Jude Law Rocks Rio de Janeiro
Jude Law, his ex-wife Sadie Frost and their kids — Rafferty, 12, Iris, 8, and Rudy, 4 — continue their vacation together in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil before the New Year (December 28, 29, and 30).
The 36-year-old British actor and his kids were seen playing soccer on the beach, lounging poolside at the Copacabana Palace and exploring the island of Ilha Grande.
Jude was spotted snorkeling with Iris and giving her a piggyback ride. And Sadie was seen showing Raff something on her Mac laptop.

Bobby, I love that Jude is Watson. I think he and Robert will be great together. Nationality never makes a difference to me in who plays which character, all I care about is the final product and if I enjoy it. Look at Batman….(Welsh) Christian Bale as Batman and (American) Aaron Eckhart as Two-Face.

You think Jude should be Watson because he’s older? I don’t know, I think they can manage to pull off age differences. I can’t wait to see how it turns out. Anyway, Jude makes a sexy Watson, although I’m sure that’s not what Ritchie was necessarily going for. :)
No, no - I think Sherlock is supposed to be older than Watson and thus Ritchie cast someone older than Jude as Sherlock :-D I’m sure Jude could do both parts but I’m pretty happy with him being Watson.

i feel like i’m on vacation with jude. this probably is the closest i’ll ever get to vacation with him so it will have to do. what a dad…michael caine commented that jude law was the most devoted father he had ever met….
I’m sure Jude is a great dad! I saw him at Primose Rose Hill (in London) and approached him for an autograph when he politely denied me because he was spending the day with his children & didn’t want them to feel like he was neglecting them by taking pictures and whatnot with fans :)

Jude is a very good dad and it shows when he is with his kids. Iris especially looks very close to him and I love the pics of them together.

Jude regularly takes Iris and his girlfriends to lunch and to the movies and plays. Londoners see him with a car full of little girls all the time. And the two boys are heartbreakers.

Oh my, did I say his girlfriends? I mean Iris and her girlfriends. I love it that he does that because not many men would do it. It reminds me of my dad(he’s gone now)who used to take all five of us sisters to the park and the beach every weekend when we were young.

when they get their private time with Dad. My dad was one of those
men also who took me to all the great things in New York City where
I grew up and because my mother wa an inveterable stay-=at=home
I remember all of those special days which lasted until my friends and social life took over. I think it helps a young woman immensely
to know the kind of man she wants when the time comes to pick her
own. I even had a grandfather like that and was doubly blessed.

i’ve used every adjective to describe the kind of father jude law is. he is a rarity..a big star who puts his family first. he has turned down many roles because it would interfere with his time with his children. he didn’t appear at a press conference with guy ritchie and robert downey bevcause his son was in a performance at shool and jude would not miss it. when people say i haven’t seen jude law in a while it’s because he doesn’t take too much time away to film big blockbusters if it interferes with his time with his kids…i don’t know of too many major stars who fall into that category. many are driven and put career first.
