OlderBrad Pitt Denies Angelina Jolie Affair
Brad Pitt proudly proclaims that his partner Angelina Jolie is NOT a homewrecker. Here’s what the 45-year-old Curious Case of Benjamin Button star had to say in W Magazine’s February A-list issue::
On the public’s misinterpretation of his and Angie’s “affair”:“What people don’t understand is that we filmed [Mr. & Mrs. Smith] for a year. We were still filming after Jen [Aniston] and I split up. Even then it doesn’t mean that there was some kind of dastardly affair. There wasn’t. I’m very proud of the way that it was handled. It was respectful. [The film] will mean something to our kids. It will, that’s all.”
On Aniston’s recent comment that it was “uncool” for Angie to openly state that she and Brad fell in love on the set of Mr. & Mrs. Smith: “Listen, man, Jen is a sweetheart. I think she got dragged into that one, and then there’s a second round to all of that Angie versus Jen. It’s so created.”
On his current relationship with Jennifer Aniston: “We still check in with each other. She was a big part of my life, and me hers. I don’t see how there cannot be [that]. That’s life, man. That’s life.”
On photographing Angie for W magazine’s November 2008 photo spread: “We have fun working together; these things bring you closer. And let me tell you, it’s really sexy to see your loved one through the lens. I went much further [than the cover shot of Jolie breast-feeding]. I didn’t show those.”
On what motivated his request for photographer Chuck Close, who uses a technique called Daguerrotype that captures every fine line and flaw: “[to not have to be] the guy coming out of the ocean water with his T-shirt wet, even though I’ve done that, too, but have always walked away feeling a little crap about it.”
On how family life has changed him: “I quit smoking. That was the only thing that got me to quit. That was it. Done.”
On gay marriage rights: “People who are against gay marriage do not understand the very freedoms that they themselves are enjoying. What if someone said, ‘Sorry, no Christianity here? No Judaism. Certainly no Mormons.’ No one would stand for that, and I wouldn’t allow anyone to say that either. I’d fight them in the same way.”

Why are you people freaking out for nothing?
Brad and Angie are solid, in love and still very much together.
The story has not changed since day one.
Brad was always respectful of Jen. Has never said a bad thing about her to date.
And has continued to defend Jolie. Has completely denied that she is a homewrecker. Repeatedly said she had nothing to do with the end of his marriage.
Continued to say “no affair” and of course they fell in love because of and in Mr&Mrs Smith.. they just didn’t do anything about it or pursue it beyond recognition there was more to pursue until he was separated.
The marriage was done. With or without Jolie.

Why?
“Because you know … six kids,” he says. “Because I fell in love.”
Meanwhile, he says his new fantasy drama The Curious Case of Benjamin Button got him thinking about his own mortality.
“Angie and I do not fight anymore,” he says. “What occurred to me on this film, and also with the passing of her mother [actress Marcheline Bertrand in 2007], is that there’s going to come a time when I’m not going to get to be with this person anymore. I’m not going to get to be with my children anymore. Or friends, people I love and respect. And so, if we have a flare-up, it evaporates now.”
Adds Pitt, 44, “I don’t want to waste time being angry at someone I love.”

Reality check… don’t write a check your ass can’t cash. It took brad Pitt YEAAARS and six kids before he mustered up the balls to go against the grain and defend Angie Jolie. And it was a half ass defense. He is a **Basterd** in the first degree looking out for his best interest which happens to be Oscar gold at the moment. Hopefully some voters will take their heads out of brad ass to see how he uses Angie Jolie and how disrespectful he is to the mother of his kids.

say what you want to about brad and Angie, but..umm, look at their life and now look at yours, they are happy, brad has everything he wanted, and his film is doing great, he is up for all kinds of awards, he doesn’t need you speculating about how he handles things, brad is respected because of how he carries himself so like him or not, that’s your problem. , long live the Jolie/Pitt good luck brad and Angie. later fans.

And in an interview with Diane Sawyer, which aired on ABC’s Primetime Live June 7, Pitt denied that Jolie was a “home wrecker” and implied that their relationship—Pitt’s divorce from Jennifer Aniston remains unfinalized—has yet to be defined. Asked if he and his costar are now embarking on a romance, he said, “There’s a lot still to, I guess, put into place…Listen, I don’t know what the future is just yet.” On the subject of Aniston, he was more direct, telling Sawyer that their split “doesn’t mean you lose the love,” though he admitted that “it’s difficult now as we determine what the next juncture is.”
this will be interesteting to see if these desperate hens after jennifer turns 40. i know females stars movie leading status dries up at this very age. i guess , we have to wait and see ,since she is having her own company echo , a dear mighty publicist ( huvane) and her super power CAA ( agent).

Another reality check for you rabid people..you know who you are.
Brad and Angie both made it clear that they do not read the tabs, do not acknowledge the tabs and only respond if something makes it into a real reputable media source.
Therefore no defense of Jolie was necessary other than them continuing to be together (not apart for more than a week of two since they became a couple) and continuing to have children and adopt children together.
That was until Time Magazine posted the story about Jolie manipulating the media and then Brad blasted back at them.
While Jen admits to running out and purchasing the Jolie Vogue magazine to read what she said.. it is doubtful that Brad and Angie do the same.. that’s why Brad give Jen more credit then really do to her by saying she must have been dragged into a comment like that. A comment he heard second hand and not by actually caring enough to read the article. They have better things to do with their time.
They are obviously happy and content with the life and family they have created and have been careful from past experiences to keep public displays of affection at a minimum. THe only time they seemed to not be able to control themselves was at the award show after having found out it was twins..
