OlderLeonardo DiCaprio & Bar Refaeli: Cabo Couple
Leonardo DiCaprio and Israeli supermodel Bar Refaeli spend their New Year’s together in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico on Thursday (January 1).
The couple was accompanied by a few friends, including Entourage star Kevin Dillon (white shirt), Rande Gerber (gray board shorts, Cindy Crawford’s husband) and Leo’s BFF, actor Lukas Haas (fedora). David Arquette took a small break from his wife Courteney Cox to also hang with the boys.
Leo’s latest film Revolutionary Road, is up for a Golden Globe for best picture. The ceremony will be telecast live at The Beverly Hilton next Sunday, January 11 @ 8PM ET/PT on NBC.

Some pics the guy with Bar isn’t Leonardo DiCaprio!
um….I’m not a fan and not a hater of Bar Refaeli, too….but I found a site about her and her mother (who was also a model and tried herself as actress in her native country, so Bar is actually from her birthday on a celeb kid)…and it gave me to think about this girl….
It seems she is more or less a ‘product’ of her mom…from her birth on…her mom tried to become as famous as her daughter now but her dreams came not far outside her native country…she married some nightclub owner (but maybe dreamed of a love story with Warren Beatty, lol…they met each other someday in the 1970s, see here: http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_ZHuBM57v13E/R9-SUmxqTvI/AAAAAAAABvI/UutFRtp130g/s1600-h/Beatty_Tzipi_Levin.JPG )…but then divorced him in order to marry Bar’s father, a farmer…her career as model and actress was gone…

Anyways, it is a little bit arrogant from her to claim her name ‘BAR’ was more or less a ‘creation’ of her mom and because of the fact she was born to a celeb mother a many girls and boys born after her birth were also named ‘Bar’ in honor of her or so….naivity or arrogance?….hhhhmm….idk

I found interesting the fact that Bar (and probably her agent mother) knew the guy who was organizer of the party for U2 were Leo and she met each other for the first time (perhaps she was the ’special’ guest there, lol)….it smells after a good arranged ‘Venus Trap’, LOL, and Leo was naiv enough to fall into it…..her mom had just a nightclub owner (a romance with W.Beatty didn’t work out, I guess, lol) and in her 2nd marriage a (rich) farmer…but her daughter can and should do it better…with a love story (later marriage not excluded) to a Hollywood star…Well, excellent strategy gals, LOL…

love or not…fact is, Bar needs Leo especially now, at least until her first movie come out (release date only in USA on May 3 this year) and I guess for promotion around that time. She probably called and alerted the paparazzi about where they were staying. What makes me think that is there are far more photos of her than him and he obviously has more cache than her. She is using him for publicity. As much as I like him as an actor, he is a fool not to see this. For someone like him who prefers privacy, he should dump this publicity-seeking girl. Intellectually, she doesn’t appear to bring much to the table.

Rose, you are probably right. It is well known in Israel that Bar or her family frequently tip the paps off to her location so that they can get photos of her. She probably faxed the paps a map to the resort in Cabo with a big X on it so that they would be sure to know where she was, so that they could be sure to get photos of her with all the other celebs! LMAO! And French, so right, no one there is even taking any notice of her or cares about her. They have her number - Leo is an idiot for not seeing this fake famewhore for what she is!!!
