Brad Pitt Covers ‘W Magazine’ February 2009
Brad Pitt takes the black-and-white February 2009 cover of W Magazine.
Earlier today, E! reported that Brad might be a surprise guest at tomorrow night’s People’s Choice Awards.
The 45-year-old Curious Case of Benjamin Button star will possibly have a pretaped segment air during the live telecast. The ceremony will be hosted by Queen Latifah and will air TOMORROW @ 9PM ET/PT on CBS.
TCCOBB and Frost/Nixon lead the longlist nominations for the British Academy Film Awards with 14 nominations each. Slumdog Millionaire, The Reader, Revolutionary Road, Changeling and The Dark Knight grabbed 13 noms apiece, and Milk and Brad’s other movie Burn After Reading sport 11. Thanks for the pictures and information. BP is mighty fine and getting better with time. He is a devoted Partner and Dad. Benjamin Button is a great movie and BP is getting raves for his performance. BP and AJ are doing great work in their professional, artistic and humanitarian projects. It is all good.
He is flinging a shot at HW and his X types. Here’s real, he says. I’m not playing that game any longer. The deeper and more self-actualized he becomes, the less HW he will be. Having actually moved out of LA for all intense and purposes except for maintaining a base, he is shedding the plastic like a second skin. His X is age obsessed……..it’s another little message to her and the rest of Hollowwood.

STFU. he looks lot better than many 40 year old. look at your MANiston. she might has a nice body but her face is all dry and wrinkly from all the sun tanning. She uses botox. did you see her cheeks plumed up in Marley and Me photos. At least Brad did you botox.
Brad has sure lost his boyish good looks! He’s aged very quickly. Those wrinkles are really deep! The scruffy beard doesn’t help.
Nice photos, though. I like the stylized black-and-white.

Attention: In case you didn’t know it. It was always Maniston and her goddess circle who were obsessing about their ugly old assses and racing to dermas, plastic surgeons, and just plain over obsessing about the fug that was staring back at them in the mirror. THEY ARE THE ONES POSTING DENIGRATING BRAD’S ‘LOOKS,’ TOO, IN CASE IT WASN’T OBVIOUS. Brad was a witness to the superficiality, shallownesss and reportedly at her and the godess circles insistence indulged a few visits to a derma to get a laser peeling himself. But it’s also why whenever there’s a pic of Brad where God forbid he looks 45, you will get her ugly menopausal hens attacking him for daring to look like a REAL MAN. It shows how more than ever - he was only a piece of arm candy to juxtaposition against Maniston’s homeliness and fool people into thinking she was more than she was. They were all superficial, shallow, and over obsessed with ‘looks.’ Courtney Cox has admitted as much in several interviews now. She was one of them. She’s broken free of that it sounds like - but Maniston and her ugly pals have not. Maniston will continue to get her nose shaved, and bumped, and have her mini-lifts, and her derma peels.

That’s why there’s complete irony now in Brad’s life - he is literally with the most beautiful woman in the world who could give a sh*t what he looks like. You can see why films like Button NOW speak to Brad. He was with such a shallow plastic surgery victim for so long, he’s been freed up to embrace life and living like never before…and being a REAL MAN.
I love how they used techniques to EMPHASIZE the lines as opposed to airburshing them out. Black and white photography makes this effect even more striking. I love it. W loves the Jolie-Pitts
He’s 45 years old, he can’t be looking younger every year. The most important is he is aging gracefully. He is being himself on the cover, he can’t please everybody but for his fans & Angie HE IS THE BEST. The most important thing is what he is inside. He is not into physical look anymore but what’s within. God bless the Jolie-Pitt’s.

And to all those who keep comparing this cover to other stars, if Michael Douglas and the James Bond guy (who? Sean Connery, Roger Moore, Pierce Brosnan?) had extreme close ups like this, they also will show their age, and it won’t be that “gracefully”. I wonder how George Clooney and Tom Cruise will appear with this extremely tight close-up.

These photos were taken back when he was in New York for Changeling premiere (end of October) before he went to LA to get some work done on his face - in which was obvious during is appearance on Oprah (Day after Obama won - Nov 6?), which was taped after he got the work done in LA
As for his statement about you can’t stop and have to keep moving? If he is referring to work - well then that’s proof of him once again contradicting himself. He said he was soon going to stop acting because it was a young man’s game. Same when he said he would never direct because he would leave it to the pros and the people who know what they are doing - and now he has plans to direct a film in the coming year or two.
