OlderBrad Pitt Denies Angelina Jolie Affair
Brad Pitt proudly proclaims that his partner Angelina Jolie is NOT a homewrecker. Here’s what the 45-year-old Curious Case of Benjamin Button star had to say in W Magazine’s February A-list issue::
On the public’s misinterpretation of his and Angie’s “affair”:“What people don’t understand is that we filmed [Mr. & Mrs. Smith] for a year. We were still filming after Jen [Aniston] and I split up. Even then it doesn’t mean that there was some kind of dastardly affair. There wasn’t. I’m very proud of the way that it was handled. It was respectful. [The film] will mean something to our kids. It will, that’s all.”
On Aniston’s recent comment that it was “uncool” for Angie to openly state that she and Brad fell in love on the set of Mr. & Mrs. Smith: “Listen, man, Jen is a sweetheart. I think she got dragged into that one, and then there’s a second round to all of that Angie versus Jen. It’s so created.”
On his current relationship with Jennifer Aniston: “We still check in with each other. She was a big part of my life, and me hers. I don’t see how there cannot be [that]. That’s life, man. That’s life.”
On photographing Angie for W magazine’s November 2008 photo spread: “We have fun working together; these things bring you closer. And let me tell you, it’s really sexy to see your loved one through the lens. I went much further [than the cover shot of Jolie breast-feeding]. I didn’t show those.”
On what motivated his request for photographer Chuck Close, who uses a technique called Daguerrotype that captures every fine line and flaw: “[to not have to be] the guy coming out of the ocean water with his T-shirt wet, even though I’ve done that, too, but have always walked away feeling a little crap about it.”
On how family life has changed him: “I quit smoking. That was the only thing that got me to quit. That was it. Done.”
On gay marriage rights: “People who are against gay marriage do not understand the very freedoms that they themselves are enjoying. What if someone said, ‘Sorry, no Christianity here? No Judaism. Certainly no Mormons.’ No one would stand for that, and I wouldn’t allow anyone to say that either. I’d fight them in the same way.”

So in a since he has told Jen, no more “uncool” comments from you. And no more Vanity Fair comments suggesting she didn’t know of his attraction to Jolie.
He could have attacked Jen for fueling the fires to the Team A and Team J but instead he was a gentleman and called her a “sweetheart”. So how can Jen now attack a his love, he has been nothing but kind to her.
And he stated they still check in on each other. Please don’t blow it out of perportion saying he still loves Jen. IMHO I think it just says his reps sends a messege every now and then, maybe wishing her a Happy Birthday or congrats on a good film.
I don’t see how Jen will ever be able to play the pity party, I didn’t know what was going on victim again.
I think Brad has finally put an end to all of this. Thus leaving his family to live their lives in peace.

Boy, people get their knickers in a twist about what Brad said.
Brad is quoted to say:

Yes, jen got dragged into the first round. But then, Angie got dragged into the second round. He’s careful not to blame x because that would be publicly slapping her and he doesn’t want to do that. So, he blames the tablies.
As for calling x a sweetheart, again better to call her that then call her a bi*ch. He doesn’t want to show any anger towards x. That is food for the tablies.
I don’t really care that delusional xhens or tablies run screaming that Brad still loves Jen because he calls her a sweetheart. Just as I don’t believe Jen loves Brad because she thinks he’s done great in the last 4 years, I don’t think Brad loves Jen because he calls her a sweetheart. Why should I care about what rubbish delusional people and people who make a living being nasty and mean say about anyone? Delusional people aren’t sane. And nasty people are just that, nasty. You can never get a really sincere good word out of them.
The proof of any love which exist between Brad and Angelina are in the actions. Brad has a family with Angelina, he is almost always with her. He can’t help but touch her in the unconscious moments which are captured in film. Angelina seems to love him just as much, spending her time with him and wanting to be near him. He adopts her son and daughter and loves them like his own. She has been pregnant every year since 2005. He doesn’t disappear for months and she doesn’t travel without him. It shows in their actions.
You can, as some people do, scrutinise the actions and words of Brad and Angelina and try to work out who loves whom more. Does Brad love Angelina more or does Angelina love Brad more? I just hope to budha that you don’t take such a calculative approach to your real life relationships because if you do, you are headed for one unhappy relationship after another.
Because the true question isn’t - whether you love your husband more or vice versa or whether you give in 60% of the time and he only gives in 40% of the time. The true question is whether you and he are deeply happy and connected, share intimacies, have similar goals, enjoy each other companies, support each other to grow and be the best that they can be.
Can we deny that since starting her relationship with Brad, Angelina is the best that she has been in a long while, both professionally and personally? Her last 3 films have grossed more than 1 billion dollars in the BO alone (not including DVD) and her performances in AMH and Changeling have been nominated in SAGS, CCA and GG. She is a respected humanitarian. She has the large family she dreamt of having. And Brad - very similar achievements.
Seems to me, that as fans, worrying about what the tabs might say or some loonie xhen might say because of what Brad had said in 2 lines of a longer interview is just stupid.

I just think that the media will not relay her stunts in one or two years from now cause sane people who are numerous among the public would have enough and tabs obey to God Dollar, so they will stop. Can he play for Team Aniston?
The answer seems to be yes, with Brad Pitt going to bat for his ex in the February issue of W magazine.
“Listen man, Jen is a sweetheart,” Pitt told his interviewer, defending Jennifer Aniston in light of her recent headline-grabbing comment that it was “uncool” for Pitt’s current love, Angelina Jolie, to tell interviewers about falling for Pitt during the filming of “Mr. & Mrs Smith.”
Aniston told Vogue that some of Jolie’s rapturous public comments referred to a period when Aniston, who was married to Pitt when filming began, was unaware of the romance.
“I think [Jen] got dragged into that [dig at Angie], and then there’s a second round to all of that Angie versus Jen,” Pitt told W. “It’s so created.”
As for his relationship with Aniston, a topic of endless speculation in the tabloids, he said: “We still check in with each other. She was a big part of my life, and me hers. I don’t see how there cannot be [that]. That’s life, man. That’s life.”
Pitt was no less valiant in his defense of Jolie, with whom he has six children.

Yeah, I think Brad’s W was just a little too late for the tabloids this week.
