Katie Holmes holds her daughter Suri, 2 1/2, as they leave the theater after a performance in NYC on Sunday.
Since moving to the city six months ago, Katie Holmes has reportedly spent a staggering $14 million in New York Page Six claimed.
“While ordinary city dwellers are cutting back, Mrs Cruise has been valiantly doing her bit to boost our economy,” the magazine said. “We tally up a conservative estimate of her 24-week NYC spending spree, and crown her Manhattan’s Most Valued Shopper.”

So what if she spent $14,000,000.
$1620 of it was spent on toys for needy children at a $50,000 PR stunt.

Well,
Elizabeth, a lot of actors are on broadway and they don’t look as haggard as she does. She has help–bodyguards, drivers, maid, cook, nanny etc. Most of these actresses and actors on Broadway make a fraction of what Tom Cruise does–like less than a half percent. Many of them, even the well known actors that people come out to see because they have talent, not because they are married Cruise, make very little compared to other salaried positions. Many of them don’t have help, but have husbands and kids.
They manage not to look haggard. All Katie has to do now is show up. And if she wasn’t pimping Suri constantly, she probably could sneak in and out of the apartment and the theater. BUT, no she has to use her little PR pet to get attention.
