OlderPete Wentz Loves (And Hates) Brad Pitt
Fall Out Boy rocker Pete Wentz has taken to his blog again to list his “Top 9 Gripes of 2008″ as well as his “Top 9 Favorite Things of 2008″. Strangely enough, Brad Pitt’s latest movie, The Curious Case of Benjamin Button, made both lists.
GRIPE: “This is a weird one because it’s definitely on my top list as well. I just think i over hyped this in my own head. This gets nowhere near the [F. Scott] Fitzgerald short story based on the Mark Twain quote I would have imagined in my high school brain. I hate how jumpy the movie is and I honestly don’t think there is much chemistry between Brad Pitt and Cate Blanchett. I also think it’s kind of a cop-out to push it forward some sixty years in my mind just to have it conclude with some relation to Hurricane Katrina.”
FAVORITE: “It’s weird that I put this on both lists but the truth is you can’t deny [Director David] Fincher’s eyes for film. Also, I give it to Brad Pitt for picking interesting roles. The idea of this narrative is mind-blowing and at times I fell for the story.” (TCCOBB is in theaters now.)
Another notable Top 9 Favorite of Pete’s: “Watching John Mayer doing Van Halen better than Van Halen in an amphitheater in Southern California. Shirts optional, solos mandatory.”

Oh, he of little accomplishment married to another one of little accomplishment is so credible a critic………what a joke. The movie is over his little head. I’m sure Jen Jen the Jackass is so grateful for his diss. All is well in flake land. Who the hell cares what he thinks…..who is he anyway.
wow @ 01/03/2009 at 9:40 am #9, I doubt that what Pete was getting at, since the blog had 9 gripes and only the 2 that had anything to do with the Pitt/Aniston thing were the only ones mentioned. I don’t think Pete’s view of Benjamin Button was motivated by anything but his view of the film. I think that Just Jared wants you to get that from the blog, but that doesn’t seem to the be blog’s intent. It’s just another attempt to keep the Jolie/Aniston thing alive since it seems to drive many posts on this site.

I’ve notice that lately to. This site plays heavily into the triangle because it get a high number of post. It use people that have mental issues about husband leaving them and profit off it.
I think Pete need to go attend to his fat wife who has not lost all that fat flab from that baby. Then Pete need to deep kiss John Mayer while his wife work John down stair. That seems to be John Mayer’s specialty.
That Wentz is one very ugly guy. Yeah, right, they did not want to sell their baby pictures. Who is he kidding. NO ONE wanted to pay for them. He is a nobody that no one cares about. Get a grip Pete…NO ONE cares about you, what you have to say or your baby!!!!!!!!!!
I don’t know if this is true but I heard John Mayer is getting sued big time by Janie Hendrix who’s Jimi Hendrix’s step sister.
He also getting sued by Curtis Mayfield’s son Kirk and also the company that represents Radio Head for stealing all of those people music. John Mayer the douche bag just steals other people’s music it seems. I wonder do Pete know that his idol’s music woes.
I can understand why John Mayer need Jennifer Aniston now.

I have no idea who he is although I’ve seen his face on here. If that makes me look like an ass to you it’s not a problem for me. I’m way too old to give a toss. I tend to skip 90% of the faces on this blog because they hold no interest for me. But you keep on studying for your celeb exams sure you’ll pass with flying colours.
I am sorry. I respect opinions but cannot take a man seriously who has such an intimate relationship with his flat iron. He needs to put it down and step away from it!

Brad Pitt’s latest movie was awful. I left about mid way through it and asked for my money back from the manager of the movie. I was pleasantly suprised when he gave it to me and mentioned that I wasnt the only one;
I remember about him is the nasty crude things he said about his wife.
He had a blast with his old girlfriend Michelle Trachtenberg.
He gives it to his wife from the back.
he said he drinks his wife breast milk and it’s sour and weird.
This dude is a jerk. To say all that stuff about your wife after she has you baby. He is obviously gay and trying to hide his gayness.
I can see why he is friends with John Mayer they are the same kinds of jerk. Poor jerk is trying to get his name back in the media.

And yet many people loved it, including me. But in all fairness you are not alone; my 20 yr. old nephew felt about it the same way you did. He thought it was deadly slow and I thought it was elegantly gentle.
I agree with Pete W. Brad & Cate doesn’t have any chemistry at all, but the movie CCBB is great. Cate looks much older than Brad though we know she is younger than Brad in real life.What I am saying is Cate B. looks a lot older even with the magic of make up.
That shows you how gay Pete is. John Mayer dumps his wife sister and Pete is still mooning over John. Pete sure is not an Jennifer Aniston fan because he would still be trying to make John pay for dumping Jessica Simpson. Just tells you Aniston fans need some serious help.
Who is this guy? Obviously, he did’t live anywhere near the theater where I live, because it was packed from Thursday (25th) to Sunday. The reason why I knew this because I wanted to watch it on Thursday and couldn’t get the ticket that night. Then I went to the theater again on Friday and Saturday yet no luck getting a ticket. Finally, I saw it on Sunday night. I and my friends had to sit on the stairs because we came in about 5 minutes late. The whole theater was packed. Even most of the seats at the front were unavailable. We found 4 seats left at the fourth row in front after 20 minutes. At the end, people gave a big applause. So, who is this guy that he thinks he knows what a good movie is???

I went to see M&M and as soon as I saw maniston looking so DESPERATE with her face FULL of that botox and Got me confuse with a HORSE I walk out of the theatre and thank God the man give my money back.
I hope MM makes another 100.000.000 millions by next week as her Picture fully NAKED to sell that DOG movie in BEGGING DOG positions seems to be working.. you do anything when you desperate you know.. what a shame she is still crying her self to sleep every night.

Pete never had an original thought in his life so you know he said that because he know John Mayer got involved with the triangle.
I don’t respect any man in the middle of that triangle junk. Real men don’t mess with that sh!t. John Mayer and Pete Wentz are not real men.
Like I said - these younglines of 20s …early 20 something …just might not get Benjamin Button. Ironically, I consider it the movie that will haunts you later on in life when you find out that

Len LT, The same thing happened to me. Our group of 4 people tried to get in to see TCCOBB and couldn’t Christmas day. A lot of people were turned away with us. We went home got on the phone and tried every showing and finally got seats for the midnight showing on Saturday. My friend who lives in Miami (I live in New York) told me she had the same problem but she was able to get in a 11:45pm Friday night. People were getting turned away all over the states.
So it’s clear Pete don’t know what he is talking about and feeding off Mayer’s situation. To me that’s gay of Pete. I would think he would be busy with his kid and Ashlee, not worrying about Mayer and how he can please him. That’s just too weird.

It makes you re-evaluate your life. Life is short and live it. want it. own it.
When you follow the philosophy of the movie, you won’t spent time on your hair and applying eyeliner like Wnetz looks. Nor would you be reconstructing your nose like his wife.
