Penelope Cruz Circles Her Critics
Penelope Cruz glows at the 2008 New York Film Critic’s Circle Awards at Strata on Monday in New York City.
The 34-year-old actress won for Best Supporting Actress in Vicky Cristina Barcelona.
Also, Sean Penn’s Milk earned three awards at the New York Film Critics Circle, including Best Actor for him, Best Supporting Actor for co-star Josh Brolin, and Best Picture.

Wow she looks gorgeous! Have never been a fan, but seeing her in Vicky Christina Barcelona totally changed my opinion of her as an actress. I can see why she is nominated for the movie. She and Javier Bardem totally stole the movie! Without them, it would’ve been a complete farce. I didn’t even notice Scarlett Johannson most of the time.

Penelope looks beautiful! She is one of my favorites. I saw Vicky, Christina, Barcelona and while I really enjoyed it, this was not an Oscar or an award wining performance for her. She was better in Volver. I also do not think Josh Brolin did anything special in Milk. He gave a flat performance IMHO. Amy Adams should get nominated and win any awards out there for her outstanding performance in Doubt. Heath Ledger is the only actor who should win supporting. His Joker is in a class all by itself. Even Philip Seymour Hoffman, who was wonderful in Doubt, cannot touch Heath’s Joker. And Josh Brolin can forget it. I would rank Hoffman and James Franco in Milk way ahead of Brolin. And they can’t come close to Heath.
All your mistakes, even thatone with tommy(cruise), ar forgiven because you’re a “SIGNORITA IN BARCELONA”!!

biography..Heath is a loser who could not stand the fact that he was
an addict.. to prescription drugs… He was the loser not Josh, Phillip
or Robert Downey Jr. or Tom Cruise who are here today to attend the
award shows that they are nominated for..
Penelope has done ten times better than Katie Holmes has ever done
