Katie Holmes holds her daughter Suri, 2 1/2, as they leave the theater after a performance in NYC on Sunday.
Since moving to the city six months ago, Katie Holmes has reportedly spent a staggering $14 million in New York Page Six claimed.
“While ordinary city dwellers are cutting back, Mrs Cruise has been valiantly doing her bit to boost our economy,” the magazine said. “We tally up a conservative estimate of her 24-week NYC spending spree, and crown her Manhattan’s Most Valued Shopper.”

people who suffer with bi-polar disorder often use “shoping spee’s” as a vent of sorts for unhappiness. It makes them feel good even comforted and cared for. It is often such a problem for them that they will spend money they don’t have. Look at what you’ve seen of her since the child was born. do you notice a pattern? If we can see it….then it should stand to reason those who live with her can as well.

Why in the world is everyone so worried about what the hell tom and katie do and how they raise there child..Its people like us that fuel there fire, so what if katie is unhappy she is a big girl she made her bed now she can lay in it! She may actually enjoy spending toms money i mean hell i would! I do have to say this what is up with the way he holds her hand i mean come on you can hold her beside u, he is always holding it up in front of him, and yes they do need to let that child walk and interact with other kids, i see other celeb kids playing with other celeb kids tomkats child is no better then any other child however i do feel for her when she is older lets hope she is wiser then her parents and learns from there mistakes!!

Katie looks awful, Suri looks exhausted. I agree with previous comments…….have the bodyguard carry Suri out to the car (with the blankie OVER her head), then let Katie sign autographs. I’m sure that Suri would be upset in the car, but at least she wouldn’t be in the middle of the frenzy.

#128, I know about Bi-Polar disorder, because my husband has it. He is on medication now. But, I lived with it for over 25 years. We even had to file for bankruptsy(sic?). He use to spend money that we did’nt even have by maxing out credit cards and bouncing checks! He finally got help when I threatened to leave him. But, there are so many other symptons that go along with the disease, such as rage and anger, racing thoughts and paranoia. I dont’t see that in Katie.
