Daniel Craig Premieres Defiance in London

We’re not bashing Dan, we love him. We’re his fans.
We’re just disappointed that he’s allowing people like Sats to ruin his career.
We’re disappointed that he’s behaving like a drunk teenager right before a premier for a movie that he’s the star in that had talks about oscar nods.
We’re not bashing him, we are simply pointing out what is obvious and not sugar coating the obvious with “oh I’m sure they’re fine.”
What if you were in Liev’s shoes, you wouldn’t be pissed with DC for the antics he pulled in St. Barts just a few days before the premier!

I have a feeling I know what you’re talking about, a few days before the movie opens, and DC is off vacationing, acting like a fool, when he should have been with Liev promoting the movie. I agree, reallllllllllllly bad decision. The vacation could have waited until after the premiers.
They aren’t even looking at each other in any of the pics.
Okay, can someone help me out. Is Liev the same actor who played “Cotton” in the Scream movies?

All the actors ingored the protests, walked by them.
A group of them were protesting that Tuvia is a war criminal and shame on Hollywood for leaving the truth out.

Daniel ignored them.

These protests will be there for every premiere. a lot of peoplea re disgusted with Hollywood and the actors for not standing up for the real truth.

Liev by all accounts is super into this promotion and I hear is not well pleased.

These protests were expected but I think Liev wants a more hands on approach than Daniel.

I think Daniel wants to move on while Liev has a lot more riding on this.

Naomi Watts would not have been there even if she didnt have a baby. You can tell by Liev he is more genuine about this and doesnt need the glam like Daniel.

I absolutely agree with you. DC seems more concerned about how he looks, and he looks like he’s thinking, “Fine, I’ve been snubbed so I’m going to the premiers like I have to and that’s it.”
While if he was a decent fella, he would help Liev, knowing that he might get a nod of best supporting, just to help a friend. Afterall, what goes around comes around. Help him out, be hands on, do what it takes to help Liev knowing he has a lot riding on this, and then maybe one day, someone will do the same for DC.
But you know what, I think Sats has a lot to do with how DC is acting. I can see her telling him, if they want to snub you, then you snub them back. I think he knew when he left LA that he wasn’t going to make the list, and I think Sats made him decide, fine fuch it, then I’m going on vacation and I’ll show them. That may have been why the whole vacation seemed staged, to show hollywood that he’s still a star with mega bucks and to remind that that “hey, I’m fuchin bond baby.”
I don’t know, but I I wouldn’t sprised if something along those lines happened.
But I’m very disappointed in DC, for his behavior, and not being there for a friend. Very selfish. I don’t blame Liev for being pissed with him in the least bit. DC needs to grow up. He’s loosing respect of a lot of people. I’ve always been a fan, but his recent behavior is extremely disappointing.

Daniel is appearing non-chalant at this now. Whether he was told or by whom I cant say.

I BET he is pissed at her for trying to cause a rift or trying to come between Daniel and his co-stars…causing upsets among the cast.

I really don’t get it. I have the expression this is all about Daniel bashing.
I’ve seen this movie and I got a totally other impression:
The “sex-scene” (you hardly can call it a sex scene) and kissing scene have been placed very carefully and for a certain reason.
They showed that these people, who survived under circumstances which we all (at least those of us who were born after the second world war)
cannot imagine at all) how these people have build up a comunity and have organized there life as normal as possible.
Why are these scene needles, the kissing scene of Jamie Bell and the scene of celebrating a wedding not?
These people have married, they have got children, some men have chosen a “forrest-wife”, despite the fact that they have already been married.
That’s the human nature, even in those circumstances, to survive, to reproduce.
And this movie doesn’t conceal that one of the driving forces of the brothers has been revenge, it’s as simple as that.
Tuvia took revenge by shooting the police-officer and his sons and Tuvia and Zus have been on a personal venetta at night, seeking revenge by killing nazi-collaborators. This isn’t glorified at all and shown at its terrible cruelty.
Seems as if some people want to shred this movie into pieces by all means.

247- agree, there are definite shifts happening here on many levels.. Dan always enjoyed the ‘ensemble” part of films and casts and working within a “family” like what happens as a journey making a film.

Although he may be outspoken, it just seems a bit off for him to be so selfish and “me first” in promoting a film that he is in?

I am sure that cooler heads are talking with him, privately, and maybe setting him straight on some “facts” or what others may have said or did not say…objectivity that daniel may NOT be able to see or find with her.

I think that somehow, some people are going to start to pull him away from her and he may be hearing things from all different sides, not just from her.

Her “influencial” (?) ground may be crumbling under her own feet and at her own doing.
