OlderBrad Pitt Denies Angelina Jolie Affair
Brad Pitt proudly proclaims that his partner Angelina Jolie is NOT a homewrecker. Here’s what the 45-year-old Curious Case of Benjamin Button star had to say in W Magazine’s February A-list issue::
On the public’s misinterpretation of his and Angie’s “affair”:“What people don’t understand is that we filmed [Mr. & Mrs. Smith] for a year. We were still filming after Jen [Aniston] and I split up. Even then it doesn’t mean that there was some kind of dastardly affair. There wasn’t. I’m very proud of the way that it was handled. It was respectful. [The film] will mean something to our kids. It will, that’s all.”
On Aniston’s recent comment that it was “uncool” for Angie to openly state that she and Brad fell in love on the set of Mr. & Mrs. Smith: “Listen, man, Jen is a sweetheart. I think she got dragged into that one, and then there’s a second round to all of that Angie versus Jen. It’s so created.”
On his current relationship with Jennifer Aniston: “We still check in with each other. She was a big part of my life, and me hers. I don’t see how there cannot be [that]. That’s life, man. That’s life.”
On photographing Angie for W magazine’s November 2008 photo spread: “We have fun working together; these things bring you closer. And let me tell you, it’s really sexy to see your loved one through the lens. I went much further [than the cover shot of Jolie breast-feeding]. I didn’t show those.”
On what motivated his request for photographer Chuck Close, who uses a technique called Daguerrotype that captures every fine line and flaw: “[to not have to be] the guy coming out of the ocean water with his T-shirt wet, even though I’ve done that, too, but have always walked away feeling a little crap about it.”
On how family life has changed him: “I quit smoking. That was the only thing that got me to quit. That was it. Done.”
On gay marriage rights: “People who are against gay marriage do not understand the very freedoms that they themselves are enjoying. What if someone said, ‘Sorry, no Christianity here? No Judaism. Certainly no Mormons.’ No one would stand for that, and I wouldn’t allow anyone to say that either. I’d fight them in the same way.”

I love men. Men who stand up for their women, Did you see what Paul Bentley said when a reporter asked him why his wife was so skinnny? Paule said his wifes dad just died. That put a stop on any further drug or anorexic rumors. Hell, even Ashton Kutcher can speak well enough to praise his lovely older wife. Brad?? You are dead on the money! This is a brilliant post. As much as I’d LOVE to see Brad smack down X…in the end it would be turned against Angie and SHE would suffer the backlash. He really can’t make it anymore clear - he didn’t cheat. He said in Rolling Stone that Angie was one of the most honorable people he’d ever met. THAT should have been a clue to people that she was telling the truth when she said she couldn’t live with herself if she slept with a married man (as in a committed marriage, not a separation!) after what happened to her mother. Once again…it comes down to people simply refusing to believe that HW actors can not only have ethics, but actually live by them.

She’s the sassiest young lady in a very famous family and today is her 4th birthday. Happy Birthday Miss Zahara!

Great !! He finally told the world that Jen knew about his love for Angie. And that he and Angie started seeing each other after the LEGAL seperation. So in a since he has told Jen, no more “uncool” comments from you. And no more Vanity Fair comments suggesting she didn’t know of his attraction to Jolie.
He could have attacked Jen for fueling the fires to the Team A and Team J but instead he was a gentleman and called her a “sweetheart”. So how can Jen now attack a his love, he has been nothing but kind to her.
And he stated they still check in on each other. Please don’t blow it out of perportion saying he still loves Jen. IMHO I think it just says his reps sends a messege every now and then, maybe wishing her a Happy Birthday or congrats on a good film.
I don’t see how Jen will ever be able to play the pity party, I didn’t know what was going on victim again.
I think Brad has finally put an end to all of this. Thus leaving his family to live their lives in peace.

After all, Brad’s saying would have either zero effects on him or a slight negative effects on his public image perception. The only person who will benefit from it is…Angie.

Be aware than if you wants to pin point his mishandlings what he said could have a negative effect on him and Aniston, not Angie. Au contraire, if negative effect do result, it won’t affect Angie as she will be perceived as the only loyal and honest, the one that was played oout by both ex lovers and unjustifiably used and abused by all players, the media included. I don’t see how his saying could taint badly her image.

I am always baffled by the stupid hopes of theJenhens acuse It is unlikely but even in another life Brad was ever gonna be too much physically sympathetic or too close to Aniston, let alone going back to her, the nightmare that Angie was submitted too woul be a peacefull walk comparing to the rage that te public and media would have towards an aging woman homewrecking a couple with six young kids, even if that woman was once married to that man.
