I love how they used techniques to EMPHASIZE the lines as opposed to airburshing them out. Black and white photography makes this effect even more striking. I love it. W loves the Jolie-Pitts

And to all those who keep comparing this cover to other stars, if Michael Douglas and the James Bond guy (who? Sean Connery, Roger Moore, Pierce Brosnan?) had extreme close ups like this, they also will show their age, and it won’t be that “gracefully”. As for his statement about you can’t stop and have to keep moving? If he is referring to work - well then that’s proof of him once again contradicting himself. He said he was soon going to stop acting because it was a young man’s game. Same when he said he would never direct because he would leave it to the pros and the people who know what they are doing - and now he has plans to direct a film in the coming year or two.

He looks good. He has that glow in the dark picture happening.

The “work” he got done is the same work that all guests get “done” when on Oprah show. it’s a specialty of Oprah’s studio lighting. Look what it does for Oprah. Why aren’t you screaming about the work Oprah gets done everyday for her show cuz at home she sure looks hella different.

The quote Brad said a couple years back referred to his status as ‘LEADING MAN,’ you idiot…his exact words were, “I’ve got a few years left of a good run.” His only ‘leading man,’ role since then has been Button (and some argue that since he’s a senior citizen for half of it - that TOO is a character part) — I think you have to go all the way back to MAMS to see him in a true leading man role. So Brad is staying true to form…all his films, Babel, Burn After Reading, Button, Tree of Life, Inglorious Basterd, are CHARACTER ROLES. Brad never said he wasn’t going to ACT again - you dumb ass. I haven’t read his ‘director,’ quote - but if he wants to attempt it, he damn well should - if he’s as good a director, as he is a producer, and actor - we’d be in for some great stuff. I especially would like to see him direct Angelina - she may have even encouraged that…Paul Newman was a great director of Joanne’s.

Hello my fellow Jolie-Pitt fans, Happy New Year!

My husband and I, belatedly, went to see Benjamin Button!

My gosh, what a FANTASTIC movie. The theater on the upper westside was almost full on Monday evening, and audience reacted to every scene and laughed at every humor. It didn’t feel long and it was so touching.

BTW, provided that these projects get developed over the years, I couldn’t help but to notice that Brad must have been thinking about how not wasting his life, making the best out of his life, realizing that having the loved ones and family in his life is the most important thing. And this must be going through his head during the divorce and joining Angelina.

Nobody stays young forever, and it is frivolous and even grotesque to attempt to “look young” without mental maturity and for the sake of vanity. That is the kind of life and the frivolous spouse he left behind—he is clearly planning to grow old and spend the rest of his life with Angelina. It is very clear after seeing this movie, what has been in his mind, and his love of life and love of his family come through so strongly.

On a lighter note, we took a neighbor with us and she and I wowed and sighed at the sight of Brad transforming. I also got the glimpse of Shiloh when he is holding her while Cate looked down from the window. If you haven’t seen it yet, it is so so worth it, and go see it with your friend, loved ones, spouses…

Shoot, the man is gorgeous! Why are you people so hang up on his aging? Get a life. Brad was and is and alway will be gorgeous man.

His comment is probably toward media and this whole situation. The interview is taking placed because TCCOBB is one of Oscar’s runner , So the focus will be on the movie. And for this reason , I can’t see him being harshed on X. He wants oscar nods for his movie , Bashing her or putting her on her place won’t help. I just hope he will talk alittle about Angie and kids.

I love what Brad is doing in these pics. LOVE IT. He is exuding confidence and experience and also showing he is “bien dans son peau” - very comfortable in his skin.

Let’s face it - the man has had both men and women gasping and swooning at his physical beauty - still does. I’ve noticed (not just in these pics) in his magazine coveres that he’s just comfortable letting it all just be. No artifice.

I agree with a poster above who suggested that he may even want his so-called “flaws” to be emphasized and highlighted.

In the type of business he’s in, you have to have two things to do this:

1. Confidence - talk about A list, both he and Angelina are triple A list for life, based on their accomplishments and charisma. He’s a secure man who is comfortable with what he has achieved. He may even have doubted his talent and good fortune in the past as a pretty boy, but these days he knows he has proven his talent and self worth with all that he has given back of his time and money.

2. Happiness - family life has brought it in spades. Whenever I volunteer for lunch duty at my 8 yr old’s school I go back to work with a smile on my face. Children are just straight up honest, make you laugh, make you see what matters. Brad’s children could care less if he’s twice voted sexiest man alive. And last but not least, the love of a good, loyal and loving woman can do wonders for any man wise enough to appreciate it!

Sure, people have the right to think and say what they want, but there’s also a point of diminishing returns. You know what I mean? It’s gotten to be like Chicken Little. This isn’t the first round of “Jared Sucks” that we’ve played here. It happens a couple of times a year - be it because of the trolls, people stealing our IDs, not making people register their IDs, threads we don’t like, etc. People say they’ve had it, say they’re going to leave…there’s a big flurry to find alternative sites…and then it all blows over and it’s business as usual again. LOL. I even said as much last week before I started the Yahoo Group.

There just comes a time when people have to put up or shut up. Yes, we do in fact drive Jared’s site. Yes, we do in fact comprise the bulk of his hits and his business. However, if people are trying to get him to alter his site to their specifications, then staying is not affecting his bottom line. Only leaving will do that. But…the complainers never really leave. Jared can look at his sever logs and see that for himself. People just get over whatever was bugging them until the next thing comes along.

I can’t believe you are this dumb. Everyone ages including you. What will you do when your time comes? No amount of botox or plastic surgery can stop the inevitable that comes to all of us ie, the aging process. Did you see the picture of Debra Messing without make up? They all look their age without makeup and only the confident ones have the courage to do it, people like maniston always wears tons of make up when they go out, they will never go out barefaced, if you see them at night without their make up they will look different, their age will show — all of them. I am surprised that people can’t tell the difference makeup does and that the pictures they see does not reflect the way the actresses and actors really look. When you are young it is okay to go out without makeup, you will still look fine but once you’re 35 and above and to some from 30 you look different without make up compared to wearing full makeup. Makeup enhances your look but it is temporary. That picture of Brad in black and white is actually good. I admit the first time you see it, it is a bit over powering and right in your face but look at it again and stare at it a bit longer and you will see that it is not a bad picture. There is no wrinkles except a few lines on his forehead and a little bit round the eyes. For a 45yr old man I’ll say he looks great, his skin is very smooth. There is no 45yr old man or woman aging gracefully without a wrinkle or two on their face, show me one and I’ll tell you it is not real. They are either wearing tons of concealer or have had something done.

karma for brad: your comment doesn’t make sense. What is the karma here, aging which is normal progression of life and looking heathy, all his family healthy and at being at the peak of his career? I may agree with your views if not for 4 years of tabloid headlines of “Brad leaves Angie with Shiloh”, “Brad thinks he mad a big mistake by leaving Jen!”, “Brad’s mom tells Jen he is still in love with her!”, “Brad is not ready to marry Angie!”, “Angie traps Brad again by getting pregnant!”. I think the interview was done before the GQ interview and the USA Today on, where he said his lifer before Angie was dead end and only decided to have kids with angie, was after aniston’s GQ interview. Its very clear Brad was disappointed with her GQ interview and had to say something about her.

I think Brad is really just being nice to X so that this so called angie Vs Jen thing will stop. Because if Brad will say bad things about Jen, the triangle war continues, and worst it will become a Jen vs Brangelina battle, and of course Aniston will continue her pity me thing that she is being opressed by not one but 2 people, Brad And Angelina.

I think X should be ashmed now because she insinuates that B&A had an affair even before they got separated, now Brad had cleared the air again and said that there was no cheating and that Angie is not a homewrecker.

What else could Brad say about her, of course that she is sweetheart, knowing how she always act as the nice one, (but deep inside a very bitchy person).

Anyway, no matter how much nice things Brad would say about X, what remains as a fact was that Brad dumped for Angelina, and he is now a father of 6 with Angelina, with a hot career and is up for many major awards.

C’mon guys, How could Brad not say nice things about his ex-wife, when after he left her, she is still struggling with her own lovelife and still childless up to now. in all interviews or in whatever was said & will be said, there will always be different point of views, words can and will be interpreted differently by different people, which does not make it right nor wrong. one side will feel offended while the other side will see no wrong. ultimately, for me, what matters is how brad and angie feels with what brad had stated, which we may not know now nor in the future. they are together, in love, have said words celebrating the other person, finds fulfillment w/ one another…that for me is all that matters.

I agree with all of you if it wasn’t for Jen praising Brad to the max on Oprah and other media outlet. Jen did the same thing as Brad is doing. But, Jen went further had started critizing Angie and bascially stated that Angie broke her marriage to Brad. Vogue for example, Jen saying she wasn’t sure what was exactly going at the mr and mrs smith shooting (in 2004), plus her uncool comment, plus her considering the source comment…puts all the blame of her failed marriage on Angie.

It seems as if Brad and Jen are saying beautiful things about each other, while Angie is getting trashed by the media and there is no one to defend her. Brad even praises a woman who trashed his supposed love of his life. Nice!

Clooney doesn’t have any kids or any responsiblities as a man in his 40s should have. He is almost 50 and is known only as a certified player not even a girlfriend to worry about, he has no one to carry his family name should anything happen to him right now, I would actually say that at almost 50 with no responsibilities, he looks quite old because he doesn’t have any children or wife to care for. All he does like maniston is look after himself — number one, me me me, Brad on the other hand, is living a full life, has a family, responsibilies as a father to six children and is a loving and supportive partner. Who would you prefer? I know which one I would pick.

Again, Brad played this perfectly. It’s just like when someone insults you and you are gracious in reply. Everyone still knows the one doing the insulting is wrong. The insulter is still viewed as a loser but now seems even worse because the insulted is being so nice about it.

Yes, jen got dragged into the first round. But then, Angie got dragged into the second round. He’s careful not to blame x because that would be publicly slapping her and he doesn’t want to do that. So, he blames the tablies.

As for calling x a sweetheart, again better to call her that then call her a bi*ch. He doesn’t want to show any anger towards x. That is food for the tablies.

The proof of any love which may exist between Brad and Angelina are in the actions. Brad has a family with Angelina, he is almost always with her. He can’t help but touch her in the unconscious moments which are captured in film. Angelina seems to love him just as much, spending her time with him and wanting to be near him. He adopts her son and daughter and loves them like his own. She has been pregnant every year since 2005. He doesn’t disappear for months and she doesn’t travel without him. It shows in their actions.

You can, as some people do, scrutinise the actions and words of Brad and Angelina and try to work out who loves whom more. Does Brad love Angelina more or does Angelina love Brad more? I just hope to budha that you don’t take such a calculative approach to your real life relationships because if you do, you are headed for one unhappy relationship after another.

Because the true question isn’t - whether you love your husband more or vice versa or whether you give in 60% of the time and he only gives in 40% of the time. The true question is whether you and he are deeply happy and connected, share intimacies, have similar goals, enjoy each other companies, support each other to grow and be the best that they can be.

Can we deny that since starting her relationship with Brad, Angelina is the best that she has been in a long while, both professionally and personally? Her last 3 films have grossed more than 1 billion dollars in the BO alone (not including DVD) and her performances in AMH and Changeling have been nominated in SAGS, CCA and GG. She is a respected humanitarian. She has the large family she dreamt of having. And Brad - very similar achievements.

Seems to me, that as fans, worrying about what the tabs might say or some loonie xhen might say because of what Brad had said in 2 lines of a longer interview is just stupid.

Hello to all fans! Bravo Brad!! I am happy to see two things: 1. He looks like a MAN, a 45 years old man that has 6 children and takes care for them! I’m a bit dissapointed on Brad defending X. statement. He don’t need to bash her but can’t he just not answer. anything regarding X.

Sure, the media created this triangle but X and her PR guru flame it up. if she only acted like Reese W. or Nichole Kidman in the very beginning and not started the pity party wagon. there will be NO BERMUDA TRIANGLE ! and when the triangle started melting down, X sure knew how to reflame it and reminded us the evil Angie stole her husband thru her “uncool ” statement.

First of all, Brad has never even remotely indicated that he wanted an Oscar. He never even fought for producer credit for The Departed when it was his company that started the ball rolling on that movie. This interview with W just confirms that he valued and still does value his time with Jen. Yes he’s moved on now, but that doesn’t mean everything in his life before was meaningless to him.
