OlderPete Wentz Loves (And Hates) Brad Pitt
Fall Out Boy rocker Pete Wentz has taken to his blog again to list his “Top 9 Gripes of 2008″ as well as his “Top 9 Favorite Things of 2008″. Strangely enough, Brad Pitt’s latest movie, The Curious Case of Benjamin Button, made both lists.
GRIPE: “This is a weird one because it’s definitely on my top list as well. I just think i over hyped this in my own head. This gets nowhere near the [F. Scott] Fitzgerald short story based on the Mark Twain quote I would have imagined in my high school brain. I hate how jumpy the movie is and I honestly don’t think there is much chemistry between Brad Pitt and Cate Blanchett. I also think it’s kind of a cop-out to push it forward some sixty years in my mind just to have it conclude with some relation to Hurricane Katrina.”
FAVORITE: “It’s weird that I put this on both lists but the truth is you can’t deny [Director David] Fincher’s eyes for film. Also, I give it to Brad Pitt for picking interesting roles. The idea of this narrative is mind-blowing and at times I fell for the story.” (TCCOBB is in theaters now.)
Another notable Top 9 Favorite of Pete’s: “Watching John Mayer doing Van Halen better than Van Halen in an amphitheater in Southern California. Shirts optional, solos mandatory.”

He sucks if he thinks that Blanchett and Pitt had no chemistry. That was the best part of the film!
I just checked. Brad’s LATimes interview has over 1,800 posts. Good Lord.
I didn’t think Cate and Brad had chemistry either. In fact the whole Daisy/Benjamin relationship was the most boring part of the whole film. They should of let Benjamin continue his journeys and meet different people. No one cared about Daisy and that shows in the lack of nominations by Blanchett this year.
He is just a kid,He see’s his friend Mayer getting name in press by riding coatails of Jolie-Pitts, So he is Learning.Good teacher he has.

Wentz think A Simpson can sing. So I would not put too much stock in his opinions.
I think this kid is married to Jessica Simpson’s Sister.
This idiot couldn’t follow the story because he’s not too bright and he shouldn’lt let his love for John Mayer and desperate need for publicity cloud his judgement. No one would be taking about him if he wasn’t dropping Brad’s name. He should be blogging about his new born..douche!

When he ever blogged and said “there was a bounty on their heads” “like some other celebrities have said” Everyone should of known right then and there what he was up to. the title looks to me like all the other JJ titles, a bit suggestive but sticks with the story. i see nothing arguable about it, titles are meant to cause suspicion, that makes you read the article (that isn’t biased).

Of course it’s nothing like the short story! The film is a romance, the short story is sexist and depressing. He shoehorns the ’short story based on Mark Twain quote’ in so he can make sure everyone knows he’s aware of this. God this kid is annoying. He’s so desperate for attention- stop giving it to him! And constantly ranting about Mayer- he’s rubbish.
Why is this person significant. Jennifer has in effect shut John’s mouth up.. But Pete is talking non stop.. First all the inappropriate things regarding his and Ashlee’s love life, and next her breast milk…. yuck.. Just like the post from Brody Jenner.. He said something about Brad too. These are children doing what children do….

So it’s not really “Brad Pitt.” It’s Benjamin Button that he hates/loves. I wish they’d stop using famous people’s names to get hits.

Actually, people like him in Hollywood who want to be forever young and stars …will NOT appreciate this movie. Button is the anti-thesis of Hollywood today.
It makes you re-evaluate your life. Life is short and live it. want it. own it.
When you follow the philosophy of the movie, you won’t spent time on your hair and applying eyeliner like Wnetz looks. Nor would you be reconstructing your nose like his wife.
