Zac Efron Voices Adult Swim’s “Robot Chicken”
Zac Efron sheds his goody-two-shoes image to voice the character of lounge singer “Billy Joel” in this new clip from Adult Swim’s animated series Robot Chicken.
In the show, the 21-year-old former High School Musical star beats a sailor over the head with a beer bottle, dumps his body in the ocean and manically laughs about it.
Zac even gets to belt out his own rendition of Billy Joel’s “The Piano Man”! But in the end… his character gets brutally (but amusingly) stabbed to death.

When was this picture taken? Is it from 2008 or 2009 I’ve never seen it before.
Peggy, I did have the exact date on that picture but can’t find it at the moment but it is very recent, no more than 10 days , I think.

I was just wondering if it was taken after the New Year since I’d seen most of last years pixs..
I can see some of the lines in that “Piano Man” song being a parody on Zac’s life and the way fans worship him. Even how people in the business try to persuade him with money to do roles that are bad for his career.
They put bread in my cup and their lies all suck could refer to a certain director who might be holding out $$$$ to lure Zac into doing a particular movie.
If I quit this game they’d lose all interest in living since life would have no meaning and they’d blow their brains out onto the floor. could refer to the over zealous fans who have give up their lives to focus on Zac’s. Mainly, on Zac and Vanessa.
Down on your knees I’m the piano god, pray to the songs that I strum. Tell me I’m too good to work here, then put my balls right on your tongue. could refer to the fans who idolize him for his sex appeal and not for his acting ability. The “HE’S SO HOT!!!!” and I’ll die if I don’t see pictures soon” fans.
Anyway, I thought it was funny. Wonder if he wrote any of the lyrics?

yes, that pic was taken recently in ikea. they sell furnitures- like do it yourself. probably late dec 2008 because of van’s hairdo. well she is busy remodelling her home hence the furniture shopping..

I believe the picture is from the very end of December. And even though I have never been to an IKEA furniture store it is suppose to have everything to furnish a house and it is not some high-end priced store. You can look up IKEA furniture on the internet and get info on it as they have a website.
About the wedding–Seatle and LA by plane is really fast. And as I saw on another board someone said if the wedding is on Saturday then getting back in time for a Sundsay night gig would be easy.
Actually if the wedding was in the afternoon on Saturday you could fly back the same night.
That’s if you fly commercial there are also private planes.
I haven’t read any confirmation that Vanessa is a bridesmaid just speculation.
Ikea furniture is modern and the place is well known for its “build your own” book shelves.

One of my friends says she thinks the picture was taken last Saturday so that would be January 3.
BTW, my friend is pretty reliable and remembers things like dates on these pictures.
Wow, they get around, and Zac still looks like he just graduated from HS….they look comfortable…I guess V does have lots of decorations she’ll be needing to do for her new house.
Wow, #110 Malia, those are some interesting points you’ve pointed out…well, I wasn’t sure if I wanted to read to deeply into what he’s singing or whom it could pertain too….Well, this just goes to show you that we don’t know who’s Zac’s circle of friends are, and who even wrote this song for the Piano God to sing.
#119, Karen, I remember seeing the fan picture of Zac and Vanessa somewhere with a January date on it. Also, looks like Zac’s hair is a tad shorter as if he got a slight trim since the before-Christmas pictures.
BTW, from all the Zac interviews I’ve seen (and the HSM3 pranks), he has a good sense of humor and can easily poke fun at himself.

I can’t believe that he just said in the song but it was really and i don’t know why but i laugh when he got killed.
