peace for your family through this sad and trying time.

Have some compassion. This family has lost their son. Pray for them. Don’t condemn them, it is not your place or anyone else’s except for God himself.
