Tom and Katie Jump At Japanese
Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes walk hand-in-hand after sharing a romantic dinner at Japanese restaurant, Nobu, in New York City’s Tribeca on Tuesday night (January 5).
A musical version of Finding Neverland is in the works and the part of Sylvia Llewelyn Davies has been offered to Katie Holmes, reports The Telegraph. Katie beat out Kate Winslet, who portrayed Sylvia Llewelyn Davies in the 2004 film Finding Neverland. Winslet’s spokesperson confirmed she will not be a part of the musical.

I agree with who ever said she looks like the man. Tom looks like the wife when they are side by side.
I didn’t realize how big boned she is. She makes him look like a shrimp.
There is NOTHING sexy about her. My mom is 50 and she looks younger and better than Katie. Katie is just one of those girls that guys don’t want to date or screw, they just use her to get to other girls–girls that are sexy and pretty.

Tom, looks better then he ever did, weight loss and new hair, he always had bangs, this is way more becoming, what a face. No wonder Suri is so adorable. They are always dressed great, letme tell you, whoever thinks this couple isnt happy and isn’t great looking and classy,well then, they are just drinking that same old Branagelina Kool Aide, and they are all even more miserable because they have to look at tom/kate in nyc all the time and are so missing their heros! (who are in France and could give a hoot about fans)! At least tom and kate walk the streets of nyc and aren’t smug! I’ll take them, anytime over the others (In France) !
Damn! What a good looking couple. I swear Tom Cruise gets better & better as he ages. No more pudgy, he got that GQ look down! Love his clothes. Katie, well what can one say, she’s adorable, sweet looking and love her fashions. She seems so down to earth.

Trendsetter? I guess that is why she is always in the bottom ten percent for fashion choices in People, Style and Hello fashion polls. For her shorts outfit, she got 5% voting for vs. 95% against (meaning she looks good vs. dreadful). This woman for some reason can’t dress herself even though she has millions of dollars at her disposal.
So Puh-Leez, you aren’t convincing anyone that she is fashion forward. She isn’t in with what is in now, she isn’t projecting fashion trends, and basically she is just taking bits and pieces from various trends, fashion pasts and combining them. And the result is utter utter fashion disaster.
Why do they always walk so far apart? I guess it makes Tommy boy look taller? Katie “14 milliondollar shopper” needs some serious dark circle under the eyes remover perhaps plastic surgery? After dropping 14 mil I guess anyone would be tired shopping can be draining.

I guess I feel they pimp this child out because Katie could have the Nanny deliver her and pick her up from the theater and she doesn’t. She carries the child herself. She also as does Tom frequently holds the child facing out. How many other people do this? Brad, Angie, Ben, Jennifer, the Stefanis etc. All hold the child facing in where they have more control over protecting the child’s head and body in the case of an over zealous pap. I realize that Tom is pap friendly, but I think this is ridiculous.
Think about it? How exactly is Suri going to grow up to be a healthy individual when this constant flash, yelling etc. is constantly surrounding her. Connor and Bella, although adopted before the blog craze, were fiercely protected by both Tom and Nicole. They both said they tried to shelter and shield the kids. So is Suri not worth the same protection? I also think Tom is desperate for positive press. I think he is very controlling from what interviewers, Nicole, some professionals in the business have said. Almost all interviewers that have ever spoken tell us that he controls the interview from start to finish. Nicole has alluded to this. His former publicist also had an extraordinary amount of power when it came to the media. If you offended Kingsley then she would not only keep Cruise off your pages/show etc., but also her other clients. The blogger Lainey said he came to her television station and he had to control everything and when he wasn’t in control he was nervous.
He lives for public adoration. And if he can get it thru Suri I think he does. Katie to me (I realize we have sort of had this discussion) is vapid, fawning, and a brainless twit in this relationship. Tom can say she is a strong woman all he wants, but her actions have been that of a vapid, fawning wimp. Why she lets the paps assault her daughter this way is beyond me.
Obviously this is an area we are not going to agree. I do know there are ways in NYC to be completely private. Tom and Katie choose not to use them the majority of the time. YOu don’t go to Nobu for dinner if you want privacy. Tavern on the Green or a few other places would guarentee your privacy if you asked. We didn’t see Tom and Katie for three or four days around Christmas, I doubt that they stayed home the entire time–so they crept in and out of that apartment and I guess I don’t understand why they don’t do that more when Suri is around.
Fembot beat out Kate WInslet? I bet this was the PR usage by the Scientologists, and Kate herself never wanted to be in the musical anyway

If Cruise is so media savvy, don’t you think he would have heard your silly complaints and changed his suspicious actions? Of course he wants positive press but he also doesn’t seem to care much about people telling him how to live his life since despite so many complaints, he continues doing what he feels like doing. Like going to a popular restaurant.
Ever considered that when they’re not seen it’s a combination of luck and not going in public much and that at least some of the times when they’re seen in public it’s legitimately spontaneous?

You look at these pictures every day. In over half of them the child looks distressed. In about a third to a half they hold her facing out.
People like Tom Cruise go to Nobu to been seen. It is a well known star magnet. Paps hang out there. So if he didn’t want to be seen, believe me there are plenty of other places in NYC that would welcome him and give him privacy.
When Tom and Katie aren’t seen, it is because they don’t want to be seen.
Go to the Pitt thread and click on the link to the W magazine interview and read the first couple of paragraphs about how he orchestrates (or his people do) getting to the interview. Tom knows how to do the same thing–when he wants to.
