You summed it up perfectly.
I can’t put my finger on it, but the minute I first saw her, I got a really bad feeling about her.
I tried to like her, I really did. But something just kept nagging at me about her.
There’s a coldness to her that comes across even in photographs.
And then I started hearing these stories about her from people I know who work in the industry. How at Cannes she told someone that “He’s my property” when she saw another woman talking to Dan.
How she told someone to “fuch off” in a loud voice at a party.
How she is never friendly with his fans, and ignores them.
And yes, she seems to be rubbing it in to his fans “He’s mine, you’ll never have him.”
I tried to like her, I really did, but I just could not get rid of the bad feeling I had about her. And now, my feelings seem justified.
God knows I may be wrong, but I think she is truly bad for him.
I remember him before her, and he seemed so sweet, friendly, playful, he has become this whole different person since being with her, and it hasn’t been a change for the better.
He doesn’t look happy anymore, he seems selfish, it’s like she is teaching him to be like her. It’s not good.
I like Dan, I don’t know him personally, but he does seem like a good guy, and for his own sake, I hope he begins to listen to what others tell him. I would hate to see him fail. He really is/was a magnificant actor. If he can get back the passion he had before, there is no doubt that one day he will get an oscar, maybe even two. But he has to wake up and see what’s happening in his life.

Oh I don’t know, because he got snubbed for all the major awards; because he’s the star but Liev is being considered for a possible best supporting nod for an Oscar but he’s been snubbed; because the movie itself has been snubbed for an Oscar, even though he went to LA for a week to try to campaign at least the movie for a nod, but instead it was snubbed, because the only Golden Globe acknowledgment is for best score. I think there’s a lot that he’s angry about, especially since there was a lot of talk about a oscar nod for best picture, and then WHAM, snub, snub, snub, snub.
You wouldn’t be angry, I know I would be.

I have a hard time believing he would listen to her directions either, but why is she even on the set. It makes no sense. Okay, so she goes and watches, that’s fine, but why give her anything to do at all.
She’s not working on the film, she’s not being paid to do anything. Just sit and watch if you have nothing else to do and let him work.
Do wifes of doctors and lawyers go to their office and advise their husbands on how to do their jobs, no, they have other things to do, and the husbands would never allow it. So why is Daniel allowing this, I just don’t get it!

Trust me, significant others can greatly influence thier partners. We trust our significant others, we believe them, we trust they would never do anything to hurt us, that they will protect us and give us the best advice. I know I trust my signficant ohter will always have my back.
Signifcant others have the biggest influence in our lives. Sats can definitely have a strong influence in his life if he trusts her.
But sometimes, our trust is abused for selfish motives and reasons, and that is when significant others hurt people they say they love.

SatSelfish’s TRUE colors are sure coming to the surface now.
HER ADVICE is really spinning Daniel in the wrong direction, and i think he is going to sit up and take stock…hopefully ASAP or sooner!!

And I know others around him are seeing this and hopefully pulling him aside…people who are close to him and see the toll it is taking and the results of her “advice”…if he is indeed taking it.

What makes you so sure she has other motives and does not have his best interest at heart? If he has been with her this long he must feel she does and he is secure with her no?

Ok so we know she is not a good acting coach but I am sure that is not the reason he is with her in the first place. This is not a business relationship its a romantic one so all he has to do is stop taking her advice on acting and focus on the romance that brought them together in the first place. I am sure if she wants to work she can but maybe he does not want her too and they have agreed on other things.

THeir relationship started as a business relationship and still is. She started working for him, and still is.
The going out/girlfriend part came later on.
DID NOT start out as a romance.
ROmance did not bring them together in the first place,
All of this has been previously explained …

But things can change and it seems that it has and she is no longer a paid gf but a real gf no?

271- NO- she is paid and works for daniel.
Please do not ask me how much she makes, or if she gets paid weekly or monthly… or in what manner the payment comes , your guess is as good as mine on that one :)

274- YES, …true…Daniel does have a decision that is probably being mapped out for him, similar to what you are saying….
and in addition to that…the old saying, “DON’T MIX BUSINESS WITH PLEASURE” is very applicable in this case.

People get involved in business to MAKE MONEY.
TO mix love/personal emotions up with that CAN get VERY MESSY and difficult to extricate yourself from.

There are different motives for making money, business and for love and loving someone.

I think -I HOPE - Daniel is waking up to “Smelling that pot of coffee” now!
